Phenomenal book about a magician's apprentice growing up and learning to control a power not known to his world during a war that spans space!

Amazing book, I love how the book is full of suspense and it made me want to keep on reading it until I had finished it. I also like how the book takes some really unexpected twists and turns so I could really not predict what was going to happen at the end.
