Anton Gill worked for the English Stage Company, the Arts Council of Great Britain, and the BBC before becoming a full-time writer in 1984. He has written more than twenty books, mainly in the field of contemporary history.

There were Pygmy Mammoths still living when the pyramids were built. Clear information on each animal covered. Written over 20 years ago so probably slightly out of date. However as my knowledge of the animals was none I’m more knowledgeable than I was. There’s also a bit on how they made the program but too much.
