A great book of many words of wisdom from the smart people Most of US haven't heard from during the 2020-2024 start of the Covid-19 Decade of Stupid. Please, please take the time to read these people and their books (many are authors). And take a moment to realize the Scam which they perpetrated on the world which was the Covid-19 Plandemic. And, Yes, they have many more Emergencies planned for US and the world and they only need US to react (as we did; follow like a good lemming off the cliff to our death). Time to wake up and learn what they did and how they did it and how to join the people who eventually said Stop the Stupid.

This was a mixed bag, as one might expect of a collection of essays... Some were very, very good. Some less so. Some really resonated. Some made me cringe a little. But the very variety was refreshing. It wasn't a set script with no variation.
Naomi Wolf's essay "The Pain of Listening to Twitter Censorship Testimony" was of special interest to me. It didn't really tell me anything new, but I empathized when she wrote, "I re-trained for almost a decade, in the middle of my life, to teach. It is all I had ever really wanted to do with my life. Now I will never be able to be the only thing I ever wanted to be — a Professor of English Literature at a university. I am now sixty. It’s too late for me. Twitter, in collusion with the Biden administration, cost me my hard-won lifelong dream.....
....Twitter has not sent an advisory to all of the news outlets around the world that depicted me, at Twitter’s own direction, as crazy, that they were wrong to do so; there has been no press release stating that they erred, and that I was right, and that they are sorry for wrongly abusing my reputation (and destroying women). No, forever I remain “deplatformed from Twitter for misinformation,” even though it is finally being established that sadly I was deplatformed for telling God’s truth."

Over the last two years many excellent books have been published covering the astonishing criminality of pandemic policy and government censorship. Canary in a Covid World stands out for its diverse group of authors who bring a variety of perspectives to the conversation. No matter your prior level of interest in this topic you will learn something new from the doctors, researchers, politicians, journalists, and more who share their stories.
For the audiobook, I greatly enjoyed hearing the authors narrate their own essays. I will also be purchasing multiple paper copies for myself and others.

Syksyllä 2023 julkaistu tekstikokoelma ”Canary In a Covid World: How Propaganda and Censorship Changed Our World” on suositeltavaa luettavaa jokaiselle, jolle on herännyt epäilyksiä, oliko sittenkin SARS- CoV-2 eli korona pelkkää vedätystä tai jos on halua tarkastella kriittisesti valtavirtamedian ja viranomaisten toimintaa ja omia käsityksiä aiheesta.
Kirjassa on yhteensä 34 tekstiä, jotka ovat lähinnä esseitä ja artikkeleita, ja ääneen pääsevät ”kanarianlinnut”, joita yritettiin kaikin mahdollisin keinoin mustamaalata ja tehdä Saul Alinskyn oppien mukaan naurunalaisiksi, ja lopulta tietysti kieltämiskulttuurin mukaisesti heittää ulos sosiaalisen median alustoilta ja vimmatusti sensuroimalla ja mitätöimällä tieteellisiä saavutuksia.
Lähestymistapoja on useita, ja kriittisiä äänenpainoja esittävät mm. rokotehaitoista kärsivä; luodaan näkökulmaa median sensurointimenetelmiin; tarkastellaan rokotekampanjointia ja WHO:n roolia siinä; annetaan esimerkkejä virallisista disinformaatio- ja niin sanotuista faktantarkastuskampanjoista; lääkejättien korruptoituneisuutta ja mädännäisyyttä ruoditaan pintaa syvemmältä; puhutaan rikollisesta lääkekartellista ja turhista rokotekuolemista jne.
Vaikka samoja asioista käsitellään eri kirjoittajien toimesta, kirjoittajavalinnat lisännevät uskottavuutta. Kirja päättyykin oivallisesti kanadalaisprofessori Denis Rancourtin artikkeliin ”There was no pandemic”, jossa hän esittää Kanadasta tilastoja, ettei vuonna 2020, jolloin niin sanottu koronaepidemia pääsi valloilleen, ollut mitään ylikuolleisuutta, eli virus ei ollut fataalisuudeltaan sen kummempi kuin muutkaan kausi-influenssat. Ihmeellisesti myös tavallinen influenssa katosi maan päältä pariksi vuodeksi, jolloin PCR-testeillä diagnosoitiin niin terveet kuin sairaat tämän inhan viruksen kantajiksi. Julkaistiinpa Suomessakin väitöskirja keväällä 2024, jolloin vertailtiin muutaman yliopistollisen sairaalan tehohoitopaikkojen käyttöastetta ennen ja jälkeen koronan puhkeamisen. Alhaisempihan käyttöaste oli ennen rokotushysteriaa kuin normaalisti aikaisempina vuosina, vaikka media ja ministereitä myöden kampanjoivat ankarasti RNA-geeniterapian puolesta heti, kun vain injektiot tulivat saataville…

My hope is that this book reaches beyond the echo chamber. It is an important read to go beyond simply what we think and want to know. I wasn't always impressed by the audio quality, as I listened to this particular book wanting to hear the different voices. However, the information, whether factual or anecdotal, is the main take away from this book. We cannot assume we know everything that is happening around us, and all I ask is that skeptics give it a chance to hear from those who were silenced.

You either believe in how the CV19 pandemic was handled or you do not.
This book collects many of the top medical science experts who did not agree.
Pity is did not place opposing iews against positive views?
That would have been useful.
But to oppose the vaccines is controversial and should have been widely and openly debated.
The injuries caused vs the lives saved is really a matter of science and today what can we trust?

Excellent book for anyone interested in how the Covid pandemic was mishandled.

While this book was published in Sept 2023 and the COVID pandemic has slipped from the attention of most, this book is important as it gives a retrospective on much of what happened through that period. Most importantly, critical information was withheld from the citizens and the epidemic was much worse than it should have been. As well, it seems likely that the follow-on effects will be significant.
The government handling of the "pandemic" violated the fundamentals of western democracy including freedom of speech, openness of government, independence of regulators, and the avoidance of corruption in government and corporations. The epidemic revealed shortcomings in all of these areas. If they are not corrected, the same deficiencies will arise in future events.
Much of what the citizens were told turned out to be false. Contrary to government advice it turned out that there were:
- cheap and effective treatments worked: HCQ and Ivermectin
- masks were of little use
- the vaccines did not prevent COVID, nor did they stop transmission
- the vaccines had significant side effects
- those at risk were primarily the elderly with co-murbididies; there was no reason to vaccinate the young
- little testing of the safety of the vaccines was done, and the results were covered up
- early indications of harm were available from VAERS and should have halted the use of the vaccines
"Pfizer's 5.3.6 ninety-day post marketing experience report, which tracked adverse event data from December 1, 2020 to February 28, 2021, showed its COVID-19 mRNA "vaccine" to be the deadliest drug ever rolled out in U.S. history."
It has become clear that Pfizer and other vaccine manufacturers were guilty of fraud and were assisted by the FDA and other governmental organizations that were responsible for the protection of the citizens.
It is also evident that the government controls the flow of information through the Trusted News Initiative (TNI) and have co-opted Big Tech (Google, Microsoft, Facebook, Twitter) to provide all possible assistance in supressing any information or opinion that does not agree with their narrative.
With COVID over for now, we are left with some major deficiencies in our society including government censorship, media which not longer provide investigative reporting, violation of citizen rights and the influence of Big Tech. As Trish Wood notes, "We can no longer trust that government, and the media that keeps them in power, have our best interests at heart."
Moreover, if no changes are made, the same process will be repeated for the next pandemic.
Lord Sumption, a retired Senior UK Supreme Court Judge provides a startling perspective: "In modern conditions, risk-adversion and the fear that goes with it, are a standing invitation to authoritarian government." "Until March 2020, ... It was unthinkable that a whole population should be subject to criminal penalties for associating with other human beings and answerable to the police for the ordinary activities of daily life." "It is widely assumed that this is a phase which will pass when Covid-19 disappears (if it ever does). I am afraid that this is an illusion. We have turned a corner, and it will not be easy to go back."
Science is a way of working through complex information. The government approach of fact checking and reliance on "experts" prevented the normal process of science to work toward the truth. Ironically, this was referred to as "The Science". It is important to realize that government suppressed the process of science.
