Moore Family #4

Finally Moore

Rate this book
Holidays are already the worst.

But when the stepsister you vowed to never speak to again shows up with your ex draped on her arm and an engagement ring shining on her finger, things quickly go from bad to un-freaking-believable.

And drastic measures are called for.

Like pretending my best friend’s brother, who just so happened to walk through the door holding my missing kitty, is also my newly appointed fiancé.

He plays along—thank god—and I assure him the little white lie is harmless. Simple. That is, until I somehow end up sharing my tiny, one-person cottage with the good-looking coffeeshop owner.

No worries, I can handle this.

I mean, Scott Moore only has the most-penetrating green eyes, which are as addictive as the coffee he serves at his café, and lips so sinful they make me sweat despite the snow outside.

Soon, the lines between reality and fiction begin to blur and things between me and my off-limits, holiday hunk heat up like one of his freshly baked chocolate muffins.

I’ve always said that the only good men are fictional. So what do you do when you’re shacked up and sharing a bed with a walking, talking, real-life book boyfriend?

Be his good girl and enjoy the show.

Finally Moore is a full-length romance complete with HEA, no cliffhanger, and no cheating. this story is not suitable for persons under the age of 18. Potential triggers lie within this book.Recommended Reading

“I’m going to want dessert before bed.”

Oh my goodness! Chef, bookseller, and romantic comedy lover, could Scott Moore be any more of a perfect book boyfriend?! It’s always the quiet & sweet ones who bring the hottest dirty talk in the bedroom! Finally Moore is a perfectly charming, small-town, fake-fiancé romance! Scott thinks he has found the woman of his dreams, until she tells him she’s married (separated) with kids. Scarlett was burned by her fiancé and has been restoring her grandfather’s inn in Tral Lake. When Scarlett finds herself in need of a rescue, Scott jumps into the role of knight in shining armor. I loved the dynamic between Scarlett and Scott. From friendly barbs to swoony flirting, these two have sizzling chemistry. Forget the alphabet, baking recipes should be the new recitation material for certain oral activities, just sayin’. I knew I was in for a fun and flirty romance with Frankie Page, but I was not fully prepared for how many times this book would make me melt. I loved revisiting Tral Lake with the Moores and all the zany, small-town characters. Mmm mmm mmm, I would be a better cook if I had Scott Moore as a teacher…or I’d be a puddle of goo on the floor. Give me a bossy, dirty-talking cinnamon roll who doles out funishments when you aren’t fast enough with positive self-talk and I am toast! There were a few moments of miscommunication that made me growl, but I thoroughly enjoyed Scott and Scarlett’s love story. I loved this small-town, sister’s best friend, fake fiancé romance. If you’re looking for a sweet and spicy holiday romance full of quirky characters, a drool-worthy book boyfriend and a delightful book worm FMC, and big family shenanigans, Finally Moore needs a spot on your TBR!

Love this Moore family

Each book I say I love this family. Each book shows the depth and love not only between the main characters but with the side characters; the friends and siblings.

Ive wanted Scotts story since book 1. I loved seeing how he was as a big brother and wanted to see how he would take that quiet care and turn it into a relationship. However dating proved not to be a strong suit.

Scarlett is the perfect match and I loved seeing these two really get into the "fake dating". I did laugh at the comparison of the fake dating troupe, with miscommunication, in their book club books to the actual relationship.

While technically a standalone, I absolutely recommend reading the first three books. It gives a nice background on the main characters as well as the supporting cast. And gonna say I wasn't upset when Killian popped in.

Well done Frankie, you've created this amazing world where I wish I could go. You've made these amazing characters that I wish I could know. This will definitely be a series that I need physical copies of.

Everytime I read a Frankie Page novel I know I'm going to meet a new book boyfriend and swoon so much!
Finally Moore follows Scarlett, a local Inn keeper who's family arrive in town for Christmas catching her off guard and when she comes face to face with her ex and stepsister together, she does the logical thing and pretends to he engaged to the gorgeous Scott Moore who's just returning her wandering kitty (not a euphanism). Scott (foolish boy) has steered off dating after a number of failed dates and hanging his hopes on a woman planning on leaving her husband. Fooooolish.
After agreeing to this crazy temporary scheme, Scott finds himself shacked up with Scar and they both find themselves falling for one another through escapades of the holiday season with her crazy family.
It's hot, it's exciting, it has the third act break up but it has a happily ever after and I adored it!

What an amazing book! Scott and Scarlett were so realistic, lovable and funny together. Scott is looking for a forever and thinks he has the right person only to be thrown curve balls from their date by dating app. Scarlett has issues with trust, insecurity and thinking she’s not worthy of a man who will be there for her. Enter a lost cat, unexpected family, his large family, a quaint town and expected feelings and a deeper connection, commitment and a love that won’t be denied. Also the romance is steamy, hot and never disappoints! 5+ stars.

I was so surprised by this I didn’t expect Scott’s story to play out the way it did, and his backstory is not what I expected at all. Scarlett life was turned upside down and when she took over for her grandfather at the hotel, she thought she left everything else behind. When Scarlett asks Scott to play a part in her in the crazy scheme with her family she completely blown away when agrees. Lines get blurry while they are keeping up with the scheme. Can they really make it work? I enjoyed this very much.

Scott and Scarlett’s story was like a movie going on. The chemistry is smooth and emotional and is full of butterflies. They are what they were looking for but in the wrong place. The story is perfect for a sweet and non-stressful holiday read with lots of love to share. The family ties are a bonus to watch and experience, and to see all the other characters from the series together is always good. All in all, it was simple but fascinating.

Scott is one hundred percent your next book boyfriend! He’s a handsome hard working baker who has someone struck out at love. He really wants that connection, so much so that he can be in a little denial at times. Scarlett is a workaholic who has been burned in the past and that leads her to making a snap decision that involved her BFFs brother, Scott. Scott was such a good sport going through everything. I loved these two together even when they were fighting their feelings for each other!

Inside this delectable Christmas holiday morsel, you can expect food p*rn, possessive yet loving men, spice, and a sprinkle of praise 😉.
You’ll also enjoy a sneak peek at what’s been going on with the other Moore siblings.
Scott is my favorite character from the Moore Family series, especially since he owns the best coffee shop in Tral Lake. I mean, who doesn’t love a man who can remember your drink and food order? I’ve been waiting for this book to release for over a year, and I was not disappointed! This story made me laugh, tear up, and then shout for joy at the happy ending.

❄️Finally Moore❄️
Moore Family Series #4

By Frankie Page

⭐ 5/5 ❤️ 5/5 🌶️ 5/5

❄️ Fake Fiancè
❄️ Friends to Lovers
❄️ Small Town Romance

Finally Scott gets his own happy end

Scarlet
Sweet, determined but hesitant

Scott
Sweet, caring and supporting

”I had you and I was stupid enough to let my own insecurities push you away. Because I kept thinking to myself… how could someone as perfect as Scott want someone as messed up as me?”

I have waited a while for Scott's happy end. The sweet, helping and way to nice Moore guy.
His vision of a happy end he had at first was so sweet but I wanted to shake him too for his faith in love with, especially, the woman he thought about.
I instantly liked Scarlet. She was determined to have her own little business running and you could feel that there was a story about her to tell.
And what a story that was, and how she made her peace with it in the end and moved on was just adorable.
Scott and Scar were simply perfect for each other. It took them a while but they felt it too. Only they avoided talking about their feelings which caused a misunderstanding at the end. But without too much drama they could solve their issues and get their happy end. A deserved one. They fitted well, they had strong chemistry and complemented each other. And blended into the rest of the Moore’s. Whose appearances were highly welcomed.
My thoughts:
I liked both characters equally and rooted right away for them. Sweet Scott deserved the best and that was Scarlet. Her past was a little sad but not too overwhelming. The outcome of that was unexpected but appreciated.
I found a few side characters whose stories I would like to know but in the end it was Moore what counted.

I wasn't a huge fan of earlier books in this series but who can resist fake dating, best friend's brother at Christmas?? Maybe next time I'll be smarter.

I had a whole review in my head but then I realized it was a waste of my time. Instead, I'll just quote a conversation the FMC has with her EMPLOYEE at the cute little B&B they run together.

***********

“Have a scheduled dicking to get to?”

Hannah bursts out laughing. “With any luck. It’s date number five, and if he doesn’t fuck me after this one, I’m convinced he doesn’t have much in his pants. Which, given his big dually, I already suspected small penis syndrome. But now, I’m convinced he doesn’t have much motion in the ocean—I mean, that’s the only reason I can think of that a man would ignore the signals I’ve been dropping.”

“Yeah, good luck with that.”

“Says Miss All I do is read about love but refuse to date. At least I’m out there. How long have I been working for you? Over a year? And not once have I seen you with a guy, not even a basic Tinder hookup. Like seriously? How do you survive?”

“Smut and a variety of excellent vibrators.”

“Your poor pussy. She must be so lonely without a real dick to play with.”

WELL DAMN!!! I love all the Moore brothers/sisters, but I think I am hopelessly in love with Scott now. He has taken the top book boyfriend spot from all the other Moore’s. He had my body aching all over with all the filthy, delicious and depraved things that would come out of his mouth. Plus, the way he handles a woman’s body – HOT DAMN! Where can I find a man like him?

“I’m going to want dessert before bed.” – ugh, ya you are!!!

Not only did I fall in love with Scott, but Scarlett was an absolutely amazing character too. She is sweet, adorable, shy but sassy woman. I loved her connection with Scott and the innocent and organic way their relationship grew from something fake to something so much more than either of them ever expected.

Scarlett is the perfect match for Scott (inside and outside the bedroom). These two together continually had fireworks going off around them even if they were oblivious to it. You could feel the tension, desire and craving oozing between them and when they give into it – OMFG – there goes my panties! Utterly obliterated!

I loved this story. It was well written with plenty of sweet, funny and adorable moments, but with some little twists and turns thrown in that kept me glued to the pages.

So freaking good!!! LOVED IT!

Finally Moore gave me exactly what I came for, small-town charm, holiday chaos, and the kind of fake fiancé chemistry that could melt through a Minnesota snowstorm.

Frankie Page nails the friends-to-lovers tension with a heroine who’s delightfully snarky and a hero who’s... well, Scott Moore is basically a walking mug of hot cocoa spiked with just the right amount of trouble. Their banter was a blast, and the pacing had that bingeable quality I always hope for in a rom-com.

A few standout wins:

The cat-retrieval moment? Iconic. Romance authors, take notes.

Frankie’s voice is sharp and addictive, equal parts heat and humor.

The Moore family chaos adds just the right dash of heart to the steam.

If I had one minor quibble, it’s that I wish the emotional stakes had stretched just a bit deeper in the third act. Things wrapped quickly, and I wouldn’t have minded one more messy, vulnerable moment between these two before the HEA.

Still, this was super satisfying, wildly entertaining, and a perfect blend of holiday tension and slow-burn sweetness. Looking forward to seeing who gets the next Moore spotlight.

So this starts with Scott on a date. Its going well and he really wants to find his forever. She lets slip she has kids which he doesn't mind but then she says she is married and she still lives with her husband but they are separated -red flag. He says its fine and he will wait for her, after 1 date. He refuses to date anyone else while he is waiting. He was kinda pathetic at the beginning.

Scarlet runs the bed and breakfast inn type thing and he mum is coming to visit. But her mum has a surprise for her. Her ex fiance and her sister that he cheated with. She literally caught them having sex. Good move mum. She is panicking and doesn't know what to do when Scott walks in -after he found her cat- and she tells everyone she is his fiance. He goes with it and agrees to be her fake boyfriend while her family is there.

I enjoyed the parts where they were getting to know each other and eventually getting intimate and to say that Scott was pretty awkward most of the time he knew what he was doing with the dirty talk. He falls first but doesn't say anything and she thinks once her family leave he is going to leave too.

He decides to tell her how he feels but she overhears him on the phone to the woman he had the date with. She is telling him she is giving it another go with her husband and he says that's great and your call is perfect timing cos he is about to tell Scarlet how he feels but Scarlet only hears his side and assumes he means he can go out with the woman now her family is leaving so she dumps him.

Scott is devastated and doesn't understand so when Tilly confronts Scarlet and Scarlet tells her what she heard Tilly asks her how many times she has read that exact scenario in a book and criticised the female lead. Scarlet realises she made a mistake and turns up at this New Years Eve party he is at and they make up

I didn't like the non communication, its annoying and Scarlet annoyed me towards the end too. Scott was kinda fickle. Waiting for this woman he thought was the one then sleeping with Scarlet.

I didn't like Scarlet's friends. She was super crude and used the C word way too much. I was happy her sister and her ex admitted what they did was wrong and they both apologised for it and if it was me i would have said thanks for that but were not friends but she forgave both of them. I think it should take more than one trip to fix that.

The epilogue was nice

Scott & Scarlet do not disappoint

Scott is the responsible, level-headed, talented brother in the Moore family. He runs the coffee shop/restaurant and travels with Jax all over the world. But his luck with women is atrocious. The fact that he is considering waiting on a married woman bugs the crap out of me. As a member of the Moore family(in my head), I want to smack him and tell him to move on.

Enter Scarlet with her family drama. Scarlet is the sultry, mysterious inn owner with the great taste in Smut. She adds spice to every situation she’s in. And she has been adopted by the Moores. Her mother is coming for Christmas, but decides to bring along all the drama with her sister and ex. Scott covers beautifully by acting as Scarlet’s fiancé. He supports her through the whole holiday and they grow close.

This book is steamy, and sweet, and just awesome. I love this family and Tral Lake so much! Can’t wait for the next!!

Scott is such a knight in shining armor. I love his love of food and all the fun food references in this story. Scarlett is a great FMC. She's got a ton of self-doubt that I connected with as a reader. It really made me go, "if she can find things she likes about her, so can I!" I especially love hos Scott didn't see any of those flaws that she was obsessed with. I did kind of see the ending coming, but it was still adorable. I also find myself wondering if more spin off books are coming with some of the background characters since all the Moore's are done. Frankie does a great job of imagery with her stories, and I find myself immersed in the story before I finish the first chapter. I can't wait to find out with this author does in her next story!

I adore this series and am so sad to see it end. I have been hit in the feels since book 1. Though the books do stand alone well, I highly recommend reading them in order along with the Fighting for Love Series, which overlaps the Moores.

Scott has been a tough nut to crack. He is so focused on his cafe he doesn't make time for love but now that he is the last Moore standing he is ready to put himself out there, but he somehow pins all of his hopes on a woman who is waiting on a divorce. I love fake relationships, forced proximity, and meddlesome siblings so, this book was right up my alley. I really like Scarlett she is sweet, and all she wants is to run her grandfather's inn and Scott Moore. Her family starts off kind of terrible but they do grow on you by the end.

Finally Moore is part of the Moore Family series, which I absolutely love. The series is known for its small-town, romantic comedies featuring strong-willed heroines and complex family relationships. I was a bit hesitant at first because some reviews mentioned that the beginning of the first book was a little slow, but as the story progressed, it became incredibly engaging and emotional. The story definitely tugged at the heartstrings while also delivering some really funny and relatable family moments. Definitely recommending this book if you want to experience the captivating storytelling and heartwarming family dynamics that the series is known for.

Scott and Scarlett

I knew I want the final Moore book to be the first book I read this year and it definitely did not disappoint. Scott is so swoon worthy because he is so sweet, but also dominant in the bedroom. Scarlett was hurt in the past and always puts herself down. Scott helps build her up and makes her feel worthy. With something that started out fake even though all the feelings are very real between them. This book is sweet and spicy rolled into one.

Scott and Scarlett were entertaining and perfect for each other. I love Scott and when he was planning on waiting for the one after one date I was going what. But then he gets wrapped up in a fake dating with Scarlett. The Moore Family is awesome and love the side characters and the humor they bring to the story. Awesome read.

A friends to lovers, fake fiancé romance. Can we say coffee and baked goods?! Scott is a handsome coffeeshop owner. (Shout-out to all the foodies and caffeine fiends!) Scarlett is a workaholic, past relationship trouble, and Scott's new fiancé...ehrm, I mean fake fiance. HEA. This is the last book in the Moore series at Tral Lake. Another great book by Frankie!

I loved going back to Tral Lake and especially getting to read Scott’s & Scarlett’s story!
I don’t know what it is about a fake relationship situation that I love so much but, I was totally here for it! I especially love the way that Scott just rolled with everything, no questions asked. The vibes of this story were amazing! The holiday feels, the family love, and all the fun & quirky.

Scott, the workaholic, seems to want to find his person and little does he know that they might be closer than he thinks. Or perhaps a lost cat and fate intervene. Fate might also bring him to the right place at the right time to be the chef in shining armor to save the day for Scarlett from a visit with her family… and her ex-fiancé.

Scott and Scarlett are so good for each other 🫶🏻😍. I loved that he wanted to build her up, defend her, and take care of her just as she wants to with him. Couldn’t get enough of it!

🍽️Quick Notes🍽️
✨Friends to lovers
✨Fake fiancé
✨Small town
✨Little bit of holiday vibes
✨You’ll want to be Scott’s good girl 🥵
✨Can be read as a standalone but, you could read the others in the Moore series if you want to know the backstories of the other couples
