a very interesting book. a dictionnary with the major bands. Very intersting to read, For a Hard rock fan like me , I found there infos about ZzTop, GNR, ACDC, Iron Maiden, Nirvana, Izzy, Queen, Aerosmith, Anthrax, Black Sabbath, Bon Jovi, Alice Cooper, Kiss, Deep purple, The Doors, Jimmy Hendrix, Def Leppard, Europe, Faith No More, Foreigner, Jethro Trull, Joan Jett, Judas Priest, Led Zeppelin,Lynyrd Skynyrd, Metallica, Gary Moore,Motörhead,Nirvana,Ted Nugent, Ozzy Osbourne, Pearl Jam, Pantera, Iggy Pop, rage against the machine, The Ramones, Red Hot Chilli Peppers; Scorpions, Sex Pistols, Izzy Stradlin', survivor, Ugly Kid Joe, Van Halen, The Who, Neil Young and so many others; For some I am a super and faithful fan like GNR, ZZ top, Gary Moore ite to very bluesy) and ACDC. I aded to them, Airbourne (absent), Rolling stones , also, but we were warned at the beginning of thos book, Every band couldn't be put there. For others, it was a specific song , but I do love their sound, energy and beat. I also love a lot Telephone from France, and Raïna raï / amarna from Algeria with their specific bass sound.
Also absent are the numerous Native American and First Nations / Canadian Group and singers like Dark Cloud with the powerful warpath, Blackfire, I Dont Konform, Mutilated Tyrant and Born of Winter. Don't forget the great Artist John Trudell. To read
