Wow!
This book has taught me more than I can even explain. As I read, I processed what I read, trying to absorb the lesson. I'm so grateful for this book and highly recommend it no matter where you are on the path of faith.

Get Your Miracles Now?
What is Faith? The author contends that faith is an act or response to God’s Will as known through His Word … and Faith is the currency of God’s Kingdom that allows you to “demand” God act on His promises. In other words … if you don’t get what you want from God, it is because of your poverty of faith. So the whole point of this book appears to be how to increase your faith so you can get stuff. This is a dangerous parallel to the so called “Prosperity Gospel” that frequently morphs into a we all get what we deserve and if you pull the short straw it is because of something you did or did not do attitude. There is soooo much wrong here I struggle to begin an appropriate critique. The problem is that there is also a lot that is actually pretty good before it jumps into heterodox theology using incomplete proof-texting and anecdotal miracle stories (some of which should have easily been medically confirmed … such as turning metal into bone). While I absolutely believe such miracles are possible, many of the miracles described should have in fact caused a significant stir in the secular communities and withstand their scrutiny … and so are likely to be very hard for many to accept. And then the explanation on why everybody doesn’t get the miracles they ask for is because we live in time and God lives outside of time? Yeah … weird. However, Bridges does a reasonable job of extracting context from the original Koine Greek terms found in the NT; however, there are also several research missteps … such as blaming primitive embalming techniques for the reason Lazarus’ body would smell days after death (unaware perhaps that Judaism actually prohibits embalming the dead). Such a lax approach to details undermines the over all message that ultimately comes from opinion in search of supporting facts.
The narration was decent for this genre.

Great Study
Loved this Bible study. I devoured every word. It opened up my eyes to these scriptures about Faith in a whole new way. I came away with more peaceful perspective.

Found this book say the right time, needed a Faith redirect. This is not one off those mushy American Faith books, name and claim it rubbish

It is not our faith it is Jesus faith working in us.
I would recommend this book to anyone that wants to see the supernatural happen in their life. We question why we don't see the bible miracles working in the church. This may answer that for you. You too will decide do I believe the word or do I believe my senses: sight, smell, hearing, touch. I do believe we are in a time in history that we do need to be able to walk by faith and not sight. To be able to demonstrate the power that is in each of us through Christ. People are searching for the supernatural and God's Church should have the answer . Read this book and be encouraged to start and challenged. Faith in Jesus's faith in us. Belief that goes beyond our senses and to the God of The miraculous. Let's head toward the supernatural being the natural in our lives. I know I Want To. This book may be the start in understanding the how's and the why's. Enjoy.

Wonderful word about faith and the supernatural in our lives; I've read other like books and enjoy each one for a hungry soul can take away sweet nuggets of manna that will carry through decades of time and this book is truly a worthwhile read as a useful tool in developing a Christ-likeness in your life encouraging and challenging you to be more fruitful toward the supernatural from the guiding light of a talented and anointed author giving insight on true Christianity and faith.

Life changing
A very biblically structured book on faith. It teaches what true biblical faith is and how simply taking God at His Word opens the door to advancing His kingdom in the power of the Holy Spirit. This is not supernatural faith for the elite followers of Christ but what is available to all who believe (Ephesians 1:15-23)

Loved this book. Dr. Bridges reminds us in it that we don't need "more faith". God has already given us all faith to believe. We simply need to believe the right One, our Creator God. You will love this book from beginning to end.
