Of course there's a fucking Marxist approach in The Tempest... That man is everywhere!!

I really enjoyed reading about the different approaches from academic studies surrounding this play (post-colonial, classism, feminist, and psychoanalytic,...), and I cannot wait to discuss the colonialistic aspects in my tutorial.

I do have to say that the "incestuous desire" and "paternal narcissism" bits freaked me out... I did NOT want to think about the play in that way.

Not much wrong with this book other than a couple of the essays were a mixture of great and disappointing. The rest are just great. This is the place to go if you want to learn the current state of criticism about the great play.
