Determined to find a way to fit in with her friends, Noelle goes hunting for a Daddy of her very own. But will her search bring her a Christmas miracle... or disaster?
I think the author wanted to write a sexy, smutty Christmas romance and instead ended up writing a, not subtle, don't judge people's kinks ted talk...
The characters were great, Dom had so much promise, also fire fighter so duh. Big fan. The communication in the book was so good, refreshing to have couples talk throughly about their wants and needs (until 3rd act misunderstanding i guess? Not break up but still gross).
I've not read a smutty book with this genre before and it's taught me that "Daddy romance" is not for me (no judgement you do you, just not for me). But it might be because the plot was actually very poor, very very little happened outside of the "Daddy/Little" plot. It read more of a "guide?" I guess. Here is an example of how to get into this lifestyle, case study than an actual novel.
Also it was IN NO WAY a Christmas book... Having one scene of a Christmas parade does not make something a Christmas book.
I'm honestly shocked that Taylor and Carly's books have 4 stars, but this has 5. I got 30% in and just couldn't do it anymore. If you are actually a Little, or even just in the lifestyle at all, heads up the frequent kink shaming and judgement may possibly pi$$ you off.
Honestly Noelle had annoyed me in the other books a little with her comments and actions, but I was not prepared for how mad she made me tbh. Being unsure and confused does not justify her words and judgment. Being jealous does not justify her actions and words. She takes out her moods on everyone which is not okay. Her jealously of Carly is therapy worthy.
The constant disrespect and kink shaming is insane. And I do mean constant! She's already been corrected by Taylor and Dom, yet she literally will not stop spewing judgements. For someone who jumped on an app to meet kinky people (because she was feeling left out not because she had real true interest at first), she sure did zero research. If it was just like unsure self judgments with no malintent then I probably wouldn't have such a strong opinion. For example, a common one I see for newly exploring subs is the how can I be a sub and like being dominated if I'm a feminist. Although it shows a lack of understanding of submitting and kink itself, it's not mean spirited. Just uneducated. Noelle literally refers to her friends as being "beaten" multiple times in reference to punishments or $pankings. Obviously there's a difference between doing your research and actually truly grasping something after experiencing it. But she just went in for the wrong reasons and no research. Which is dangerous in real life. Thankfully she found Dom, because many people aren't so lucky.
She honestly reminds me of the brats who aren't actually brats, they are just a$$holes who use the title brat as an excuse to be mean spirited.
It's possible if I pushed through this book I might have enjoyed it and her possible growth. But there was just too much that kept pulling me out of the story.
Sorry for the rant lol. Obviously this book was definitely not for me, but if you haven't, then I would definitely read Taylor and Carly's books! I really enjoyed those!
A wonderful Daddy and Little read that you will love reading with wonderful characters
This was a simply wonderful read when we are introduced to Dominic who is a dedicated firefighter who has been a Daddy before but it had not been the relationship, he was not wanting a relationship where he was constantly giving orders to his little.
Then he had gone to pick up his daily coffee and had watched in amazement as a small female came in and had then faced off against a supposed Dom who had started to become nasty and the woman had appeared to be in danger.
Afterwards he had spoken to the woman whose name had been Noell and they had hit it off especially when they had spoken about him being a Dom and then she had expressed her interest finding and experiencing being under a Daddy Dom’s care.
They have an instant connection and Dom is a wonderful caring Daddy but he is not as constant with rules and this is something that she finds confusing as her other friends that are littles have very different daddy’s and so she decided to push her daddy by ignoring his rules which could so easily have caused her and her friend Ginny to be harmed by one of Dom’s colleagues.
This is a very interesting read it is full of facts and lots of Daddy and Little action and I guarantee that you will love this captivating read.
I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read. I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing
From the first page, I was in love with this book. The wonderful characters and humor were just the pick-me-up I needed. The journey of Noelle and Dominic was one of mutual. respect, challenges, and revelations. I admired how Dom encouraged Noelle and instilled in her that their relationship did not have to mirror that of her friends.
Noelle wondered if she could be a little like her friends, but who could help her explore this? Not the wanna-be Dom she was going toe to toe with in the coffee shop as Dominic stopped in for his morning coffee. Not that Noelle needed much help as she was no shrinking violet and a feisty little thing.
Dominic was a Daddy who did not want a full-time relationship. The attraction to Noelle was instant and he offered to help her explore her little. Dom was not a strict Daddy with lots of rules like her friend's daddies. This caused confusion leading to Noelle pushing boundaries, and ignoring rules leading to danger for Noelle and her friend Ginny. Dominic made sure that Noelle knew to be careful about what she wished for where her safety was concerned.
Noelle was such a contradiction at times. She did not like to be told what to do but thrived on it. Her innocence and cynical nature made Dom want to corrupt and protect her at the same time. Dom was my ideal Daddy. He was laid back and relaxed, and let Noelle explore at her own pace.
This book was entertaining with many facts about the different types of Daddy/ Little relationship there is out there to explore.
After her bestie Taylor and the new girl in town Carly, had formed a friendship based on both being Littles ,Noell feels left out.
Determined to find out if the "Daddy" thing could work for her, she's about to meet in person a guy she had met online. Too bad his RL personality is even worse than his online one. When things get heated and the douchebag is about to get violent, it's a good thing firefighter Dominic is around to help. Dom Hale is gorgeous and as hot as the fires he fights on a regular basis. Turns out he's a Daddy Dom, and he's very happy to show Noell the ropes. But opposed to Ian and Matt, her friends' daddies, Dom is much more laid back and isn't interested in controlling every aspect of her life. That has to be a good thing, right? She doesn’t want her life controlled by a bossy man! But maybe it means he doesn't care enough?
Well, after putting her life in danger, Noell is about to find out.
This series is so fun to read! I loved revisiting characters from previous books in the series. We learn some interesting facts about Edie, meet the very interesting Hale family (I would love to read Dom's siblings' stories so please write them Stella Moore!) and get some insights to Ginny and Rex's coming story.
I very much enjoyed this book, so i suggest you give it a try!
I just want to start by saying that I would have given this book a 3 because I personally don't like bratty Littles but I don't want to take personal preferences out on Stella. Noelle definitely fits into the category of bratty but sometimes you also get a glimpse of the squishy heart she has. Her love and loyalty to her friends is very admirable and was a joy to read. It was also great to read both her and Dom navigating through their Daddy/Little relationship to find what works best for them as a couple. Lots of open communication, which is a great plus! It also helped that their "grown-up" time was so hot and they fit perfectly together on that front of the relationship. I loved the instant connection Noelle had with Dom's sister Lulu and his nieces. When she was telling them the story at their first dinner together you could see she was going to fit right into their family. I also loved that Noelle's friend group accepted Dom so easily and were great cheerleaders for their relationship. Even though this could be read as a standalone I recommend reading book 1 to get a better picture of the relationship between the friends and their interactions with each other. Next book is Edie's and I can't wait to read what made her build such a tall wall around her heart.
I am leaving my honest review for a complimentary copy of this book via the author.
Noelle and Dom are so much fun! The connection between Noelle and Dom is instant, but the relationship takes longer to develop, and I love that. There's also a lot of humor in this one, and some suspense. Noelle isn't sure she's a Little, or that she wants a Daddy, but she's tired of being on the outside looking in on the friendship that's blooming between her best friend Taylor and new to town Carly who are both Littles. Noelle doesn't understand the dynamic, but part of her is intrigued. She's also a Brat and too independent to want someone to boss her around all the time. Dom is a Daddy who isn't really interested in a full-time relationship. He prefers to keep his Daddy play to the clubs because he doesn't want to be a strict disciplinarian. One of the things I liked the most about this one is all the explanations about the different relationship dynamics. Dom spends a lot of time explaining things to Noelle and making sure the lines are clear. I also like how the relationship changes over time, like most relationships do. There's a nice blend of sweet and spice, and Noelle's personality is the perfect counterbalance to Dom's. There isn't a cliffhanger, but the ending does give hints as to who the next one will be about, and all I can say is that I can't wait.
Noelle has never been able to understand her bestie’s (Taylor) happiness with being a Little. Being a strong willed, fiercely independent, woman she can’t fathom having rules and taking orders from a bossy “Daddy” let alone wanting/accepting punishment for transgressions. It has become even worse for her when another friend, Carly, is equally immersed in the DDlg kink and seems to be coming in between Taylor and herself. She’s not only jealous, she’s a bit confused as well. When Dominic intercedes between her and an abusive date, things begin to change. What follows is a great story of discovery, discipline and love. Nothing comes easily for her, but eventually she grasps the concept that the Daddy/Little relationship is not a static one-size-fits-all dynamic. With Dom in charge she is able to be herself in every way she was meant to be. The story has EVERYTHING and is an absolute joy to read. Great characters, great scenes, and a very fitting HEA. One of Ms. Moore’s best stories ever. 5 Stars I received an advance copy of this book from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review.
Friends with a couple of littles, Noelle is feeling left out and frustrated. Does she have little tendencies or does she just have a huge case of FOMO. Unfortunately her first experience with a "daddy" is a wannabe who gets the boot not only from her but from Dom, a daddy who happens to see what's going down in the coffee shop. There's a instant attraction and they decide to explore this possible dynamic between them. And let me tell you, these two are hot, hot, hot. Dom had a history of being a daddy and he's not the type who likes give constant rules and directing his little's entire life. Noelle keeps comparing her daddy to her friends and their relationship and thinks she needs to get a reaction to have her daddy prove his love. Le sigh...this of course leads to much mayhem. But also a big talk between Noelle and Dom and eventual HEA.
Noelle's Christmas Daddy is the 2nd full-length story in the Lost River Littles series. While Noelle and Dom's romantic story can be read as a stand-alone, I recommend reading the books in order, since all the characters from previous books play huge roles in this story. Both Dom and Noelle are very likeable characters and I enjoyed everything about their growing relationship from their first chance-meeting to their HEA. There's a bit of angst, suspense and drama, along with emotional moments and sexy times. An entertaining read that will keep you glued to the pages from the first to the last, with a glimpse of what's to come. I can't wait! I was fortunate to have received an advanced copy from the author and am leaving this review voluntarily and honestly.
Firefighter and Daddy Dom, Dominic and distrustful Noelle are a different kind of Dd/lg couple. I almost DNF it. He has no rules except when she's "little," which doesn't compare to her friends' which leads to anxiety, and Noelle is a self-righteous brat (which is generally NOT my thing). The whole thing seemed VERY forced. Noelle had no idea about DD/LG relationships until her BF was in one and was making new friends, and Elle got very jealous and decided to try it with all her righteous indignation. It didn't end well for her. I did keep reading, and it did end nicely, but their relationship was just too strange for me, I guess. The next book sounds even weirder. Sorry.
❤️🔥Dd/lg ❤️Sp@nks ❤️🔥Firefighter H ❤️Strong FMC ❤️🔥Brattitude
I LOVED this book! These characters were so well defined on their own, but together? *perfection*
Noelle isn’t one to take anyone’s nonsense. She is strong and independent and knows what she wants. She isn’t about to let ANYONE steamroll her and can’t understand why her best friend would be interested in having a Daddy who seems to do just that.
Enter Dom. Like a knight in soot covered armor, he swoops in and shows her not only how good it can be to experience the lifestyle, but also shows her that she deserves all the love he has to give - and then some.
This book is spicy, sweet, and I couldn’t get enough of them!
I really enjoyed this story. Noelle very much wants a daddy. She feels a bit left out seeing what some of her friends have and she's tired of the fake wanna be's. When she meets tge sexy firefghter wh9 just happens to be a daddy/dom, tge attraction and chemistry is instant. Dom is very sweet and caring without a lot of rules. He's not very strict like some of Noelles friends. She can't seem to stop comparing her and Dom to her friends. Watching their relationship grow is something I really enjoyed. They really balance each other out once Noelle realizes and accepts not all dd/lg dynamics are same.
I love this series and was anxious to read Noelle’s story. She is friends with a few Littles and has been feeling a bit left out. Could she be a Little? How will she know? And if so, how would she find a Daddy to help her experience it? Being the first experiment she tried didn’t work out so well, what a pleasant surprise that Dominic, a hot firefighter, basically comes to her rescue. They are both immediately attracted to each other, but can Noelle let Dom be her Daddy? They both decide to take a trial run and see if it would work for them both, and what a ride you are taken on! Noelle is definitely a brat, but a loving one and I enjoyed reading about her journey into Littledom. Dom is so patient and kind, yet the perfect person for her, he just has to prove to her that they do indeed belong together. These two have smoking, sizzling chemistry, so much so, that I swear my kindle almost caught on fire! They made me laugh and made me cry, and made me root for them throughout! What a delightful story that everyone should read!
Noelle’s Christmas Daddy is a fun, cute and extremely well written DDlg romance with a somewhat different dynamic than what you usually encounter in the genre - and I absolutely loved it. Between lovable, relatable characters and an in-depth plot that takes the time needed to build authentically and is written with heart and wit, this original, humorous, steamy - yet deeply emotional and highly endearing story caught me from the get go and made for one seriously hot, enjoyable and entertaining read.
This book can be read as a standalone, but you'll enjoy the story more if you first read book one, Taylor's Unexpected Daddy. Noelle is feeling left out as her friends are Littles with Daddies. She learns that being a Little isn't a 'one size fits all' situation. Her journey to become Dom's Little is one that has twists and turns but becomes a fantastic ride for Noelle. They have their HEA, and I enjoyed reading about every step they took to get there.
I received an advance copy, and this is my honest review.
Is Noelle a Little girl, or does she just want a relationship like her friends have? When she meets Dom, he is a Daddy, but he's not like the other Daddies. Noelle second guesses herself and Dom a lot. Luckily, Ms. Moore loves us, her readers, and she gave us a sweet and spicy happily ever after. In the end, Noelle and Dom are perfect for each other, making for a book that is so very much worth the one click.
I received an advance reader copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
I really enjoyed everything about this book. I appreciated Ms. Moore showcasing a different type of DD/lg relationship showcasing just how customizable kink is. It was so well written with believable characters and a compelling storyline. I was rooting for this couple to not only find their happy ending but to find and define their individual roles in the relationship. Knowing I cared this much for fictional people just made reading this book a pleasure. A definite must read.
Hilário, sensual, quente, humano Amei Dom, totalmente fora do esteriótipo do dom milionario e frio Dom é bombeiro, risonho, fofo... Amei
Absolutely loved Noelle’s story! 😊 From the push & pull inside Noelle to accept what works for her & what she likes, to the communication between both parties, to the different type of DDlg relationship celebrating the brattiness & realizing there’s no one size fits all.
I loved Dominic’s personality & how from the get go it complemented Noelle’s & acceptance of who she is & what her needs were.
I appreciate being able to follow Noelle as she meets and falls in love with Dom.
Noelle is conflicted with the emerging emotions regarding rules, punishments, and her wanting a Daddy, to be just like her friends. It is an interesting journey she embarks upon.
I really admired Dom, knowing who he is as a Daddy, what he needs to complement him, and not settling for less.
This was such a cute story. I enjoyed watching Noelle try to come to terms with what it meant to be a Little to Dom. And Dom knew what he wanted in her. Their connection was great and I enjoyed the little bit of drama and angst. And while this book can be read as a standalone, I really suggest you read the first book in this series so you know what it's all about! Loved it and can't wait for the next book.
I really enjoyed this book. All the characters are so well rounded they could be your neighbours. They are real and alive. I loved sweet, cranky and scared Noelle. Dominic is just what she needs even if she does not know it. I loved all their interactions. Including the hot sexy times and well deserved spankings as Noelle finds herself. I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book and I recommend it. I hope that all the characters that I met in this story have their own stories.
I just wanted to keep reading. I love that we are getting Noelle's story because she is so strong and this shows so much more of her. The way she meets Dominic is great. I love that Dom has such a happy easy going nature in most things but not everything. I also loved that this does a good job of showing a different kind of DD/lg relationship. I can't wait for Ginny and Rex.
I received an ARC and am leaving my honest and voluntary review.
Dom short for Dominick met Noelle at a coffee shop she was telling another fake daddy dom off. they hit it off when they met .She told him she wanted to meet a daddy dom which Dominick is they hit it off but Noelle was worried because her two best friends are littles with strict daddies and Dom wasn't which made her unsure if he had feelings or was just using her so she puts herself in danger no spoilers but this was such a good read and i cant wait for book 3
This book was really good! I was looking forward to hearing Noelle's story after reading the other books and I'm so glad I got to read it. I definitely misjudged her as snotty and jealous when really she was a little insecure and worried about losing her friend. Dom is smoking hot and so sweet and patient but also totally alpha when the time calls for it. This book has a lot of emotion and a ton of super delicious scenes. Noelle needed a soft place to fall and Dom fits the job perfectly!
A friend recommended this book and it hit that holiday spirit spot! Noelle is a no nonsense woman who is human enough to have a few insecurities but it's not overwhelming the character in the story. Dominic is the "Daddy Dom" that makes that will light your panties on fire. The chemistry and realism that was shown was amazing. I'll be on the look out for Book 3!
Noelle is not your typical Little. I love how the author explored a different way of approaching a DD/lg dynamic that was less rules and more caring. Dom was super dominant in the bedroom though and that was very satisfying and spicy. I am really enjoying this series and can’t wait for Ginny’s story next.
Dom (the Daddy Dom )Handsome,Chivalrous and Strict (just the right amount of strictness) Noelle Gorgeous (but clueless and insecure) Bold and Independent They meet by chance and are instantly drawn together.Dom helps Noelle figure out who and what she is about and the road to their future has a few bumps but the end result is worth everything
