[Siren Everlasting Classic Erotic Alternative Paranormal Romance, M/M, vampires, werewolves, HEA] Kory Kendrick thought taking a shortcut through the woods would shave off time, until he runs across a corpse buried under a pile of leaves. He soon finds that the guy isn't as dead as he thinks he is. Kory must find a way to get the guy home before the things that haunt the woods come out of hiding. But what started out as trying to help a dying vampire soon turns into something that is wholly unexpected. Kory finds the man charming, sexy, and a bit on the odd side, whereas Dante looks at suburban life as a foreign concept, a strange way of living. When the neighborhood watch gets involved, things heat up. The four men who patrol the neighborhood might have a brain cell between them. Complications increase when Kory's younger brother becomes deathly ill, and Kory must find a way to save Jonah while struggling with his desires for his newfound vampire. ** A Siren Erotic Romance

I'm giving it an extra star for making me laugh so much. Dante in suburbia was priceless and the neighborhood watch guys were a hoot.

There were little niggles, but they were far outweighed by how entertained I was. My face kind of hurts from smiling, partly because I'm grumpy and don't smile much, but mostly just because I was doing so much it.

Absolutely loved this one. This is the best one from Lynn Hagen I have read in quite a while. Reminds me of why I started reading her books to begin with. Dante's new friends are such oddballs, so different from what you would expect from someone Dante befriend that it is hilarious watching him interact with them. This book is a good combination of fun, laughter, tears, and an adorable insight into a future mating....
I'm guessing maybe Harley's story will be next as he has found his mate in one of Dante's new friends?

Feeling really, really good now. This was delightful.

Kory’s funny in the best way. And seeing Dante deal with a human family is just… yeah. It’s wonderful. The way Dante is slowly and inevitably upping the ante for himself because he begins to care about these people.

I could have wished for the sex to be a little less, uh, florid. But that’s acceptable, particularly since matters do not erupt into mindless sex/attraction right away.

The feels weird. Sudden personality change much? The little we see here it strikes me as immature, and Harley does not seem to completely match the impression I had of him previously. But maybe that’s just me.

I find myself wishing that the series did not feel it constantly had to keep raising the stakes. That’s not how you heighten tension infinitely; eventually it is going to collapse in on itself.
Same thing with . It seems over the top to get a new Big Bad – and one of such supposed power. Kinda makes half of the previous and current badasses on both sides of the fence look wimpy. Or so the implication promises.

How odd is it that these books have suddenly become good again, right after hitting rock bottom for me. But hey, I certainly won’t complain!

Kory was HILARIOUS. I laughed so hard "dead guy" "cool your loins, Casanova". I kind of thought he lost some of his spunk though at the end and it made me sad. I wanted the same funny Kory and I didn't see it anymore.

We got the annoying neighborhood watch though. Man, those guys were at times funny, but of the time I wanted to knock them out.

My question is what's the dead guy and Kory going to do? Still live with Kelly or buy their own house? Is Casanova going to introduce Kory to the paranormal world? Since he knows NOTHING about it, I would have liked to see him with his own kind and meeting new species, other than the Ultionem.

Ooo...are we going to get Harley's story soon?

Jonah was just TOO adorable, but I can see problems rising in Derrick.

Overall, MORE PLEASE :)

I really enjoy all the Lynn Hagen Brac/Zeus/Christian series but I felt that the series were beginning to wane because the last few have only been so so.

This one was great and very funny. I enjoyed it and hope that future books will also be as enjoyable as this one.

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with this one.
After the last few from her I was close to giving up on this huge series of stories at all mix up. Cause I'm tired of them always against the Malone guy. and the stories seemed rushed and quick to finish.
But this one was a fun read (like they were in the beginning). Loved the neighborhood watch scenes and the kitchen scene. Hopefully the rest will be more like this one.

Another great one from the hood. Oops I mean Ms Hagen. Reminiscent of the Brac books with quirkiness and fun. Dante and his reactions to his surroundings was belly inducing. Plus the added benefit of learning of someone's future mate and what we may expect. Very fun Read.

I don't know. I expected better. The characters just didn't have enough "Oomph" to carry the story. They were pretty cardboard cut and even slightly boring. I did have fun reading about the neighbourhood watch though. They were ridiculously hilarious and managed to uplift my spirits.

Loved this addition to the series, so very funny in places, though there are a couple of niggles.
So hoping that we are going to get Harley's story and its just not left as it is.

Well, I delved into the Bracverse a 2nd time and now there are 121 books - yikes! I loved this Universe the first time I read it several years ago and now I love it more, I really do, but I've only been able to read these series (and I have expanded to all the books that are currently out in each):
Brac Pack
Christian's Coven
Zeus's Pack
Demon Warriors
The Exiled

These are the series that start the Universe. Reading them in order is a must. Each book has it's own love story but there is an underlying story that plays out throughout them all. As you get towards the end of these series, other series come into play and I noticed that, since I did not read them, I missed some of the characters being mentioned (good and bad) but I was still able to follow because the main ones stay the same.

One day I WILL buy these and read them all!!! (For the correct order, just look on the Internet for Lynn Hagen Reading Order):
Brac Village
Shadow Tribe
BPNG (Brac Pack Next Generation - Brac Pack kids)
The Remus Brothers
Wolves of Desire

I love Kory's character. He's very responsible young man with a heart of gold. He has been so strong for his family especially for his mother and his youngest brother since his father passed away, it felt like Kory carried the weight of the world on his shoulders then fate brought him Dante. Dante is good addition to Kory's family and he vowed to protect his new family and help Kory find a way to cure Jonah.

Quite exciting. This was a good read, though the ending did help when the Ultionem finally came in.

White wolf & vampire plus Jonah becoming all species!

Defeated vampire rescued by a young wolf shifter hiding his true nature from his adoptive human family

I had given up on the previous series, the eight books into the Brac Pack and a book or two into the companion Zeus's Pack, when the cringes from the stereotypes and simple writing overewhelmed the charm of the relationships and the pull of the sizzle. However, since this book in a following series centered on a vampire/omega wolf pair, I thought I'd try it.

The plot developments, relationship building, and dialog is still ridiculously simple, and the heat remains only mildly enticing. However, the original world (now labeled "Bracverse") of overpowered warrior wolves mating with twink/injured/child-like humans has expanded greatly. On the one hand, the range of characters and pairings sounds incredibly enticing, from vampires to fae to demons and beyond. In addition, there are clearly high level paranormal politics involved, which I often find to be extra enticing.

Unfortunately, the simplicity of the writing doesn't quite work for me, although it clearly does for many readers, as threre are over 100 Bracverse stories now. I will dip into these types of stories as guilty pleasures (the series I read as simplistic, sexy, ridiculous but endearing guilty pleasures have included Resistant Omegas and Tri-Omega mates), but I think I'm done with this one.

And then I read about the plagiarism issues and now I'm sure I'm done.

I love this book. I was laughing out loud throughout this. Unfortunately, I started reading this book late because I couldn't fall asleep; my family, of course, didn't appreciate my enjoyment of the latest book in the Christian Coven series. This book had me talking to myself aloud in a non-crazy way, especially when my suspicions about the mystery man were confirmed at the end of Ceri. The scene with the neighborhood watch crew was just hilarious. The scenes with Jonah were just about the cutest thing ever. I was already halfway through the book before I realized it. This book has the right amount of camp that I didn't have to fight with myself about wanting to throw my reading device, and that would be an expensive habit to develop. I don't know what changed with the author, but I'm enjoying their direction with this series. I'm exactly all here for a few sex scenes, but after reading several of her books, I mean a lot. I'm just over the sex scene and glad there are less of it. I love that the main characters interact with other people than just themselves. How secret is Ultionem? If It seems everybody and their mama can call them up.

I'm also loving the new mating stories for the future. I also keep forgetting that the time between mating stories may come out every few weeks, but the mating pairs in the previous books could have been together for years. I have no real concept of time in these books. I mean, Malcolm and Luke's son Cole is now SIX, and Melonne is now an adult with mates and a kid.

The only problem I have is not about the book itself is more of the author choice of have the mixing characters from others series involve which I absolutely love but no real information available about what the actual book order. In book 7 something significantly happens to several characters that are not resolve in that book which fine but by time you get to this book the issues are resolved in this book and I have no clue how they were resolved. She has several series, and I'm not interested in a couple of them, or it's expensive a habit, especially when it is around 4-6 dollars each. Plus, that s*** adds up quickly. I wish the author just had an up-to-date reading book order.

Side note: I'm also wondering if I'm the only one who feels like Maverick is the corniest character in this series. I just could never take his badass Alpha Timber Wolf seriously.

Forever Yours by Lynn Hagen is the eighth story in her Christian’s Coven series and definitely needs to be read in chronological order.
After the angst in Ceri, Dante and Kory gave us a much needed rest. Even Dante’s fears felt lighter in comparison. I thoroughly enjoyed the naiveté and innocence of Kory. I could see that after what Dante had experienced Kory would provide something necessary to him. I loved the humor that Ms. Hagen also gave us. I mean the neighborhood watch men were hysterical even if why they did it felt sad. I loved their antics and knew that had a hand in helping Dante forgive himself. In this story, Ms. Hagen did a wonderful job of balancing competing needs all while giving Kory and Dante time to learn each other. I enjoyed the light heartedness of the story even while it dealt with pain. Kory’s family was a wonderfully fitting back drop in his growing relationship. I loved their easy acceptance. It felt natural and real.
I appreciated the lightheartedness Ms. Hagen gave us as the battle between good and evil began to heat up. I loved that she balanced the horror with the hope. I thought she gave us a well needed look at innocence coupled with strength and I am looking forward to what happens next.

This was the first book I read from this series. I chose it because it had some good reviews. I have read several books from the Brac Pack series and just wanted to try something from this series.

This book reads as though it was was not written by the same person who wrote the first dozen books in the Brac Pack series. There has been some discussion on Goodreads about several people writing under the Lynn Hagen name.

So my review: It was a fun read and the Neighborhood Watch group of guys were hilarious. Unfortunately, the romance was pretty weak with the relationship building almost non-exisistent.

I have been a fan of Lynn Hagen since I stumbled on her work a few years ago now. I certainly wasn't disappointed with this book. The story between Dante and Kory had me smiling, teary eyed, laughing out loud and giggling. The Neighbourhood Watch team had me in stitches. I just love reading books where there is a little humour thrown in. Always makes me smile. The love story between Dante and Kory is beautifully written. This book is another fine example of the work of Lynn. I really can't wait to read the next story in the series. An amazing job, Lynn. Just amazing

Forever Yours

I loved how this book began and ended. Dante was a coven leader who's coven was killed off. Glory was adopted and is an omega wolf. These two are mates and they go through all kinds of situations. But they come together with the help of Dante's friends to save Jonah who is four years old and dying of cancer. With the blood from Kory and Cole he is cured with very surprising results. I can not wait for the next book. Erin

Hagen

What to say, but every book I read or Miss Haven serious is one of a kind. Also they all go together, from Brac pack, ChRistians Coven, to Zeusus series. They all are very good reads. I have read all the books at least four times now. Keep them coming and thanks for writing them.

Forever yours

This book was very entertaining the characters personalities were perfect I but out of all the silliness there was the serious of Jonah and his problem I really liked Kelly korys mother she was written as such a strong person. It was cool seeing all the leaders together it really was a good book and I'm glad that I read it it was well worth it.

I loved how much Dante changed over the course of the story. I never really liked him much when appeared in previous books in the series but by the end I really liked him. The story also made me laugh. The scene where Dante is caught playing dolls with little Jonah was really cute and funny. All in all, I really enjoyed this book.

Dante finds his mate.

In this the eighth installment of the Christian's Coven series we find Dante covenless and half dead. Kory a young shifter finds him and the fun begins. I laughed so hard at parts of this book and felt teary in others. all in all a great read.
