Victoria Parker's first love was a dashing heroic fox named Robin Hood. Then came the powerful, suave Mr Darcy, then Lady Chatterley's rugged lover and the list goes on. Thinking she must be an unfaithful sort of girl, but ever the optimist, she relentlessly pursued her Mr. Literary Right and eventually found him lying between the cool, crisp sheets of an M&B Harlequin romance. Her obsession was born.
If only real life were just as easy...
Alas, against the advice of her English teacher to cultivate her writers muse, she chased the corporate dream and acquired various uninspiring job titles and a flesh-and-blood hero before she surrendered to that persistent voice and penned her first romance. Turns out creating havoc for sassy heroines and devilish heroes who are dynamite-at-first-sight truly is the best job in the world.
Victoria now lives out her own happy-ever-after in the north-east of England with her alpha exec and their two children - a masterly charmer in the making and, apparently, the next Disney Princess. Believing sleep is highly overrated, she writes until 3am, ignores the housework and still loves nothing more than getting cosy with a romance novel. When she isn't buried in a book she loves discovering far-flung destinations and getting into mischief with her rather wonderful extended family!

Reread.

Angst and chemistry.
Great progression of character development.
Could have smacked the hero a couple times, but he came through towards the end.
Great heroine, strong, kind, beautiful and good heart.
Loved their HEA, wish we had an epilogue.

P.S. Safety info -He thought she cheated on him when they were younger (she was kissing a guy but pushed him away and hero didn't witness the pushing away. Plus lots of false media accusations of her with other men.). So for safety he was not celibate during the separations.

Wow, loved this book. Talk about chemistry, emotion and character depth, this book had it all. Very impressed with this author! she will put on my auto bye list for sure. A must read!!!!!

Nicely intense story of an H/h who have been attracted to each other since heroine was a teenager.

When heroine’s fashion designer mother died, hero comforted her and one thing lead to another, until the hero came to his senses. Hero saw heroine with another guy that same night and was convinced she was a loose woman. To add to this bad reputation, heroine was in the tabloids for a few years since her father was an 80’s pop star and her brother became a famous race-car driver.

H/h haven’t seen each other for five years. Heroine is speaking at an annual fund-raiser for breast cancer that she and her brother have held every year in honor of their mother. Her brother can’t attend so he sends hero in his place. H/h end up having a clench and a private conversation that is picked up by the heroine’s microphone.

H/h decide to fake an engagement so hero can get a business deal with a “family man” seller and heroine can keep her wedding dress boutique going.

It’s a common trope, but the author skillfully knocks down the H/h’s misunderstandings one by one as she un-spools their backstories. There were too many mommy/daddy issues for my taste, but the romance was nicely done.

Both the H/h were likable. Hero was cruel enough to be interesting but quickly showed his true feelings through his actions rather than his words. There is a detour to a private island off the coast of Spain to round out their romance. Heroine sacrifices her business in order to help hero with his deal.

Welcome to Dante's infero! I just fell in love with the hero in this book.I liked the fact that he had feelings for the heroine straight from the beginning even though there was no big reveal of his feelings till the end.
As usual we have a damaged hero who does not trust ,nor does he do love.Enter Eva,former wild child turned wedding dress designer.Eva has secrets that no one knows and it is heartbreaking. This is one of my fav tropes , the "best friends little sister" books. They have a pretend engavement to save each others reputation and to ensure that Dante obtains a big business deal. The press has painted Eva as a reckless and wild Diva.Dante believed everything that was written about her,but as he gets to know Eva more, he sees the reality, not what the press has portrayed her to be.They dance around each other and slowly Dante begins to see the real Eva ,I can see him just falling under Eva's spell. The scene in the caves was beautiful.I liked how Eva was able to show Dante his dead mother's pov with her lifestyle choices.
I loved these two together, each fighting the attraction, the sparks just flew and when they finally made love, just Wow!
I love romance in books, and Dante is my HP boyfriend. This author portrayed his character beautifully and I just got choked up when he confessed his love to Eva at the end.I ,guess I am a sucker for a man who loves like Dante.
This was my first read by this author, thank you for an amazing book, will def be reading more from her.Huge 4.5******

As often as always, this showed up in my feed thanks to my GR friends and I was planning to read it sooner than later. My first from this writer and I was impressed. This was pretty well written for an HP and to me felt like a regular novel. Also had the sweetest tropes of all, brother's best friend. Sigh.

The H was a total dream boat and is making to my book-husband list with honors. The h was a spitfire and a notch too mouthy for my initial liking but gradually (when the plot unravels) I began to like her. She was a fighter and didn't need anyone playing her a knight!

I wish there were more scenes of the H taking care of the h, or a bit of the post pregnancy life. Also, the h's brother seemed to have disappeared from the plot! I would've liked to know how he reacted to seeing his best bud hook up with his little sister. The banter between the h and H was just short of pulling out daggers. They felt ready to slice each other but it was extreme sexual tension since deep inside they both had been loving and dreaming of an HEA with the other for all their lives!

I will try other books by this writer!

Very intense read, full to the brim with tension, angst, sizzling attraction and a multitude of emotions.
VP's writing is rich, powerful and very compelling. Her characters are well- rounded. Dante and Eva are a great couple. Their attraction is scorching hot. When they are together, it's explosive.
Dante is always judging Eva, always comparing her to his own wild mother.
After her mother's death and her father's desertion, she has been tabloids fodder, wild child, front page scandal. Now she works hard as an upcoming wedding dresses designer.
Eva is the kind of heroine I like. Vulnerable yet strong and independent. She is misjudged by the paparazzi and by Dante who believes what is published in the press.
Dante is one hell of a hero. Alpha, ruthless, dark. He has his own demons to slay. He is the kind of hero who doesn't believe in love but when he falls in love, he falls hard and forever. His declaration of love is so intense, so heart- meltingly emotional.

I have mixed feeling about the book.
On one side, I loved the writing style, setup, heroine, plot and hero’s possessiveness and to some extent hero. Also this was super hot.
What I didn’t like was heroine’s constant moaning about hero’s past women. That happens when you knew the hero from young age. She was jealous as hell. It’s no secret that I hate over OW involvement. Here thankfully no one particular woman was involved but heroine constantly thinking about his exes affected my enjoyment.
And second one hero married another woman. Truth about that was revealed later and he also thought at that time that heroine was a loose character but that didn’t appease me.
No epilogue.
I liked the ending though, his love speech was heartfelt and his gesture to make her believe in his love was very profund.
Overall an emotional, angsty, passionate love story with depth. Almost a second chance love story.
Recommended.

Victoria Parker's second book builds on the promise of her debut. She provides lush escapist reading, perfect for a hot summer afternoon.
All Eva St George wanted to do was to honour her dead mother with a fundraiser for breast cancer. However when her brother becomes stuck and sends a stand in, she is forced to encounter the one man who is capable of sending her up in flames --Dante Vitale.
With her fledging reputation as a wedding dress designer put in jeopardy, Dante comes up with a solution that is supposed to be strictly business, but with the chemistry between them, will Eva be tempted to mixed business with pleasure?
Looking forward to Victoria Parker's next book which features Eva's brother Finn.

It is a solid new HP read. What stood out about it was Dante's character. He was something new and something old. He has this touch of broken within his character that seemed new to HP. I was pleasantly surprised. I liked Eva's contrasting character having an edge of sophistication but the heart of innocence. I'm happy to finally have a new HP author to watch out for. Thanks VP.

Loved this book so much with a big part having to do with the characters in this book, who I absolutely love by the way. Both of them. They were just great, real, relatable, and totally feel worthy characters that anyone would root for. There were both beautiful people with beautiful hearts yet had many issues that they needed to deal with and do and do so because of this great developing romantic relationship they had, giving them strength while falling in love with one another. And it was just beautiful and a beautiful love story to read with lots of passion and tension along the way. And the passion was hot hot hot!

Dante and Eva had always had history with Dante being her brother, Finn's best friend. Eva was in love with Dante at 18, and wanted to be with him in every way possible, wanting him to be her first lover and her basically everything, for her he was the one, and no other man would have done. While Dante was extremely attracted to Eva, and could feel the chemistry between the two, and even though they had a night full of hot passion it never went all the way with him becoming her lover. He walked away from her, hurting poor Eva in the process, thinking he didn't want her or worse that she disappointed him in some way. But that was not the truth of it at all with Dante having several reasons for not giving his attraction to her that night. For one, he didn't want her to do something she would regret and take advantage of her grief since her mother's funeral was earlier that day, and he didn't think she was thinking straight at the time. Two, because she was Finn's little sister and figured he would kill Dante if he ever touched sweet, innocent Eva. And Dante feared of ruining that friendship. Thirdly, he didn't feel good enough for her and shouldn't be touching an angel like her at all. But to complicate matters when he came back to her to explain, when she thought he just left her when she needed him the most, he found her in the arms of another guy, and was filled with jealous and very angry at her for betraying him with another man, feeling that she just wanted a body in her and not specifically him and just anyone would do. Plus he was pissed that she went from him to this other guy so quickly so he just left, remaining angry at her while Eva felt totally humiliated and alone when he left.

And that was five years ago and that set up the premise for the story, and the reason they haven't seen each other or been in each other lives for some times. It also added to the wicked tension between the two with their attraction being clear but stopping themselves because of the events that have five years prior with both being upset and angry over so they were refusing to give into the temptations because what they believed was true, and was doing their best to protect themselves in the process and not let their guard down, which wasn't easy. For both of them.

And that back and forth just added so much to the tension and them fighting it, making me anticipate what was to come. Because that attraction to one another was so obvious and really hot. Anyone reading this could see where this was heading and looking forward to the journey that they were about to go on together. And it was clear from page one that they belonged together no bag of bones about it between their attraction, history, their deep emotions that oozed off the page it just set up the perfect combination for a great, loving, passionate romance, and I loved the entire journey and taking it with them and seeing them change and grow over the course of the book. They just fit so well together and dealing with some of the issues that were still between them, but they became a stronger couple because of it.

They meet up again at a Breast Cancer charity again, which was founded by both Eva and Finn after their mother died of breast cancer five years previous. And the siblings would always do this event together, but Finn wound up snowed in somewhere and had no way of getting to this event so Finn, not realizing what had happened between Eva and Dante previously, asked Dante to go in his stead and be there for his sister. Neither were happy about seeing one another again, but the attraction was still as strong as ever no matter how they tried to ignore it, but a lot had changed since they met with Dante having being married, becoming a successful businessman (in hopes to prove himself to his old man who never valued him), and being a one night stand guy while Eva, trying to change herself after the tabloids branded her a party girl and that was how the world saw her even though it wasn't true, having dealt with her own cancer scare and resigning herself to the fact that she would never be in a loving relationship filled with a husband and children because of the possibility that she could get cancer like her mother and grandmother, being it ran in the family and she didn't want to put any of her love ones through what she went through when watching her mother die a painful death from the cancer. She wanted to spare them that plus she had some trust issue since her father abandoned the family once her mother got sick and carried on with his love life like nothing happened.

So a lot had happened to them, but the attraction still remained even if they wanted to deny it. It was so hot and palatable from the moment they reconnected though Eva did try to push him away, but that didn't work. They were caught in a passionate embrace out on the terrace with their conversation being broadcast to the ball since Eva still wore her microphone from making her speech a few minutes prior. And even though it was barely a kiss, it was still hot nonetheless, all hell broke loose and consequences ensued. Dante was "engaged", even though it was really just an arrangement and not a love match at all, to another woman, which Eva didn't know at the time, in order to show this man, whose business Dante's trying to takeover, that he was not a simple playboy, but was settling down with a wife and becoming a family man and was going to play that part until the deal was done and he succeeded in his endeavor. While in Eva's case she had her own big deal in the works and knew that compromising position wasn't going to earn her points plus it would brand her as a man stealer, which no client would be please to hear about or work with.

With both deals being in jeopardy, Dante came up with a plan to salvage both deals and salvage both their reputations. The plan was to present to the public that they fell madly in love with each other and fell into a whirlwind romance and recently became engaged.

Eva was horrified with this plan because it fit so close to the truth of what she wanted it back in the day, and could barely take it at this all just being pretend. Also she wanted to deny the attraction between them which was growing the more and more they spent with each other until it was setting fire to the pages. And even though seemed like Eva was the biggest fighter of this attraction, there was a struggle in Dante's part as well because of his feeling of her betraying him in the past so there was a lot conflict there just adding to the tension.

They would pretend to be a couple, which was hurting her because she wanted it to be real and frustrating him because he really wanted her, but refused to give in. And let me tell you the scenes were definitely filled with angst and longing that was just adding to the anticipation for when the passion finally did explode onto the page.

And it didn't disappoint in the least when they finally gave in to it. It was just great. Filled with passion and feelings and so much depth to the scene that it was more than them consummating their relationship, developing their relationship. But that wasn't all because a few truths came to light about some of the misconceptions that they had for one another. For one Dante learned she had never been with another man and he was in fact her first. She learned that he did in fact want her and that he never was disappointed her or didn't want her on the night that he left her, but gave her the reason why he didn't make love to her that night (reason I mentioned above), which just changed her prospective totally, and built up her confidence a bit when it had been in the dumps because of that night. So once all the misconceptions get out of the way then the full passionate love scene began and it was just beautiful scene with lots of pleasure going on after having denied themselves five years prior. And it was definitely worth the wait for both of them with each of them giving themselves fully to the other person and letting their guards down and being vulnerable because it was with the person they wanted to be with and trusted the most. Plus there were deep emotions going on even though no one was admitting them.

Another beautiful love scene was the scene in the cave. Oh, my god. Talk about sweet, tender, romantic, touching yet no less passionate that had major steam too it. Not only was it in romantic setting, but it was just a beautiful done scene because of the meaning behind it, and how Eva truly let go and showing how much she did trust him with his body while he was trying to show her the pleasure of her body and not be afraid of it. I've never really read scene which was romantic, but so poignant to their relationship and really showed what they truly meant to one another even if the words weren't spoken, it was still very clear with just the tender actions alone, and it was great. That was showing in its finest and really pacts an emotional punch to anyone reading it. I would even say that was one of my favorite scenes in the book or in any romance book in long time with the other being Sarah Morgan's book with the hero making love to the heroine who was scarred and showing her that it didn't matter to him he still wanted her. And the same could be said for Dante, even though she wasn't disfigured as the heroine in Morgan's book, the scars were still there both emotional and physically and this one scene was a way for Eva to overcome both, seeing it didn't matter to Dante if she was scarred or not. But more to the point what this scene showed was her enjoying his pleasurable touch on her chest, which she associated with pain and disease and just unfavorable touches on her chest when she went through her scare. Plus she didn't value her breasts and even hated them and being woman because to her they represented pain and disease and dying with the breast cancer, but Dante helped her get past that, making sure she found the pleasure in his touch and not to resent that part of her anymore and not associate it with pain, but with pleasure. And she trusted him enough to allow him to do this, and it was beautiful.

That was near the end of the book and just a great scene to read, and just showed their emotions for one another. It well done, and I applaud the author for how it was executed and how the issue was dealt with and overcome so that Eva could move on and have a life again and not be defined by this disease and actual be with the people that she loved. (Also she did hide the fact that she had a scare from Finn not wanting to worry him, so she had to deal with that all herself and all her fears concerning possibly getting sick in the future).

And that person that she wanted to be with and love was Dante. And Dante felt the same. After one final misunderstanding where Eva believed that he was only planning to now marry her because she was possibly carrying his child, and he said that he wanted to have a heir. Eva didn't want a marriage like that, but wanted one for love so she refused him and left, but he came after realizing he loved her and couldn't live without her for single second. He wanted to be with her no matter what even if she did get sick someday, though he hoped she wouldn't of coarse, than he would be there for her during that time even if he would hate seeing her in that pain. He loved and he just wanted to be with her and would never run away like her father did when her mother got sick. So, they had a nice, passionate reunion, declaring their love and devotion to one another, ending their sweet, romantic story.

A love story that I adored for many reasons I stated above, but another reason was the man himself Mr. Dante Vitale, who was such an alpha male, but he was a man. A truly wonderful, great man that I could see why Eva feel in love with from the start. He was smart, strong, dapper, a totally hottie, a gentleman, passionate, loving, generous and just a kind man, who deserved the love of a good woman, though he didn't believe that because his daddy gave him an issue with his worthiness. Just Dante was a great male character and even though he treated Eva unfairly in the beginning because of his misconception, I never found him to be cruel or a jerk, but instead he was easy to fall in love with and found him totally relatable. He was just a man's man, but totally a sweetheart as well. And I just loved him, I can't say enough good things about him. He was just perfect for Eva as Eva was perfect for him, complimenting each other so well. I just loved him so much, and I think any reader would agree when reading this story.

I can't say enough good things about this book because it was just such a great passionate romance that any romance fan would enjoy. The love/hate relationship or the push and pull in the beginning just add to the tension between the characters, which added to the hotness in their relationship. And also that tension added to the depth of their relationship as well as their growth. I love stories like this one where the characters had feelings for each other for a long time and never have given into them as of yet, adding to this strong sexual tension that adds to conflict and passion of their love stories until it basically combusts on the page. I guess because they loved each other for a long time and have come to know one another, it makes it believable that they fall in love once they give into that attraction because once they do then it just takes off and can't be stopped for a single second being like a freight train essentially. It just all that tension built up for years and years, and having grown over time not disappearing so when they finally do make love it is filled with passion, longing, and intense emotion after having waited so long for this moment. And I think those scenes are the hottest ever and most time the most beautiful because of the deep feelings between them beforehand, and the physical is just an expression of that. And it's beautiful to witness and finally see them get what they have wanted all these years and allowing their love to blossom. That's what this book does as well as dealing with the issues along the way like her not liking her breasts being touched, which resulted in a beautiful love scene. And plus it makes it really believable as well to see this story unfold because feelings were already there to begin with.

I just loved this book so much and for so many reason with many of them listed above. I can't find anything to really complain about. I was really pleased with the entire book and like I said it partly had to do with them having a history plus the guy is really just a hottie plus a sweetheart. Can't go wrong with that combination for a swoon worthy hero that readers would easily drool over. In fact I really liked both characters with each of them having their own strengths and independence to them yet at the same time needing this love from the other, which just makes them stronger to face the world together with their love being the most important force in their life. It was a beautiful love story to read, and I was so glad that I had the pleasure to read it, and wished more stories were like this because these story tug on the heartstrings while having readers rejoice when they finally do get with their intended.

So, I applaud Victoria Parker on another well written (she has just a great style of writing to her and one that I love just like I did with her debut)Harlequin Presents story that any fan would enjoy reading and thoroughly loving it as well as the characters especially a certain alpha male that fans would easily fall in love with. I must say I'm really liking her books so far. I've read this one and her debut now and both in my view were complete successes. I can't wait to read her next one, which I believe is Finn's story. Can't wait to see his story unfold, he seems like an interesting character that is caring and loving yet a totally playboy. I wonder if he meets his lady love during this snowed in period. Maybe. We'll see, but if Victoria Parker keeps writing books like her first two then I know I am going to be fan of hers for life, hopefully she'll keep writing for Harlequin Presents for many years to come and I look forward to every single one coming my way. Can't wait to see Finn next.

The expression 'From the frying pan and into the fire' is not even close to what the heroine in this book steps into. Nope, she goes straight into the everlasting depths of torture.

And no I am not exaggerating ! Eva St George goes from hiding from the world to 'the woman who stole another's man' in the space of less than 24 hours. To make things worse the man of this entire mess is no one other than Dante Vitale.

Once she offered herself to him and he walked away and ever since she has made sure to avoid him at all costs, never again does she want to fall into his charm-trap and lose her heart again only to be discarded for someone more his taste.

And she most certainly does not need to be with a man that thinks her to be a all night party, spend ever sent I have, drink myself into oblivion, sleep with every man that wants me woman.

Dante of course sees only one problem in the entire set up, keeping his hands off the woman that has tempted him from the first time he saw, slutty or not he still craves her like a man craves water in the Sahara. And when he gives into temptation and discovers the shock of his life, he starts to crave something else entirely, but it is something that will never happen for that he is simply too cold hearted.

WOW WOW WOW ! This book was so many amazing things I am for the first time in my life speechless and struggling to find the words. I absolutely loved it to bits! From strong and feisty Eva to arrogant "I am going to whack this man so hard" Dante, to the exquisite backdrops and delicious heat that explodes into such a blazing inferno the pages went up in flames with each word I read, it was all romantic perfection!

The character of Dante was at first such a sob I wanted to do some serious damage to him, I have a soft spot for Italian hero's and even with them being a little arrogant in the start of reads none of them have ever bugged me as much as this man did. Of course knowing this is a romance read and knowing that this author always has something super special up her sleeves, I knew I had to keep reading to get to the bottom of his cold hearted attitude. And boy oh boy was it a fire cracker of secrets! Him going in for the kill in everything he does in life, showed him as ruthless and cold hearted, but when the author showed me the reason behind it all my heart broke! I went from yelling at him to wanting to fix him anyway I could. Through this character the author showed just how badly decisions made based on past issues can destroy our lives.

The character of Eva was really awesome! I adored her fighting spirit. She might be hiding from the world and the sacrifices she faces but when she is dared she fights back with such a vengeance it took my breath away. I truly enjoyed her anger and it was as if she was right there up in my face ready to tell me off too! I loved how the author let Eva go from feisty the one minute to " I am going to burn in hell for this" to fun and girly the next. It showed the character as I think many of us are, we hide our secrets behind various masks all the while fighting anything and anyone that threatens to remove the mask, and this causes us to lose track of which mask we are meant to be wearing and thus reveals the true person we are.

The book was full of red hot passion, amazing memorable realistic characters, a plot you will never, ever forget and a love so strong it will take your breath away. When I was done with this read it took me almost a full four hours to step out of Dante and Eva's world and come back to my own, this has happened to me before but, I have never been so sad to come back down to earth, I wanted to stay trapped with them !

I will forever remember the amazing intense love that Dante and Eva shared and the unforgettable magic that this author creates! I am taking away a message of letting someone you love into your heart, is the most important sacrifices you will ever make. At times it will hurt, it will feel as if you should have made a different decision, and it for darn sure will be hard at the best of times, but when you feel that person returning your love you will know it was all worth it.

OMG! WOW! I want to read this all over again. I AM IN LOVE. WITH DANTE VITALE. Oh my lord, this man is HOT. He has got to be one of the sexiest M&B hero's I have ever read. Then there is all of his pain loaded onto his blistering Italian passion and the ending......I burst into tears. Then read it again. This is not just a romance, this is a love story and the way the author wrote it weaving their pasts throughout and how he felt about Eva all those years ago with such subtlety was clever and engaging and amazing. The heroine was a wonderful blend of flaws strength and vulnerability and I loved her feistiness and the way she stood up to him at the beginning. Because he really did not handle seeing her for the first time in years very well. Which is probably a big understatement, he was a shit! Which reminds me the opening chapter in this book is absolutely great! So often I read short romances and wonder if the couple will last past the year but when I closed this book and sniffed a few times I knew in my heart these two would be together forever. I loved Victoria Parker's debut for it's uniqueness but I think this even tops that for me. Her description is just as stunning, almost magical and Dream Falls and the caves - oh my! Super HOT! This is a must read and I can't wait for Finn. Another reviewer mentioned Finn (Eva's brother) is out next and all I want to know is WHEN?

With enough heat between them to rival the Sahara, the fine line between business and pleasure is going up in flames.

Much better than the author's previous book. I really enjoyed the heroine, she was feisty yet so vulnerable. The hero was a tougher nut for me because he seemed to always think the worst of the heroine, likening her to his mother, but he does come around.

I had a very hard time connecting with the H and h. I think I am in the minority on this one.

I loved Victoria Parkers debut Princess in an Iron Mask and I am glad to say that her second book A Reputation to Uphold is just as excellent and equally unique. Once again the authors evocative voice, incredible characterisation and beautiful description make this a must read book. I identified with Eva from the very opening paragraph and as for Dante – think gorgeous, smouldering, powerful and dark – a hero to die for. I followed every moment of Eva and Dantes turbulent, moving journey with bated breath and tissues to hand. I cried and laughed and rooted for them all the way. Victoria Parker is moving from strength to strength – I loved this book!

WOW, WOW and even more WOW..... I've been looking forward to reading this book for the past 5 weeks, as this was given to me personally by Victoria Parker and also dedicated to me along with some of my family members, and I have to say it is a real honour.
I really enjoyed reading PRINCESS IN THE IRON MASK, and thought that was a hard book to beat! But what can I say!..... A Reputation to Uphold is on my list of one of the most amazing books I've ever read. All I'm going to say girls is READ THIS BOOK! You WILL love it! (And Dante)

Well deserved 5/5 I would give more! Enjoy

I loved Victoria Parker's second book for Harlequin Presents! Not only does this book centre around one of my favourite tropes - the older brother's best friend - but the opening chapter is one of the best I have ever read! I was squirming in my chair! Parker's ability to morph as a writer and give us a story with a completely different feel to her debut, Princess in the Iron Mask, shows us we have many more distinct, wonderful books to come from her! Dante is also the most super sexy hero imaginable :) Cannot wait for more!

I wanted to like A Reputation to Uphold. Really I did. It had a fabulously wealthy alpha hero damaged by his past. It had an ok heroine who was still a virgin. It had angst. But. It didn't engage my interest. The romance was blah. The story I skimmed.
It had the fake relationship. Hate that. Paparazzi following the heroine. Hate that. The heroine keeping in contact even tho barely with her ahole dad. Hate hate hate that.

I wanted to like A Reputation to Uphold. Really wanted to. But it failed to engage my interest.

Dante, damn you rocked my boats, he is your typical alpha dominant sexylicious guy with an acceptance to his feelings towards the woman of hus heart right from the start. He is inferno reincarnated.
Eva is sophisticated lady upfront but loved the fact that she had an underlying innocence and bubbly side to her character. Fell in love with the charaters pretty damn much. A good deal of romance & a great deal of INFERNO to read through.

Eva St. George has started to make a name for herself as an exclusive fashion designer. It’s not the first notoriety she’s had however. She’s been in the spotlight for years, showing her penchant for wild nights & wild boys. Of course, all is never what it seems…Read More

I could not put this down. It was absolutely wonderful, I loved it from beginning to end. The depth of emotion combined with the clever way the romance unfolded..... No spoilers but Dante..... Oh. My. God. Sexy isn't the word. *Fans oneself* This author is quickly becoming one of my favourite M&B voices. This is a must read for Presents fans. LOVED IT!

Best book ever! Wow so hot!!! Omg where do I begin with this one. The heroine is in love with the hero forever and wanted him to be her first lover after her mom died! She told him only one night but he said no he could not handle that. It was intense awesome dialogue. He was amazing and she was what I would hope I would be. Just awesome book. Read this one. You will thank me if you do.

Loved this book! Stayed up until 4am with it, and honestly could've happily read another couple hours if I hadn't run out of pages to turn. Smoldering. Angsty. Full. Of. Awesome. Gonna have to find her debut now to give a read!

There is plenty to get picky about with this book. (Misunderstandings, 5 wasted years, h who is a bit of a martyr, man-whore H who gave up way too easy in the past).

But it was still a great read. Angst, romance, eventual love and understanding, and I really liked both the H and h.
