The most complete book on Second Language Research methods.
This book has been complete in all areas of research, specifically, in the second language. From the beginning, it explains where the research begins, where the questions and assumptions are created, and the next phase is to design the type of research according to the questions or problems posed. Third, it is to contextualize the research questions and in the following phases, it is where it is explained what the data are, how and when to collect them, through different types of collection either by questionnaires, observations or interviews. In addition, the book mentions more types in detail and everything goes according to its use. On the other side, the next phase is, when the data is collected, to analyze it and there are different forms and types of data analysis depending on the research design and the data obtained. Last is to summarize, report and interpret the results of the data analysis obtained.
The content of this book has been very comprehensive in terms of second language research, aimed at second language learners and everything related to second language study as well as applied linguistics.
