I found this at the library book shop yesterday and it looked so bizarre I couldn't resist. There actually appears to be real scientific info on solar power systems in this book, but I knew nothing about them before reading the book, so I am not 100% sure. I do have to wonder if the DoD really did build a 1000 foot tall cat in the desert outside Barstow CA to collect solar energy and, in its spare time, fish for any invading Soviet submarines. I imagine if they did it would be top secret. And I totally believe the part about cats having invented the sun, but, despite the assurance that cats are poor attorneys and therefore cannot protect their patent/copyright, I know it is a good thing that my cat has not read the book and decided to prove the author wrong. I prefer to get my sunlight for free, instead of paying a user fee every time to cats.

A cute introduction to solar power systems! It's a bit outdated, but the basics it explains are still accurate.

Possibly one of the strangest books I've ever seen. Don't know whether to put it in fiction or non-fiction. It's basically a joke book. Pretty entertaining.
