I really hate when this happens...I see a book that looks really good and I hardly see any reviews on it, and I take a chance thinking I am finding a diamond in the rough. But nope! That didn't happen here. I thought the first half of the book had so much potential, but then I keep reading and it just wasn't working for me. I am a sucker for dialogue and it was more like describing what was said instead of actually giving me the exact dialogue. I thought that took away from the book. I also felt there was no build up with the characters and falling in love. I saw so much potential here, and it fell short for me. Yes there was a nice surprise and a lot of secrets in this book, but again the character development wasn't enough. This book was just okay for me. I was going to give a 3 star, but after deciding how I felt, I went with a 2 star.

I'm with you had my emotions all over the place! Glenna really brought Bella's pain and heartache to life. See Bella is a broken rose and she meets Cutter who is also broken and together they try and heal each other. But when Brianna (Bella's friend) finds out some information it puts a tail spin on everything she has over come.

I’m With You is seriously one of the best books I have read in this genre. Glenna Maynard is new to me but has written a few other books that have been well received. A little about the story and characters Bella Rose and Cutter Dawson. Bella opens as a very troubled girl. As the chapters go on you find out little bits about Bella and her suicide mission. She is lost and broken since the death of Harlan. Everyone has singled her out and far too many think she killed him. His brother Nolan is lurking all the time, that is painful. When she runs into Brianna Jenkins things seem to get worse. Here is a very unique description of Briana "is just one of those girls that once they have pissed in your cheerios, everything about them rubs you the wrong way. Even her shade of pink lipstick makes me want to smack her" THIS is great!
Intending to end her life on a specific day at the falls where Harlan died, she meets Cutter Dawson. Now both of these amazing characters who are both a little broken try to heal each other.
What I LOVED was Bella and her mental health. Dealing with her manic depression is hard. After spend almost a year in a psychiatric facility she manages to see a doctor and take part in therapy. I dont know how much of this will be important to others, but I thought that it makes the appeal for Bella so much stronger. Many times the author discusses the medication and the importance of therapy and taking her meds daily. For me, this was so important. I also like the fact that there is a stigma about being in a facility even if she was there to deal with depression. She is in my opinion bullied into seclusion. She can not take the stares and whispers and with her diminished mental capacity to deal, she takes drastic steps. She removes herself and pretty much doesnt communicate with others. I am so glad she accurately depicts this part of grief and longing.
There is her Grandma, that pretty much raised Bella. She is stern but so loving. Her home cooked meals will make you drool with wanting. The description of her garden will make you want to swing with a glass of lemonade while gazing at the roses. There is a special bond there. When Hurley comes into play as Cutter's friend who gets him a job, you will get the funny things that certainly lighten the mood.
So many things happen that will leave you just staring into the book with your mouth hung open. Yes it is THAT GREAT.
PLEASE read this book, review it and tell the author how you loved it. It will mean a lot to her to hear some praise.

Ok, now that that's out of the way.
Holy hell.
This book was amazing.
Easily Glenna's best work yet. (Apparently that not having internet was good for her).
Notes... have a comfy reading spot in mind and settle there. Have tissues, you will ugly cry. I'm warning you. And wine is good.

Bella is so broken. I wasn't certain she'd pull back from the heartache she endured. But she comes alive in the book and you feel every tear and smile in your soul.
Cutter, ah Cutter. So sexy, yet so damaged. His inner strength will grab you and hold you.

Supporting characters are phenomenal.
Ugh... there are moments when you will have to hold your stomach from laughing and moments you will want to curl up into the fetal position and cry. And the sex scenes... hot, passionate, intense.
If you're like me, you'll get to the end and be so happy, yet so sad that the journey is over.

I really did try with this book and continued to read it even after I lost interest. I hate giving authors 1 or 2 star ratings because I know it takes a lot to write & publish a book but I have to be truthful. It did not work for me at all. The writing was not good and the story was not making any sense to me. I probably could've given it more time but the amount of eye rolling I was doing while reading this was giving me a headache.
It starts with a girl who is deeply distraught over an event that occurred with someone who she kept saying she loved yet treated her like crap. Ok, that happens BUT for like 2 or 3 chapters she is mentally in this dark hole and just about to go through with this big plan of hers when all of a sudden out of nowhere this mysterious guy appears at her side stopping her, they go back to her place and have sex!? WTH just happened there?! Shortly after I just lost interest. It was next to impossible to connect or relate to the character and it makes it especially difficult when the writing (dialogue) was not good.

Holy moly!!! I've read 168 books so far this year & this book is definetly in my top 5. This author never fails to blow my mind with her brilliant talent.
This is not a book to read & put down. Take the time, like I did today, and enjoy this epic story in one session.
I'm not going into any more of the description than what the author gives you as I want you to feel the book the way I did. The twists had my heart in my stomach!!!
I can't recommend this book highly enough. I just hope that this wonderful author is busy writing more gems like this one.

Wow. I really didn't know what to expect when i read this book as i had only read Mc books by Glenna until this.
A gorgeous story of how 2 tormented souls meet in the most unlikely of circumstances and how each of their broken pieces mends each others. This is a heart wrencher of a story not for the faint hearted but beautifully written xxx

This book was an emotional roller coaster. Bella is suffering from the loss of her boyfriend. It was a freak accident that she watched happen and has blamed herself everyday. She thought she could have saved him but later in the book something is revealed which shocks me about what happened to her boyfriend Harlan that died. She carried the burden of his death with dear life which only made her want leave this world to be with Harlan in the afterlife. This is very important because she showed so many signs of being suicidal which is something Glenna presented in a way where you could understand her pain. Then one day she decides it is the final day of her life and goes to the exact place where Harlan died. Out of nowhere she hears a voice telling her I'm with you. If you jump I jump and Bella looked at this mystery guy like he was crazy. This scene reminded me of Jack and Rose on Titanic when he says if you jump I jump and Rose looks at him like he is the one that is crazy. BTW Bella's last name in the book is Rose..LOL How funny is that. Anyways, at first I am a little skeptical of Cutter because he comes out of nowhere almost like a guardian angel but possibly a serial killer...I'm just saying lol....He admits to watching her and following her around and later in the book you learn he did so much more for her than she ever realized. But it was all good. Actually it was so sweet and it only made me fall in love with him more. You watch how the relationship between them grows into something more than friendship and in a way they heal each other. Cutter has suffered a great loss as well and when he tells her his story I was crying the whole time. Just like Bella he felt responsible. Together they are complete. There are a few twists and turns in the book which I liked because it wasn't just a normal love story. I'm glad I was asked to read this for an honest review because it is a special book. Don't miss out on this heartbreaking love story.---you may need tissues for this one. I know I did.

Wow, this book surprised the hell out of me. A dark, suspenseful romance, with a twist or two, but WOW! I read through this book and I cried, I laughed, I cried some more, I got mad, I got sad, I cried some more. It turned me into an emotional wreck!
Bella Rose experiences a major loss when her boyfriend Harlan dies in a horrible accident, what makes it worse is that she blames herself, and the people in her town think she may of had something to do with it. She lives her life day by day, just going through the motions, until she can reunite with Harlan again. The day she plans to "reunite" with Harlan she is stopped by Cutter, a new guy in town. He makes her promise him one year, one year to show her that there is reason to live.
There was one scene in particular where I found it hard to read. I was literally trying to read with one eye open, thinking that it would make reading it easier. Glenna described this scene so vividly that it was so realistic. Yes, it was intense! Just a fair warning, tissues lots of tissues.
Both Cutter and Bella are broken, but through each other they start to piece each other back together, and fall in love...until *BAM* a twist and everything is sent spiraling out of control, including my emotions once again. Then finally I had my mind wrapped around what happened and *BAM* another twist.
Bella and Cutter's love isn't conventional to say the least, they are each battling their own demons while trying to repair the other. They go through hell and back, but will their love survive? Can two wandering souls make each other whole? You MUST read I'm With You to find out for yourself. Trust me you will not be disappointed...emotionally drained yes, disappointed no.
This is Glenna's best work to date, but it seems I say that with each book she puts out. She keeps getting better and better.

I’m With You is an amazingly intense romantic suspense that is written with the humor of something along the lines of Bridget Jones’ Diary. Glenna Maynard has the ability to bring her heroines into the present day, make them real and hilarious. You can’t help but relate to Bella Rose, and her inner dialog will have you rolling on the floor. The humor is nice addition in a plot that is also dark and twisted at times. Cutter was charming but also felt genuine. The supporting characters were wonderful too. Gram being my favorite, I could hear her in my head. And the sex scenes were passionate, raw – and well you’ll just have to read and find out.
I was so impressed with this book. Reading this, I felt like I was in Cold Creek Falls on the bridge with Bella. The tale draws you in and doesn't let you go until the end. The story takes you on an emotional rollercoaster that will have you laughing, loving and well, to be honest, crying your eyes out. Even though I knew the ending, the book had me crying – that is how well it is written. The author makes you really feel for the characters, for their heartaches and for their happiness. Bella and Cutter’s story deal with the unfortunate aftermath of tragedy. They are the ones that have survived, but are broken because of their loss. These two come together to heal one another, but then the story takes a turn that will leave you breathless. There is so much happening in this book, just how I like them! There is so much I would like to say, but I hate spoilers and won't give any...I will not give it away, but the ending left me smiling. I truly loved this book!

Gripping romance with a paranormal twist; my fav. Cutter is my man. He gives Bella exactly what she needs to help her cope with her depression after watching her kind-of boyfriend fall to his death. Add to that the boyfriend has a twin brother and you just know there is going to be trouble.
The emotions in this story go way beyond the mental anguish one suffers when dealing with a sudden death. It delves deeper into Bella's mind, sharing her innermost fears and feelings, and exposing her tendencies to injure herself physically. She blames herself for the death of Harlan and cuts herself intentionally in an attempt to bleed out the guilt, release the poison surrounding her heart and to make her feel something for a change; anything.
Cutter makes her feel in a whole new way. I loved that.
If you can handle vulgar language and emotional torture from following Bella's suicidal notions, then you should give this story a try. Be prepared for a twist that'll rip out your heart; but Glenna will put it back together with duck tape, so it's all good. ;)

Glenna Maynard concocts a storm of emotions for me as her main character Bella, desperately moves through each day plummeting into the depths of despaired and situational depression. I've often found in books that the pain of depression is lightly touched on or over dramatized. I feel like the author did a fantastic job of bringing the actual anguish someone would experience across to readers. Bella meets Cutter just at the moment she needs someone the most. Will he help her through the turbulence or add to the confusion of her complicated life? Gahhh! I wish we could all just sit down and talk about this amazing book because I want to spill the beans! On the erotic edge of darkness and love all twisted up in one fantastic read.
This author isn't afraid to touch several "taboo" topics which I think is fantastic. I'm With You is dark, edgy, sexy and raw. I loved this book and will defiantly recommend to readers. My rating is 5 Stars!

I give I’m With You by Glenna Maynard 5 stars!!!
Wow ,just wow, this is an amazing story!! I love Cutter and Bell’s story. I know one thing I sure wasn’t expecting all of the twists and turns. Every book I read by this author just keeps getting better, and better. I connected with the characters really well, I felt like I was there inside of the story , watching it unfold. I loved, loved , this story line , it was original by far. Omg, I would love to meet Cutter in real life, especially his magic tongue. This had a lot of good , steamy parts too. It was very suspenseful , there was just a right amount of creepiness in this story too. It was a very upbeat story line, not to draggy. I could visualize the scenery too. I can’t wait for more to come, please tell more there will be more

It's amazing how life works. There are so many ups and downs, mistakes, victories,...... But things happen for a reason, and people are put into your life for a purpose. Bella has to find this out the hard way. After a horrible accident, her life is turned upside down leaving her questioning whether or not she wants to go on. When a man in a blue sweatshirt decides to interfere with Bella's "big plan," Bella and "cutter" decide to make a plan of their own. Throughout their time together they learn to love and let go and discover some things that will fully let them heal.
This book was well written and entertaining. I loved how you truly felt all of Bella's emotions like you were experiencing them with her. And cutter-ryan... Omg hot hot hot!

At half way through this book i was only going to give this book two stars but decided to finish reading it anyway. Bella lost the love of her life and has not been able to move past it. Suffering from depression and destructive habits she is ready to end it all. Cutter literally pulls her back from the edge and they make a deal that she'll wait a year. Its a really deep story that takes the reader on the journey of getting over losing a loved one, and the depression that accompanies it. i have to say that towards the end i had several hand over mouth moments, and thought it was great how the author pulled all the story lines together.

Not many people can stomach or enjoy a read that is dark. If you're one of them then don't read this. Some people would say this is a sick read and it might be but it touches realistic issues.
Within this read you will find pain, loss, love, forgiveness and hope. I love that this book was not all cuddly bears and roses. It's touched dark issues and it followed through. And it has so many twists and turns that I really wasn't expecting. It was a thriller, it was a love story, it was a story of redemption. Nice standalone read in single POV by the heroine. This was a great read

WOW!!! This story is just WOW! I was completely drawn into this book on the first page and oh the emotions I went through. I felt everything – the good, the bad, the ugly, and the amazing. This story honestly touched me deep in my soul. The suspense, the brokenness, the hurt, the pain, the healing, and the love, you truly feel it all with Bella and Cutter. These two and their story will stay with me, they have buried themselves deep in my heart – two broken souls who healed each other.

I really liked this book. You get it all. A laugh, a cry, intimacy, suspense and surprises. Two people with similar problems find each other to heal each other. But it certainly isn't an easy road, the obstacles are overwhelming and they have to fight hard to overcome them. A very intense story with amazing emotions. This is the first book I've read from Glenna Maynard and I am curious about her other work. Well done and a great read. Loved it.

Wow i have never read anything from this author before and i cant wait to read more. I downloaded this when it was free as it sounded really good, this was more then good it was fantastic. Bit of a dark read with some sensitive intense moments which had my emotions all over the place. This was such a great find and the story just blew me away.

Love the POV in this book!! Bella is a straight up kinda girl with tons of issues, and meets someone who changes her life for the better!! Unexpected twist at the end that I did not see coming!! 5 stars!

I didn't think I would like this book because of the paranormal things ppl were saying about it. It turns out to be a good book I laughed and cryed all the way through. If you like love stories this a must read.

Took a little bit to get hooked into reading but then I couldn't put the book down. A great story of hope and love. I like the story telling abilities of the author. Really brings out your emotions while reading. I loved the banter between Cutter and Bella...Great chemistry.

Wow, what a awesome read. Kinda of a dark romance with a mystery thrown in. Cutter and Bella has such tragedy not heir lives and they meet at the right time to help heal each other. I don't want to give any spoilers. It is truly an emotional read.

I really enjoyed this one. I totally would of given it 5 stars but man it had lots of typos. The story and the characters were awesome and I really loved Bella and Ryan. (Sorry I can't call him Cutter) I'm super glad they got their H.E.A. <3

Wow. This is an amazing story. It's a HEA with a major twist that I.didn't see coming. It's a wonderfully story of two people lost on this world finding their way home . . . To each other but there is something getting in the way.

loved loved this book excellent reading and writing. Did not want this story to end keep me emotionally interesting kept me wanting more and more.. Its so a good read and reread

Great read. Loved this book. I would recommend this book to anyone who has loved and lost and loved again. I loved the mystery aspect, kept me wondering.
