I took this lame sex ed class and want my money back, professor!
I’m reading a bunch of books set in kink clubs for a list of romance novel Dungeons I’m working on. Why? I was curious if there were other authors like the ones I loved that were set in kink clubs. I’ve found some great ones; but then there are books like this one.
Sex Education takes place in a kink club called Radiant in Pittsburgh. And I have to say it’s gawdawful. Don’t even.
Steven, our Dom professor, is immediately fascinated by shy, awkward Sierra. He has no teaching skills and no self control so the classes have no actual instruction. The classes are either Sierra’s classmates gangbanging her, or Sierra and the professor just going at it in front of the class with no lecture at all. “Hey, we’re learning masturbation today, everyone watch Sierra do it and get yourself off on your own.” I’m not kidding.
I want my money back. No ethics of consent, aftercare is an afterthought, and no condoms even tho it’s clear in the last chapters that Steven has no idea if she’s on birth control or not. Oh, and the last class is Breeding 101 with an A+ if you get your partner pregnant.
There *are* books that do Sex 101 right. Books that tell the story of an inexperienced person who decides to take a course on sex, sensuality, and/or BDSM and it is life-changing to have confidence in your sexuality. I think a lot of romance readers wish their first intimate experience had been at the hands of an expert on sensuality. Right? Someone who understands you, who knows exactly what you need, then falls in love with you?
These books are usually steamy chapter after steamy chapter of classes on different sexual skills. Needless to say these “instructional“ books are always 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️. It’s delicious to be able to take these classes as a reader. I suspect most of us will learn something too 😇.
If you want scorching hot Sex 101 books that get it right I highly recommend Elodie Hart’s Unfurl, , and Golden Angel’s The Venus School.

OVERALL: Sweet story - tears/emotions - great characters - HOT sexy times - low angst - not your typical professor/student story - Highly recommend
PROS:
1. Although both had personal issues/baggage, they were both likeable and relatable. Sierra had an amazing personality and she's submissive during sexy times but not a doormat and not whiny. Steven was controlling and dominant during sexy times, but thoughtful, genuine, and made sure there was aftercare.
2. Lots, and I mean LOTS of sexy times especially in the beginning chapters, but there's also a good story and backstory. Might need a tissue or two - for your leaky eyes.
3. Epilogue is a must read (with newsletter sign up), gives it a nice finishing touch
CONS:
1. Epilogue only available with newsletter sign up; story felt incomplete without it. I loved the epilogue but wish I didn't have to take extra steps just to read it.
2. What happened to Sierra's persistent ex, Luke Carls? After running into him at a sex club, exchanging some dialogue and putting on a show, he just disappeared and wasn't mentioned again.

What the heck?
Spoilers so be prepared!
Sierra is a virgin and signs up for a sex Ed class because her ex told her she was bad at blow jobs. Well the teacher is a hot guy who owns a sex club and decides he likes her. She loses her virginity in front of the entire class to him and then he proceeds to let every guy in the class have sex with her. No condoms, or birth control to be seen. She then immediately becomes a greedy little sex whore because who wouldn’t right after losing their virginity?
Fast forward like 3 weeks and the teacher is quickly head over heels. The writing feels stiff and the dialogue does not sound like normal banter.
Fast forward another few weeks of him nailing her in front of the class and now kinda dating her and he decides he wants to “breed” her. So for the last class project students are told they to get an A they must get their partner pregnant. It’s only then we find out she has an IUD, thank goodness or no telling who she would have been knocked up by. So now this 40 something year old professor of a sex class is trying knock up his student who is in college, as well as have an entire class of college kids get knocked up.
If you ignore the horrible storyline and just focus on the smut then it’s not that bad, but geez I rolled my eyes more times than I could count in this book.

Sierra is a shy girl but Steve picks up that and tried to bring her out of her shell.Every page you read you found out more about both of their lives and I love that they both open up to each other and that they are not alone
The story flows really well and and well written.

Was sad that I course the bonus epilogue as it's on Ream.

I may upset the apple cart here, but this isnt one of Emilia's better books im afraid. As always you can expect a lot of spice, but unfortunately, unlike her other stories, there isnt much of a storyline and is basically just porn (if youre using the story for this purpose then this would be 5 stars). The language and descriptions used is repetitive and there isnt much depth to the characters despite trying to pull in sympathy for childhoods, it wasnt greatly explored. If i am being honest it reminded me of a poor version of 50 shades where little true meaning to BDSM relationships is given. It felt very rushed with many situations and characters feeling unrealistic. I really enjoyed Emilia's paranormal and mafia stories as alongside the smut there is a story, this one just wasnt for me im afraid.

This was a quick fun read!!! Yes, it’s mostly smut, but has a cute little backstory with some plot. The characters were super likable!! Loved the age-gap, billionaire MMC, BDSM, virgin submisisve FMC tropes and the spice was off the charts! 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🥵 First time reading this author, and will definitely read more!! This is book 1 of the Club Radiant series and you deff get a glimpse of what’s to come in the future books! Can’t wait!
Downside: you have to sign up for her newsletter to read the epilogue so it felt very much like a cliffhanger ending bc I dk badly wanted to see what the future held for the characters.
OVERALL would recommend this to all the SMUT lovers. You won’t regret it!!!!

I saw the blurb and instantly knew I had to read this book.
This was my first book by Emilia Rose, and it definitely won’t be my last.

OMG OMG OMG!!! This book!! This book is going to have me in a book hangover for a bit! I just don’t even know where to begin with this book!!! Age gap, teacher/student, BDSM? Like OMG!! The fact that Sierra is a virgin when she signed up for this class and experiences all she does by the end is just mindblowing!! The way Steven is obsessed with Sierra is majorly hot!! What I wouldn’t do to go back and read this book from the beginning for the first time again?! Literally devoured this book and can’t wait for the next one!!

Just wow. If you're after a book with heavy HEAVY spice and some plot then this is for you! There is a spicy scene almost every chapter I think!
I absolutely loved this book. I devoured it in one sitting, I stayed up until 2am to finish it because I just couldn't put it down. It was such an easy read.
This book does mention adoption, family death and feeling alone, please bear that in mind.
Overall this was a very good read and I loved it!

Wow was this book spicy (like melt my Kindle spicy)! Sierra arrives at Club Radiant and meets Professor Steven Patton, her new teacher for a class in all things bedroom. Sparks fly in and out of class for Sierra and Steven and we as readers are all the better for it. This book is a whirlwind (verging on insta-love) but I still really connected with both characters. Emilia Rose has such a way of giving major spice but also depth to her characters. What a way to start the New Year and I can’t wait to see more from this series!

Sierra decided to educate herself in all things related to sex. Walking into Club Radiant to start her sex education classes she realizes that she’s the only one without a partner. Luckily for her, Steven the professor takes her under his wing. And not only is Steven the teacher he’s part owner of the club. The attraction is instant between them and I loved their chemistry. I was a little surprised as to how fast Sierra went from shy, basically inexperienced to completing the demonstrations infront of the class each week.

Im all for a lot of spice and minimal plot but this was horrible
The spice was so unrealistic and cringey

The professors first lesson is just impaling this young virgin in front of everyone and like 2 days later lets an entire room have a go at her with no conversation or prior consent?
Like hard to believe even in a fantasy world
It only got more cringe with terrible dialogue and weird plot
Could have been a good concept but the execution made this difficult to read without constant eye rolls

3: Be warned of the after effects of reading this and going down the rabbit hole as you’ll NEVER want to climb out of Radiant again!
4: I hope you have damn good b!rth control because there is a VERY high chance your going to get 🤰from words alone!!!
I can’t wait to read the next one!!

Another steamy book by this great author, she certainly knows how to write her smut.
This was a great read, and if you enjoy BDSM older/professor/student read, this book will be right down your ally. I enjoyed this read and read it in one sitting. Love Sierra's and Stevens' story and how their relationship grew through the book the whole professor/student storyline worked well. Certainly alot of steam between the two. You do not want to miss out on this read.

I had to think a little bit about what I was gonna say in my review. I won't go into details because I'm afraid to spoil anything. So, I'll just say be prepared for a very dirty and delicious read. Full of spice, drama and some feelings throughout.

This is not your typical teacher / student romance. It's a whole lot steamier. Yet I found it even sweeter than so many I've read in the past. It was low on the drama scale and high on growth and character development.
The characters were also fun, which hey it's fiction fun in a book is something I love. I would definitely come back to Club Radiant to visit any of the couples or friends we met.

Pure filth
Sierra is a college student who signs up for a sex education class at an adult club. There, she meets Steven. The older but hot in all of the best ways teacher. He not only takes her virginity, her also takes away her inhibitions, her fear and doubts. The story is pure filth. Every chapter is dedicated to teaching her and an entire classroom about sex, how to do it, make it feel good, and bring enjoyment to your partner. The book is not for the prudish type. Lol

4 stars but willing to move to a 4.5. Character development was a bit chaotic in the beginning and found it hard to understand the main character(s) motivation so was at first, frustrated. Things became more clear as the story progressed but still questioned why the female character made the choices she first made in the beginning. WOW. The story is incredibly steamy and spicy! The sweetness toward the end made the story worthwhile foe me.

What a steamy story! I absolutely loved this one! The way the characters came together, the way the story played out was so well put together. The chemistry and the sexual tension between these two was great! I especially loved the way the ending played out! Wow! Can’t wait for another one! Great work!

i received an ARC from the author and ohmygod this was hot
it was actually a little different than the usual smut but it was so unsubtle and in your face i loved it. if you want mindless but good smut, emilia rose is a great choice.
while the backstories of the fmc and mmc are given, they are not detailed and you can really enjoy the smut in every single book of hers

Emilia does it again! I will devour anything from this author! She makes you fall in love with her characters and their stories, and this one was *chef's kiss* Sierra and Steven's story is spicy,so spicy, and I am here for it.

The spice is spicing in this book!!! 🌶🌶🌶🥵🥵🥵 Not much to the story line. A girl takes a shmex education class at a shmex club, and falls for the "professor", who is one of 3 owners of the club. The growth and development of the characters was something really good to see. It was a good read. I'll definitely be reading the next books, because I have to know what's going to happen next!

This was extremely smutty and I was here for it! There were so many aspects of this book that bordered on taboo. To be honest it was more smut but substance, but the smut was unreal, so well written, descriptions were on point and hot AF! Graphic, steamy and a bit unhinged. If you’re in the mood for that, read this book!
