Cute story of a dog who becomes famous for his amazing sniffing abilities. When his nose becomes damaged in an accident, it's discovered that his newly pleated schnozz creates beautiful music.

Fun, and inspiring to all those contemplating a second act.

Enjoyed on Internet Archive. Funny. Love the homage to John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever. John Stadler has at least one other Reading Rainbow book, btw. This one has *lots* of expansion activities and more to read. If I were reading it as a child I'd probably give it four stars.
