This book is "just right" for me. Starts out kind of basic, but climbs steadily. Only a third of the way through, I am learning a lot of new stuff without feeling like I am drowning. I will listen to this many times.

Of all the audio language learning courses that I have used this one is by far the best. I felt like it moved along at an appropriate pace and they made sure to re-introduce words at the appropriate times so that you didnt forget all about them. I did not use the accompanying workbook for this course because i was using duolingo as well already so I cannot comment on that - I will say that it ended up following along nearly perfectly with my lessons on duo though which was an added bonus since I do think it is necessary to have additional learning material (reading and writing) in addition to audio in order to learn any language.

I’ve renewed this book at least five times. The premise is simple: listen To the English sentence, speak it in French, listen to the correct French, repeat. some of the lessons are dated, particularly Internet, related ones, but overall, it’s pretty useful.
