This true crime book said it was told by the wife but it goes back and forth between the wife's voice and the writer's voice. It was a little strange to read a few paragraph's by the author and then have a paragraph or two written in italics with the wife's voice and sometimes someone else. It is a heartbreaking story but at 500 pages I think it could have been condensed quite a bit and the last two hundred pages are word for word courtroom testimony of what we already know.

It unimaginative that someone could take the stand in their own defense and think with all the inconsistencies in their story be found not guilty. He was a good con artist who finally got what he deserved
