The cross counter punch. Now that's how you write a sports manga and this is pretty much the first sports manga anway! Phenomenal.

The lengthy fight here between Joe and Rikishi really takes things up a notch and leaves my mouth watering as to where it will go next (I know though, I've seen the first anime series). I complained about the art in volume one but all complaints are left way behind as the detail seems to really be taking center stage in the more dramatically crucial moments now, creating a really approprate brooding and murky atmosphere.

Après deux premiers tomes posant le contexte, on entre de dans le vif du sujet. Les personnages commencent à prendre de l'épaisseur et l'intrigue se noue. J'ai encore un peu de mal avec le ton et l'intérêt que peuvent avoir certains personnages, mais tout doucement une ambiance se pose.

Pretty decent manga, the story wasn’t to great and a little dull but the boxing matches were really great and awesome especially the final one😻👌🥊🥊
