This manga is maybe the best teacher x student ones I've read so far, not something too annoying, not the typical ones and feel realistic. Well yes it's cliche and predictable, but it's also very cute and adorable at the same time... I love what Ito says about the ferris wheel jinx. I thought
It's not the best manga that I've ever read, but it's worth the time, indeed. I love it so much that I reread it 2 times, lol. =)
Gambarnya sebenarnya lumayan bagus. Tapi gak tahu kenapa kadang gak konsisten. Ada kalanya muka tokohnya tuh 'aneh' bentuknya.... ^^; Jadi yang harusnya cakep jadi jelek. Garis wajahnya berantakan gitu kayak gambar orang baru belajar bikin komik. Sayang sekali....
Makanya tadi kupikir ini pengarang baru, masih perdana.. Eh pas ini barusan cek di gudrids, lahhh... komik karyanya dah banyak bangetttt, ada kali 20-30 buku :/ Tapi kenapa gambarnya terkadang masih gak rapi gitu yak??
Untuk cerita... salah satunya klise lah khas komik jepang... Cinta antara murid dan guru :/ Judul komiknya ni aja "Sensei I once Loved."
Lama-lama aku jadi mikir.. di Jepang emangnya sering begitu ya? Ada cinta antara murid dan guru? Soalnya komik mereka kisahnya selalu begitu.. :/
Only the first story (which takes 2 chapters) is about a student-teacher relationship. Not my kind of story, but this one was more mature, more realistic. The other stories are about girls with their sempais. All of them were sweet and not cheesy.
YUUUSSSS FINALLY A SHOUJO TEACHER AND STUDENT ROMANCE WHERE THE GIRL ISNT SOME WEAKLING AND THE GUY ISNT SOME PERVERT.
There are 3 stories within this manga (the one I read anyways) AND I LOVED ALL OF THEM.
The first story with the teacher x student romance, was not cliche, and the heroine was not weak and all needing of a man by her side everywhere she went. She was mature enough to accept that she couldn't be with him, and he was (thank god) mature enough to acknowledge and respect her decision. If this was a long manga, the author could've probably drew up some problems encountered within their relationship and struggles, however it was just 2 chapters. Even that, I still really liked this manga.
Following that, there was another high school shoujo romance, where the heroine likes another male who's one year higher than her, she stares outside the window at him in every class. However, she accidentally peeps another guy being slapped by probably what she thinks a former girlfriend. He discovers that someone was watching him, and immediate associates her as a peeping girl. Their relationship starts from there, and I really, really, really liked the male protagonist. He wasn't a cocky, arrogant douchebag, and he actually fell in love with her before she ever layed eyes on him. I really liked this sweet story.
Then lastly, the final chapter is of a girl who's secretly in love with novels but hides it because she doesn't want people to think less of her. She meets a nerdy, cross dressing drama club student who's personality is... Quite absurd. I loved this story, and could somewhat relate to it.
I'm definitely gonna read more of this mangaka's work because her characters are not what you see in must shoujo mangas, which are always quite refreshing ^__^
that was such a cute manga! half way through when the teacher and student separated there ways in order to save themselves the trouble, i was like nooooooooo this is not how a manga can end, but finally the real ending was amazing and unique. no would have seen that coming, forbidden love was portrayed amazingly!
My shoujomangathon continues! The title story was the least interesting but it was still fine, I guess. I quite liked the other shorts in this volume! Cute stories, decent art.
It basically a teacher-student relationship but it is more realistic. I really like how the plot in the was laid out. The characters aren't stereotyped as well.
Of all the teacher x student relationship that I've read in the manga, I think this is what I liked the most. It's believable and ethically correct (lels!) hahaha!
