The tales in this book are snapshots of an unnecessary journey, undertaken by a man who did not need to go anywhere. He went in order to help people who did not want to be helped, to give them something they already had. He irritated them so badly that 99 percent of them wanted him silenced. But the remaining one percent loved him, bowed down to him and thanked him for coming. I am one of those. This is my story. This is my dance with a madman. I hope you enjoy it.
A genuine book written in an easy to read format, any one who is interested on Osho can read to get some understanding about one of the real modern day mystics
With great interest, I purchased this book hoping to get an idea of just who Osho was to those who were close to him. All prior knowledge I possessed was courtesy of those who called him a fraud, dangerous cult leader, demon, deceiver, and even a criminal. And, after reading I have decided that all of these are incorrect, but, then again, entirely possible.
Yet, I am completely convinced that this man did what he did without a hint of selfish intention. Rather, he was entirely invested in helping his disciples (and others who would listen) to see the absurdity of their current state and the possibility of a better existence.
The book is well written and difficult to put down. I wish I had been blessed with the opportunity to sit at the feet of this "madman."
This is a quick and interesting read. Written by a political journalist so there is a lot of references to world politics of that time if you can bear. Linkages to Lady Gaga seems to be little out of place and publicity gimmick. But I liked the overall style of story-telling and kept me hooked for three days till I finished.
I came to know the tip of iceberg of Rajneesh empire. What was happening at that time, but still could not get all.The deep secrets of Rajneesh. Yet the secret is not revealed. I would like to read more such books.
