Are you a little confused about who or what the Holy Spirit is and the role of the Spirit in your life and the church? Wondering whether or not you've "got it"? This book, which examines the person and work of the Spirit in both the Old Testament and the New, definitively answers those questions. You'll learn about the Holy Spirit before Christ was baptized, how He was manifest in the life and ministry of Jesus, what happened at Pentecost and how He is at work in our lives today. Learn how to be filled with the Holy Spirit and how you can be a channel of God's love, which is at the heart of the manifestation and exercise of spiritual gifts.

Every believer should read this book. Its is non-denominational and completely biblical. No matter what your background or experience, this study will enhance your understanding and exercise of your spiritual birthright in Christ Jesus.

LEARN HOW GOD USES THE HOLY SPIRIT IN OUR LIVES AND HOW TO WALK IN THE SPIRIT ALL THE TIME WHILE KEEPING YOUR MIND ON THE LORD. THE HOLY SPIRIT NEEDS TO BE EMBRACED IF WE ARE EVER TO BE CHANGED INTO MATURE CHRISTIANS. IF WE WILL SEEK, ASK, KNOCK AND CONTIUALLY SEEK GOD FOR THE SPIRIT YOU CAN BE TRANSFORMED BY THE RENEWING OF YOUR MINDS.

Lord Jesus, I’m thirsty for the fullness of Your Holy Spirit. I present my body to You as a temple and my members as instruments of righteousness, especially my tongue, the member I cannot tame. Fill me, I pray, and let Your Holy Spirit flow through my lips in rivers of praise and worship. Amen. If you prayed that prayer sincerely, it has been heard, and the results are on the way. You may be quite surprised at the fullness of what you will receive.

Well researched, studied and written. When I was a little girl, I’ve been so afraid of the Holy Spirit because of the mortal sin thing. And I was surprised that other kids and people don’t know about it. After praying and studying, the Holy Spirit has been my counselor and I understand a lot of things. It’s true that the “Fear of God is the beginning of wisdom”, then true love follows.

Great Book

Really good book. More in this little book about the Holy Spirit than I’ve heard in a lifetime in Baptist churches. It’s really a simple read.

I would actually recommend this book, and that's a first by Derek Prince. It's not perfect in any way, he still writes too casually and has some less good moments, but all in all, this is a solid book about The Holy Spirit. My edition contains first parts of Derek Prince educational material on The Holy Spirit and then the book itself. Maybe that's why I like it - it's more educational. I learned a few things here. For instance, he noticed that sometimes The Holy Spirit is with "The" and sometimes only "Holy Spirit" and show examples on where it is used, which actually may have implications on how you would interpret a verse. He does not, however, go deeper into these implications so it felt a little bit shortcutted.

"The Holy Spirit is the revelator and interpreter of the Word of God." ~ Derek Prince, "The Holy Spirit In You", p. 45

This book is about the Holy Spirit and how He operates in our life. I don't think this book is exhaustive on the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives, as the fruits and the gifts of the Holy Spirit were not taught on much. However, there was something to be learned in this book and even be reminded of.

Very good general overview of the topic

I have been a fan of Derek Prince on youtube for awhile, but this is the first book of his that I read. It is the same straight-ahead, simple language, bible-centered style he uses in his recorded material. This book is a very good general overview of the topic.

Continued from Derek Prince Book "Experiencing God' Power"

I wish to state that the views expressed here are my own and that as much as i, personally, believe 100% in its portent, that it is hoped and encouraged that anyone who might be reading said posts, or even if they are searching for Truth in general, that they should 'always' seek their own answers ie do their own research.

And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and 'replenish' the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Genesis 1:28

Very telling that the word 'replenish' is used here, as in the context of 're-filling' the earth, for plenish means 'to fill'.......you decide.

"And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they were to be written every one, i suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written" john 21:25

Please ponder and consider over this incredibly profound Bible verse, as it is my own understanding that the Word of God, which is the Holy Bible narrative, is 100% True in as much as it means what it says and says what means.
So, that said, then just how do we reconcile the above verse to fit in within our world today, with it's current scientifically held understanding of how things supposedly operate here on this earth according to its mainstream teachings?
Well, it quite frankly makes no sense in our so-called reality (let's be honest), unless you have a scientific mind that understands something about quantum physics, or have a better understanding of the para-normal ie supernatural, such as the "supernatural power of Almighty God" and the many miracles of the Holy Bible that bear testimony to this supernatural power, then you might well be more open to this most profound of Bible verses (i know i am) and most especially if you are blessed with Faith.

"The thing that hath been, it 'is' that which shall be; and that which is done 'is' that which shall be done: and 'there is' no new 'thing' under the sun.
Is there 'any' thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us."
Ecclesiastes 1:9-10
Again, please consider carefully this amazingly insightful verse, as it clearly informs the reader (in my own honest opinion) that there is absolutely nothing that can possibly be imagined by anyone today that has not already been thought of before in some previous age/time-line.

What is the Bible verse John 14:1-6 alluding to when Jesus states;
"Let not your heart be troubled: you believe in God, believe also in Me.
In My Fathers house are 'many' mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
And if I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto Myself; that where I am, ye may be also.
And whither I go ye know, and the 'way' ye know.
Thomas saith unto Jesus, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the 'way?'
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the Truth, and the life, no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me" Amen.
It is my own personal belief that the Lord Jesus is preparing us just 'one' of many ie an infinite number of possible 'habitats/dwelling-places' for those blessed enough to find themselves included in the Lamb' Book of Life, that is to say, those 'few' people who manage to 'pass the test' and overcome, through being Christ-like ie without sin and without blemish/spot (i believe 'few' will make it into the kingdom of heaven, as per Bible verse Matthew 7:13-14).
Please read Scripture verse Revelation 2:10 and 3:10, James 1:2, I Peter 3:8-22, Matthew 24:13.

"There is 'no' remembrance of former things; neither shall there be any remembrance of things to come with those that shall come after" Ecclesiastes 1:11

"For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; and the former shall not be remembered, nor come to mind" Isaiah 65:17

I guess the key question here is 'why' would there be a need to remember (or not) the former heavens and earth (world) if it is going to be destroyed?
It is my belief that there will be an equal amount of people who make it into the kingdom of heaven, and the same number again, those deemed the most wicked, will end up in the 'pit being dug for them' as per Psalm 94:12-13.
The rest of the world, including those deemed 'luke-warm' will go into what is termed as 'the lake of fire', which i believe is place where these souls will be given a chance to 'pass the test' again, hence these Bible verses above.
This is of course pure conjecture on my part, but i do suspect it (or something very similar to it), to be True.
Note: for anyone who believes that the 'pit' is hell, then please read Revelation 20:14, as death and hell are cast into the lake of fire in this verse (death and hell are very likely actual persons/beings).

"Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting, and to everlasting. Amen, and Amen" Psalm 41:13 (Psalm 90:2 and 103:17)

The text 'everlasting unto everlasting' in my own humble and honest opinion strongly suggests from one age to the next, that is to say, from one creation to the next, leastways, this is what these verses strongly imply to myself, and try as i might, i cant think of anything else that these verses 'are' in relation to other than the rather 'obvious'.......you decide.

"Through faith we understand 'worlds' were framed by the Word of God, so that things which are seen were not made by things which do appear" Hebrews 11:3

"Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the 'worlds'" Hebrews 1:2

I guess what i am hinting at here is rather obvious with the pluralisation of the term world, to worlds.
Furthermore, the word world is used in a singular sense elsewhere in the Book of Hebrews, so there is no mistake that our Creator Father is referring to more than one world in these verses, i personally believe multiple worlds.
Note: for anyone out there who might possibly believe that these verses are in ref to the so-called planets, then again, i promise you faithfully that there are 'no' planets, or what is commonly termed as space, or galaxies, or even fiendish looking little grey/green aliens darting about in space-craft.
Try looking a little closer at what you currently believe to be True, for if your objective is to earnestly and sincerely find Truth, then this undertaking should be that much easier to achieve and i wish you the Good Lord' blessings if you do decide to do just this (it worked for myself).
It is 'only' in the Vulgate Bible (Latin) that the word planet is first mentioned, and the Latin language, which originally was made up of No:23 letters, and with a numbering system totaling up to 666, and of which the (Un)holy Roman Empire was identified as the 4th Prophetic Beast in the Book of Daniel, and whereby it was revealed to myself that the 5th Prophetic Beast is the Roman Catholic Church with its many, many deviations from the Word of God, from changing Almighty God' laws to praying to idols (the list of deviations is a long one and set to get longer still, very soon i believe).
The planets Venus and Saturn are mentioned in the Vulgate Bible, both of which are direct references to Satan the devil and Hermiticism ie dualism, the "as above, so below" doctrine of Freemasonry, the enemy of God.

"One generation passeth away, and another generation cometh: but the 'earth' abideth forever" Ecclesiastes 1:4

"Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed forever" Psalm 104:5

"Of 'old' hast Thou laid the foundation of the earth (not plural, one earth)" Psalm 102:25

"And, Thou, Lord, in the 'beginning' hast laid the foundation of the earth" Hebrews 1:10

"They shall perish; but Thou remainest; and they all (the heavens and earth) shall wax old as doth a garment;
And as a vesture shalt Thou fold them up, and they shall be 'changed:'" Hebrews 11:11-12

I believe these verses to be self-explanatory, but would add that the verse "wax old like a garment" would neatly explain why some parts of the world do, in fact, look to be very, very old (as deemed by the experts ie geophysicists, not myself).......you decide.

"Thy seed shall be as numerous as the stars, sand and dust of the earth" Genesis 22:17 and 13:16

"I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth, so that if any man can number the dust of the earth, 'then' shall thy seed also be numbered" Genesis 13:16

"That in blessing will I bless thee, and in multiplying will I multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gates of thy enemies" Genesis 22:17

Please read and consider carefully the verse Genesis 13:16, as it quite clearly states that if it were possible to count the dust of the earth, 'then' shall thy seed also be numbered.......again, as in John 21:25, quite incredible in my honest opinion as this is clearly what is implied and 'only' makes sense if there were indeed an infinite number of worlds, be it both past, present and yet to come (forever ie Hebrews 13:8, Amen).

I believe the 'stars' are in reference to 'the few' who make it to the kingdom heaven (Job 38:7 - Romans 8:24 - John 1:12), as there are reliably observed only around 5,000 or so stars seen with the naked eye maximum at any 'one' given time in the night sky (so rather surprisingly(?) not too many).......i also further believe that those deemed 'saved' by the Holy Bible in verses Romans 10:9-10 - 1 Corinthians 15:2 - Ephesians 2:5 are 'only' saved if they also 'overcome' ie endure to the end.
These people deemed 'saved' are the ones whom avoid the prophecied 'lake of fire' in Revelation, and so will get 'another' chance to 'shine again', unlike those who do not confess Jesus Christ.
I further believe that the sand of the sea/sea shore, is in reference to the 'many' billions of people in just 'one' world ie time-line, or to put it in a Scriptural sense, "from one everlasting to the next."
This, again, is pure conjecture on my part, but i also, again, believe it to be True (unless someone has a better/more convincing idea of what this Scripture is alluding to?)
Note: with reference to verse Genesis 22:17 and the statement, "thou shalt possess the 'gates' of thy enemies".......the 'gates' being referred to here are the Panama Canal and Suez Canal, both were owned and possessed until recently by the USA and U.K, who have been identified as the 'lost tribes' of Manasseh and Ephraim by Herbert W Armstrong in his very informative booklet, Who Are The USA and U.K. In Bible Prophecy? which is free to read online at HWAlibrary.com
I noticed that both Ephraim and the tribe of Dan were absent ie were 'not' included in the 12 tribes listed in the 'final' Book of the Holy Bible, that of Revelation.
I believe we (the UK) will be the subject of the wrath of God very soon, poss imminently, as Almighty God 'overlooked' Ephraim (for being very ungodly in their conduct) in favour of the tribe of Judah, to carry the bloodline/house of the Lion of Judah, that of the Biblically prophecied Messiah, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Note: i was compelled to take another look at the first 13 chapters of the Book of Revelation earlier today, that is, until i reached Revelation 13:1,

"And I stood upon the 'sand of the sea', and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the names of blasphemy"

Now, please compare the above verse to those of Hosea 1:10-11,

"Yet the number of thy children 0f Israel shall be as the 'sand of the sea', which cannot be measured or numbered;
And in the place where it is said to them, Ye are not my people, there it shall be said unto them, Ye are the sons of the living God.
Then shall the children of Judah and the children of Israel be gathered together, and appoint themselves one head, and they shall come up out of the land: for great shall be the day of Jezreel"

Now, for those not farmiliar with the Prophet Hosea, he was commanded by Almighty God to marry himself a 'prostitute', who was named Gomer.
They conceived a son and named him Jezreel, after the Valley of Jezreel, the scene of many ancient battles, to include that of the Israelites of Gideon against a coalition of Midianites, Amalakites and the Children of the East, as per the Book of Judges 6:3.
Then, sometime later under King Saul, the first anointed King of Israel who was rejected by Almighty God for being 'rebellious' ie disobedient, and whereby he (King Saul), lost the Ark of the Covenant to the Philistines, as per 1 Samuel 29:1-6.
This Valley of Jezreel is located near Jerusalem and is also now known as Magiddo (where the Prophecied battle of Armageddon is set to take place).
Then Hosea' wife Gomer conceived a girl, whom they named Loruhamah, meaning 'not shown mercy', and then another girl named Loammi, the meaning of which is 'not My people'.
These names are in reference to the House of Israel, whom Almighty God had in mind to be taken into captivity and then dispersed to the four corners of the earth (where we get the story of the lost tribes of Israel from).
This timeline was around that of King Ahab and his wicked wife Jezebel, who so corrupted her husband King Ahab that the whole nation of Israel fell into a state of 'apostasy' through worshipping Baal, the enemy of Almighty God.
These events are relevant to today's timeline as we (the Western speaking world to be more precise ie 'the sands of the sea') are fast reaching that state of 'apostasy' in my own honest opinion, based on my own observations.
When researching the origins of the Amalakites, i was directed to a very insightful website entitled, The Bible A Book Of Truth - Explaining The Nephilim Giants.
The article uses both Scripture and that of the Book of Enoch to make a very intriguing case.
Note: the Book of Enoch was around centuries before Jesus Christ and is even refenced by Him (and others) in the Holy Bible.
The Midianites are very likely that of modern day Saudi Arabia, who are very anti-Semetic, as are many/most of the nations/tribes of antiquity and even today (let's be honest).
The Children of the East are very likely in reference to that of the Communist countries of both Russia and most especially China, who i personally believe will both have major roles to play in the coming years.
Please see further supporting Scripture below concerning this matter.

"For though thy people Israel be as the 'sand of the sea', yet a remnant of them shall return: the consumption decreed shall overflow with righteousness" Isaiah 10:22

"Elijah also crieth concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the 'sand of the sea', a remnant shall be saved" Romans 9:27

There is much verse Scripturally to substantiate that only a 'few' ie a remnant shall be saved out of the world and make it into the kingdom of heaven, as per Matthew 7:13,
And very little Scripturally speaking to substantiate that 'many' will actually be saved.

"But without faith 'it is' impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and 'that' He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him" Hebrews 11:6

"Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exorting them to continue in the Faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God" Acts 14:22

"Love.......beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things" 1 Corinthians 13:7

"And now abideth these three, Faith, Hope and Love, but the greatest of these is Love" 1 Corinthians 13:13

Please note and consider the emphasis that our Creator Father has put on the virtues of Faith, Hope, Love and Endurance.

With regards to 'watching for signs' pertaining to end time Scripture, as per Matthew 24 and Luke 21 and that of Mark 16.......i, myself, have noticed the steady flow of deceitful actions by our worlds governments with fake political agendas such as Brexit, the True purpose of which is to make us, the UK, more susseptical ie vulnerable to further planned political and economical actions, all designed to reduce the UK (and Western civilisation) to 'nothing'. Then we have fake pandemics, the True purpose of which is about 'control' of the masses through fear, and collecting data ie building profiles on everybody, not to mention facilitating the death-knoll of cash, making it that much easier to control the populace through a digitalised system, whereby a the mere touch of a button could potentially make you 'obsolete' to the world.
Then we have the fake wars, the latest one of which is no more than an excuse to hike up inflation to the extent whereby the world's poorest (the most nemurable, even in Western society) are hit the hardest.
Has anyone noticed the unbelievable amount of construction of high-rise ie multi-complex buildings as the the last 10yrs or so?
I, myself, work in this industry and have never seen anything like it on the scale being done this last decade or so (and is getting ever more busier/industrious).
There is something very, very unusual with this 'out of the blue' building of high occupancy dwellings as there is 'no' infrastructure being put in place to help sustain the expected amount of people to fill said dwellings.
It is my guess that when 'they', those 'elites' who are the real PTB behind world government today, finally crash the dollar, that we will see such panic and fear as the world has never before witnessed in our life-times.
Are you, as a professed follower of Jesus Christ and His Gospel message of hope through repentance and faith, going to be strong enough to 'resist' the panic and fear? (please read the parable of the sower for better insight here).
It is very likely that 'all' property will be expected to be 'given up' for 'the better good' of the people, as you will very likely be abiding in a communist state, disguised/made to look like socialism.

"When they are declaring peace and safety, then will sudden destruction come upon them" Amen.

"Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of Thy righteous judgements endureth forever" Psalms 119:160
So, assuming you are a True believer in the Faith ie the Holy Bible narrative of our Creator Father, the Son and Holy Ghost, then just what, exactly, do these Bible verses (as highlighted here) actually mean to yourself?

More presently.
