Marriage Contract

How can a marriage of convenience become so much more? Falling in love is the easy part. The hard part is making time together and putting each other first. Sweet romance.

Sweet

It was a quick read. Sweet. Jason isn't a "alpha" billionaire but a really good man. Strong but not a jerk. Vicky is gentle and caring. I did like the ending and the way dementia onset was handled.

Another cute story in the Colorado Billionaires series.
A marriage of convenience. Jason needs to marry before the end of the year (less than three months away) in order to remain in his grandmothers will. Something he promised his uncle, who recently passed away he would do. To think of the good he could do with all that money. So, for his uncle, he will bend to his grandmothers demands. To a point. He refuses to marry anyone she has picked out for him. He will choose his own bride.
In the last forty-eight hours, Vicky has had her world turned upside down. Her boyfriend broke up with her just before an important piano competition, potentially ruining her hopes to become a concert pianist, she is unemployed, broke, and homeless. Add in the disappointment her mother will lay on her for all of her failings. Plus the fact that her stepfather just lost yet another job and they are about to lose their house, she is a prime candidate for Jason's "marriage contract".
Throw into the mix a crazy bff, an ex boyfriend who suddenly wants to reconcile, a grandmother with a failing memory and a personal assistant who seems to be in charge of more than just her elderly employer, and you have the Wedding Venture.
I was a bit disappointed with the ending. There was a lot of build up with the "bad guy(s)" and it was never addressed. I would have like to know what happened to them.
It was a fun, quick read. Low drama, no cheating, no swearing, no sex, very PG. Each book has an HEA and no cliffhangers. It can be read as a standalone.

This is the third book of this series.
It is once again a lovely read, we have Victoria who has lost everything and Maddlyn who helps her by paying for a ticket so that she can come and stay with her for a while. Her lift at the airport is Jason Darby who has come back to visit his ageing gran whom he discovers has changed the terms of her will for him to inherit the Darby millions.
He has to find a bride by the end of the year or he will risk losing his legacy. What starts as a business arrangement very soon changes as they have to move in and help rescue his gran from certain people who want to isolate her and manipulate her decisions. Mix in Victoria's mum Elsa, the wonderful Grace and Mina and we have a thoroughly enjoyable charming read. Regina is one very talented lady with how she uses the written word to captivate me and my love of reading.

And we're back with the get married or lose your money setting. This time we combine the two previous settings in the series, he needs to get married before his birthday (like in the first one) and his grandmother already has the perfect bride, that end up being a psycho (like in the second one). This time the happy couple met before, and it wasn't a good meeting, he didn't care about her, she thought he was a jerk, but when they had the need they end up together and move closer as a team trying to save his fortune. As with all forced marriage settings, they end up liking each other and live happily ever after.

Another not so original plot, but it was a good one, in the sense that it was very fun to read.

Good Book

I enjoyed reading this but I was a little disappointed. Big build up for a small ending . Thought there would be more mystery and romance. Either would have made it a much better book.

Was a little slow

It seems everything happened in one day. They met then fall in love the end. I had high hopes for this story.

Sweet but predictable

A sweet story about love at first site and Overcoming your own fears. Reads quickly. Characters are not main stream people.

Sweet!

This was a sweet clean romance. The characters were engaging and there was even a villainess. Of course it all ends well as do all good romances.

From rags to riches, unloved to loved, this book will have you cheering one minute and in tears the next. The author has a wonderful talent of story telling, and is able to put in words, emotions that not only tell the story, but make you feel them as well. Vicky is having the worst day of her life. Not only has her "boyfriend" dumped her, he had to do it on the eve of the most important day of her career, leaving her unable to compete, all so that he could hope to have a chance of winning himself. Broke, with no job, she cries on her BFF's shoulder (over the phone of course), only to be sent for so they could discuss it all in person. But when Madz can't make it to pick her up at the airport, thanks to a broken down vehicle, she sends the "driver" of a old family friend, to pick her up. Then she gets the phone call to top it all off...she's being evicted due to non-payment. In her words "no boyfriend, no job, no money and no place to live"! What's a guy to say to that? When Jason was asked by his grandmother to pick up a musician at the airport for a friend, never could he have imagined the spitfire he ended up with. What neither of them could ever understand though, was just to what extent the part that fate was going to play in their lives. Was it a chance meeting, or were the gods smiling down on this pair of lost souls?
Beautifully written and extremely difficult to put down once you start, this book will leave you breathless.

Yes, this is good

I did want the two protagonists to get in more trouble, but it is worth the time to finish. Delightful.
