I came across a copy in a used bookstore and couldn't resist the artwork and lush paper of this 1970 Kayak chapbook. A fascinating examination of the nexus between prose poem and parable that wanders fluidly from bizarre to tender to prophetic and back again.

Phenomenal find from Drew Dillhunt; able to compare his prose poems & parables from this Kayak chap book (1970) with Fixel'sTruth, War, and The Dream-Game: Selected Prose Poems & Parables, 1966-1999. Intrigued by the editorial choices but more so by the formatting & slight wording changes.
