Jenny Chase has loved Asher McIntyre for far too long. Determined to keep their flirting at just that, she's focused on landing the acting role that will make her career. Asher is a politician through and through. With no time for relationships, he's kept his interests limited to work. No relationships. And he knows Jenny deserves that. Or so he keeps telling himself. Until a stalker takes an interest in her and makes congressman McIntyre his focus. Jenny has always been his little sister's best friend and the star of his sexiest fantasies. Now because of him, she became a target. A target he can no longer stay away from, consequences be damned. Chased, a Titan novella, brings the focus to Jenny Chase, Sugar's sister. The chemistry and intense sexual tension known to Harber novels is ever present, along side some action, ass kicking and serious testosterone. A fun read as usual…

Are you kidding me? Im not really sure where to begin with this and Im not sure how I can convey how much I love this little novella. There is SO much story packed into this novella that it makes you feel like you're reading a full length book.

Jenny Chase is Sugar's sister (we met her in Westin's Chase) and Jenny has been in love with her BFF's brother Asher McIntyre for as long as she can remember. Ash is a Politician and has been focused on himself and his career. However, he's always noticed Jenny and knew she'd be a distraction. Well, not anymore!

Holy Hotness Batman!! The characters, chemistry, the tie in with the Titan Group and the sex... just WOW! I really think Harber's writing gets better with each book.

I LOVE THE TITAN GROUP

Gotta say I just did not like either of the MCs. The story was pretty good, being so short. But I thought she was a doormat and he was a guy who liked her for years but his career was too important so he dated and fucked all he wanted until he finally decided to give her a try. I hated that she rolled over with her legs spread without any hesitation. After all she had loved him for years.

So while I hated the MCs and it is normally a plot I hate, I was ok with reading he story because I just did not care that much.

"I’ve known you most my life, sweetheart, and I’m an ass that it’s taken me this long to figure it out: I need you. I crave you. You’re a requirement to function." - Asher McIntyre

Another Titan novella - and one that could have earned more stars, though this is not Mrs. Harber's fault. It's strictly because of personal preferences.

Jenny Chase is Sugar's little sister. She's been in love with Asher McIntyre, her best friend's big brother, ever since she first saw him, but she knows the congressman does not see her in the same light she sees him. However, when a stalker of his, targets her in hopes of scaring Asher, the man she always thought so far away from her will take charge and get so close it almost seems impossible to believe. Is it too late for him to build a relationship between them? And what will happen when the stalker's threats become more than empty words?

I have to admit, the only reason I gave this one a chance was because Jenny's related to Sugar, and because I read in some reviews that you need to read this in order to fully grasp what will take place in Rocco's book. Well, I'm glad I was able to find out - and I'm really anxious to see what will happen with the big funny hunk - but I can't say I would ever re-read this book. It was fun in some parts, sexy, and full of suspense - hell, it's always a given that the story will be awesome if Cristin Harber is writing it.

But the fact remains that the main leads, no matter how interesting, couldn't do it for me. They didn't hold me on the edge of my seat like Winters and Mia, didn't make me cry like Cash and Nic, didn't have me partying when they got together like Jared and Sugar or breathing in relief the way Brock and Sarah did. They were nice, but easily forgettable.

After women like the ones in the other four books, Jenny was too... average. I expected something more from Sugar's sister, a little bit more spank. But all I got was some moves that indicated she might kow her way a little around guns, and could somehow remain calm on the outside during crisis.

Asher, too, was someone I would easily lose in a crowd - I admit, I would lose HIM much faster than Jenny, imagine that. I don't know if it's my personal dislike towards fictional male leads who are tycoons, millionaires, billionaires, freaking rich businessmen, politicians and the likes. But I do know that they make me feel sleepy the minute I realise they wear expensive suits and are pictured in magazines - guess that's why the down-and-dirty gruff exterior of the TITAN men has me so hooked, huh? In any case, I think I lost all my interest in Ash the moment he realized he actually wanted to be with Jenny. Dude, you've known the woman for so many years, you're the one pulling back and making her feel like crap any time she tries to shorten the distance, and all it takes is a threatening picture from a stalker for you to FINALLY get your move on?!

It's like one of those movie moments, when the guy at long last looks at the woman who's been by his side all along, and tells her something along the lines of "let's be together because I don't know how long we'll actually be alive" or something!

Gah! Rocco, I'm moving on to your book to get rid of those two. No matter how nice they were, they were just NOT Titan material if you ask me. I'm ready to take my manly dose, if you don't mind...

*opens Rocco's book and gets ready to fangirl*

“Chocolate cake and a diamond ring? In bed with the man of my dreams? Nothing else to say but yes.”- Jenny Chase

I'll be the first one to admit that I was skeptical going into this book. Hot special ops dudes draped in tactical gear and weapons is my cup o'java. Suited political guys in Washington? Not so much.

I. Was. Wrong.

HOLY HELL, Asher McIntyre blew away all my stereotypes. He's hot, playboy, possessive, and holds his own amongst the Titan crew.

After threats from a crazy dude move from him to his sister and her best friend, he strips off his tie and bites the bullet to protect the people he loves. Even if one of them, his sisters best friend Jenny Chase, doesn't know he's in love with her.

Jenny Chase has been in love with Asher since they were kids. And now that Asher is proving to be more than fun to flirt with, she's entertaining thoughts that involve a lot more than a childhood crush.

Harber ups the sexy factor big time in Chased. Make sure you read this novella with an ice cold beverage and an industrial sized fan. You're going to need it. H. A. W. T

I felt fairly disconnected from the MCs and their relationship since it was more of an outer orbital romance in the Titan universe. Their chemistry was almost unremarkable but the suspense had a decent buildup to the next full-length book.

I loved Asher and Jenny. Would have like a bit more character development, but since it was a novella that would have used a lot of words. Good read!

Real cute, short novella featuring Jenny Chase (Sugars sister) and up and coming politician Asher McIntyre, who just happens to be her BFF's brother and her lifelong crush. This wasn't my favourite on the series simply cause I wanted to see more of my Titan boys. Still a good read though :-)

I vaguely remember Asher from one of the previous books and we only get to meet Jenny by vague reference in Westin's Chase. It was a great novella. I didn't feel cheated at all but I needed more Titan boys.

I'm sorry. Am I the only person who was wondering what this couple had to do with Titan until about half way (maybe more) into the book? I had completely forgotten that Jenny was Sugar's sister (Westin's Chase).

Ash and Jenny as a couple didn't do much for me. Jenny seemed way too naive and innocent for the Titan series. Ash seemed to look at her, realize she was "grown up", and decided she was now worth pursuing. He talked about how much he wanted her and craved her, but didn't mention anything about loving her until almost the end.

I guess I wasn't expecting a "regular" couple. I had gotten used to the witty back and forth, the couples who could take on the bad guys with no problem, etc. I just didn't pick up any chemistry between them. Maybe if it had been longer.

Jared and Sugar make a brief appearance, as well as Roman and Rocco. This book did have some action, suspense, and mystery as well as being steamy, ending with an HEA.

I read this book as part of the Titan Series boxed set.

I purchased this as part of a bundle from the author called The Titan Series: Set 1.

I enjoyed the first three in this set. The scene sets up that the MC were neighbors for years and the h has loved him forever. Then we find out he liked her too, but his career took off and the h wasn't thought of. I just didn't feel a connection to this couple. Everything just seemed to be on the surface.

Lovemaking, outside of marriage - heat level 5 out of 5. We go from zero to 50 in seconds with their connection.

No cheating, no cliffhanger for our MC, but one of the Titan men is left hanging, some drama, little on romance, mostly lust, HEA, small part with the Titan Group. (ljb)

Good novella and fun to see some of the family and outliers of the Titan group. I wish certain scenes were more detailed. For instance the election night celebration...I had no idea why there was blood or what was going on until we were told later what happened...I thought she was having a panic attack or inhaled some biological component, no idea about knives being involved. I do like how they finally work out as a couple even though she is on pretty
Forgiving lady to have felt with that For her whole life.

This novella is #3.2 in the series, "Titan" by author; Christin Harber. There was A LOT of story packed into this very short novella that I was hoping it would be longer but anyways, I loved it! Totally not what I was expecting in this "Titan" series so I hope it plays out in the future novels. Again, another well written novella that's full of action, suspense and romance. I'm most definitely in love with this series and author. Just brilliant writing skills!! This series, novella and author are absolutely worth the time to read!! Happy Reading!!!

This is the first book I’ve listened to in this series and didn’t have any problems following along so I feel it can be read as a stand-alone. That being said, I think I will go back and start on the first since I did like this book so much. I felt the writing flowed well through the whole book and the chemistry between these two was great to follow along with. The book had just the right amount of suspense to keep you involved and unwilling to turn it off.

Chased

A stalker tried to pull a political move by stalking a congressman, his family and the woman he loves. What the stalker doesn't count on is that Jenny's sister is married to Titan's Jared Weston. Will Jared catch the stalker before he carries out his threat to take something away from Ashton like the state of NY took away from him? Will Ashton and Jenny get their happily ever after?

Jenny is Sugar's sister and her and her friend has just returned from Disney World with the Titan Group. Asher is her friends brother and running for Senator. When they are threatened, Asher will do anything to keep Jenny safe.  But when she is taken, he calls in Titan to help with her protection.  They admit their feelings for each other and try to find the stalker after them.

Fast paced excitement

Fast paced, hot, and a alpha male who finally knows what he wants. And that's his sisters best friend that he's tried to stay from for years. Now she's in danger because of him, and who better to protect her but him. Who's gonna protect her from him though.

This series is well written and well paced. Definitely more romantic suspense than romance.

Each book is about a different member of the Titan group, a privately owned business made up mostly of ex military people.

This was about Jenny, the sister of Sugar who is Jared Westin's wife (the owner of Titan Group) so it was only loosely part of the Titan Series.

I am impressed with the amount of story Cristin Harber can fit into a small page count. Even though we’ve never met the main characters in the prior Titan installments aside from brief mention of Jenny, you are totally given enough details and interactions to love their story, and she fits in the Titan boys and a suspense plot line on top of that. Good tie in to the next book too.

Great Series!💜

What a great way to end this series. I loved how the author branched out a bit away from the mail characters and created a new world on the edge of the Titan’s world. I feel like maybe this could be the beginning of a whole new series.
The narration was amazing.
I recommend this book/series!

This was a good read. My problem is that it was to short. The characters seemed secondary an not really pertaining to the rear of the series.
