Once upon a time there was a young witch who was too afraid to ever board her broom and fly. No matter how hard her mother tried to convince her that she wouldn’t fall, the young witch refused. This was until one day the fairy queen visited her in a dream. Realizing that the young witch had never faced the reasons for her fear, the fairy queen asked her one simple question; one simple question that changed the young witch’s destiny, forever. A wonderfully-illustrated story in rhyme, for children aged 3 to 7 years old, about coming to terms with fear and realizing that often our fears are only thoughts. Most of the time one simple question can motivate us so much that we find the courage inside ourselves to do the things that we were, at first, afraid of.

The story was an adorable tale of a little witch, afraid to fly, overcoming her fears and finding that overcoming fears could be fun! I only rated it a 4* because I couldn’t understand why fairies and witches are compatible! Was a rhyming story and nicely illustrated!
Children's Book: The Witch who was afraid to Fly (funny bedtime story collection) by Yonit Werber Free gift is available. Colorful children's book about a witch and she just didn't like being so high in the sky as witches are supposed to fly around. Others do encourage her to keep trying...something magical happens when she dreams about flying... Love that it's also a rhyming book. Other works by the author and there are many that would interest anyone to want to read them. Love hidden meanings inside.
Brilliant attempt at story telling with rhyming words. It reminds me of the highly popular 'Giraffes dont dance' by Giles Andreae. One of the most important factors in story telling is the ability to keep the reader interested till the end. What I loved the most was the message that if you have a strong enough reason to change, you definitely will.I enjoyed finding out how the next verse would match up to the previous one and the flow of words was lovely.Sweet illustrations add to the charm of the book. Recommended for age group 5 years and above. Five out of five stars.
A story about a young witch who was afraid to fly. The young witch has a dream which helps her to realise why she didn't want to fly and why she should fly. So she builds up the courage and starts flying so she can see her friends. A useful book to approach feelings, being scared, bravery and friendship.
This book is for girls and boys. It is good for people that have just got into reading. I personally think this was an enjoyable book and that young readers would love to read it.

I'd recommend this to anyone with young children, introduces them to the concept of not giving in to read and keep trying, then receiving the benefits. My 3 year old daughter loved it. This will probably be a regular bedtime book. Xx
A fun book about changing your point of view and finding the confidence to overcome your fears. A cool idea and a fun way to present it, witches are fearsome but where do they go to for help when they have trouble. We all need help sometimes.
A lovely and charming bedtime story, which will no doubt put a smile on your face. Nice easy flowing theme with bright and colourful illustrations. Love the black cat...
I loved the fact that this book rhymed throughout. Also loved the message that sometimes you have to overcome something very scary in order to have fun and do something you love doing.
