Librarian Note: There is more than one author in the Goodreads database with this name.

As a lifelong Pennsylvanian, I’ve (Ruth Price) had a unique opportunity to meet Amish folks in my everyday life. It’s a delight to get to know a culture and people who may have a different way of living but share a common love of God and a common belief in the goodness of other human beings. I try to channel this higher good through my fiction, and while I can’t say I always reach that ideal, I hope my stories inspire and entertain. Heartwarming story. Buy lots of editing errors.

The pain and challenges of three broken people - rather than exacerbating each other - help each other heal. This is a fresh path to a measure of joy for several people.
Meanwhile, the errors of one word being confused with another are quite frustrating and unprofessional. This book - and many others of this genre - desperately needs a competent proofreader.

Great book on redemption and love

This book teaches the value of true love and redemption. Through the actions of Miriam's mom, the value of love was also taught. God loves each of us know matter Who we are.

Instead of curling up in bed with a true crime story or some other harrowing tale, I switched over to this book for a couple of nights. This was the first Amish romance I've ever read and it was just so sweet and wholesome that I almost want to read it all over again! The author did a fantastic job of creating likeable and believable characters, people whose struggles draw you in and keep you cheering for them. I'd always assumed characters in religious romance would be all goody-goody and smug but no one here fit that bill. One other cool thing about reading this story was learning more about Amish culture and language.

Zero stars. Another of those "series" books with abrupt and incomplete endings. I didn't bother to finish so have given no stars.
