The Inner Seas Kingdoms #5

Journey to Uniontown

Rate this book
Kestrel has been drawn deeper and deeper into the battles in the world - first the battles between elves and men, then among men and men, and now he's come to be a participant in a battle among the gods themselves. He's fighting on behalf of the gods of the lands of the Inner Seas, fighting to help them stave off death at the hands of the invading god of the Viathins.

In "Journey to Uniontown", the fifth and final book in the Inner Seas series, Kestrel is finally going to take the battle into the heart of the lands that the Viathins control. As he finishes the liberation of Seafare from the Viathin influence, new challenges, and new threats to the beautiful Moorin, will drive him on a journey down the Gamble River, traveling with new friends who bring weaknesses and surprises.

Read the conclusion to the Inner Seas Kingdom series and learn how the many contradictions and conflicts of Kestrel's long-running battles are resolved.

Not the last book

Well, I read this was supposed to be the last book of the series. However, it is not and Kestrels journey continues. Can the poor guy ever catch a break? I did not enjoy this book as some of the others. I even skipped through parts because it was becoming a bit repetitive. It's still a good read, though I'd like to see Kestrel actually be able to find his true soul mate. With the astonishing revelation at the end of this book, I'm curious as to what will happen now. I guess we'll find out.

Goodness Gracious (No, Really)

An outstanding climax to the series, with a great deal of action, fighting, self-searching, divinity, mortality, and water reclamation. Definitely worth reading. Recommended.

Fun Story if a bit repetitive

Fun Story but the widow or woman who gets engaged to someone else as soon as the protagonist is gone a few weeks is a bit repetitive..

The Moorin storyline was intriguing and a reasonable outcome, just felt like a lot of time spent over two books for little payoff.
