I bought this book because I love Scott's cheap flights newsletter. There is a lot of thought and detail that went into this short book. It's most useful as a step-by-step guide to planning an international trip, and I definitely plan to use it for that.

Life hacks

Good tips on taking advantage of rewards and points. Be leery of the idea of taking on too many credit cards.

A quick easy read with some good ideas. But it’s dated. By the time I came across this book (free with Prime) two airlines and one points group have been absorbed into others.

Good, but dated info

Though I am a reasonably seasoned traveler, I found this to be enlightening reading. My only complaint is that not a little of the information is really dated.

Wow! Like coupon clipping using credit card benefits.

For the spend thrift who has a lot of time to spare. Interesting concept but likely to be irrelevant due to how fast the competitive benefits system changes these days. Use it fast....
