This was another sweet love story set in Jackson Hole. Poppy is done with romance after ending her marriage to a lying, cheating doctor. She's returned to Jackson Hole and is making a difference as a social worker. Ben is immediately struck by Poppy and wants to get to know her better. When after an impulsive fling, Poppy discovers she is pregnant, the two have to navigate what comes next.

I enjoyed this book and the adult decisions that were made. And I really liked watching the attraction and friendship between Poppy and Ben develop. It was also nice to see couples from previous books in the series!

Thanks to the author and publisher for providing me with an ARc to read and review!

Gorgeous hero looks across the crowded room and finds and equally gorgeous heroine and the lust was instantaneous. He wants more. She only wants one night with no strings attached, after all-all men are just like her ex...aren't they? They all lie and cheat...she's sure of that and nothing is going to change her mind or her pathetic attitude. The man most interested in her has to suffer the consequences of what her no good husband has done. It's all very unfair and she can't see the forest for the trees.

I didn't care for the heroine at all. Everything was all about her and her fears of having done to her again what her ex-husband did...cheating and lying! She is obsessed with it and really gave no man a chance. It all seemed very childish to this reader. But in her mind, all men are exactly the same!

I liked the hero and thank goodness one of them had a good head on their shoulders. Especially when the condom failed. She didn't even want the baby daddy in the picture. That way she wouldn't have to put herself out there and try and trust again. Arg!!

She colors every man with the strokes she painted her husband. She was divorced two years ago and it left a very ugly taste in her mouth.

Let me just say I was glad when it was over. I'm sorry I can't recommend.

What a great read to start the New Year. I really enjoyed this book about Poppy and Ben. Poppy having been through a bad divorce and learning that her husband who was a surgeon had been cheating on her throughout their marriage, returns to her childhood home town to start again. Although she grew up there she feels slightly like an outsider as everyone has moved on although I think this is due to her own insecurities. There is an instant attraction between herself and Benedict, the local orthopaedic surgeon but, unfortunately she classes all doctors as controlling and manipulative due to her experience during her marriage. After giving in to that attraction for one night they both then have to navigate an unplanned pregnancy and even though they both have intense feelings for each other Ben has to work hard to break down the emotional walls that Poppy has built so that they have a chance of their HEA.

I really liked Ben in this book because no matter what he had gone through he kept putting himself out there with Poppy, but I didn't really like Poppy. It just seemed like for most of the book she wasn't willing to even try to get over her past. Overall, this book what's ok. I definitely liked others in this series better.

Nice addition to the series RX for Love. Poppy and Ben's story. Poppy was hurt in her first marriage and did not want to ever marry again. So glad Ben was able to convince her otherwise.

Nice Continuation of a Series

This series was a bit sketchy in the beginning, but the exciting has gotten better and the characters and storylines Cindy Kirk has created are interesting, yet each is unique. My one problem is this series if books is shorter leaving fewer words for character and plot development. I recommend reading the Good Hope series or the new Hazel Green series available on Kindle Unlimited before buying each book in this series.

A good romance book

This was a very good book. It had good information about relationships and mistrust. The romance in this book was very good and emotional. I enjoyed this book from start to finish.

So so perfect

II can't believe that this author keeps coming up with another perfect and fantastic story to write. This was written so well that I could close my eyes and picture everything in my mind as I read. Great job of writing.

I liked the ending of this book but not the beginning. I don't enjoy these plots where a couple makes a conscious decision to use each other for sex and she gets pregnant. If you're going to make the heroine get pregnant then let it be because something unexpected happens. Just using one another gives one the opinion they are loose with their morals and can be a turn off. Mistakes happen but to make a conscious decision about something is different.

I did keep on reading and I liked the way the characters took responsibility for their actions and wanted to work things out in the best interest of the baby. Poppy and Ben were quite likeable and I thought they went well together. I also really liked the way Poppy listened to what Ben had to say when she caught him in a compromising position. So many times one of them get mad and the other stubbornly refuses to explain because their pride has been wounded. This was a refreshing change.

Good book where both Poppy and Ben have to learn to trust again. I really enjoyed the slow building of their love. Poppy had come home to Jackson Hole after the end of her marriage to a New York doctor. He had lied to her, cheated on her and looked down on her. Now she is determined to concentrate on her job as a social worker and avoid any kind of relationship with a man. When she shares a brief kiss with Ben at a friend's party she is startled by the intensity of it and avoids him for the rest of the evening. They don't really see each other again until Valentine's Day when she is participating in a fundraiser where she sings. Ben is drawn to her like he hasn't been for anyone else in a long time. When they go out to dinner later Poppy is surprised by how well they get along, but still not interested in pursuing a relationship. She does decide to give in to her wild side a bit and spends the night with him. She is stunned to find herself pregnant since she hadn't gotten pregnant at all while married. Since she wanted children she is thrilled, but not sure how Ben will take the news. She is surprised by his apparent pleasure, but wary when he wants her to move in so they can get to know each other better. Her trust issues won't let her put herself under that kind of control, so she invites him to her place instead. When she ends up moving to his place after all their plans to get to know each other work very well. I really liked the way that Poppy begins to relax with Ben and they start building a relationship. She had some real self worth problems thanks to her ex-husband and Ben's treatment of her goes a long way toward making her feel better. I also liked seeing her open up more with some of the other people. She realizes that she has fallen in love with him, but she doesn't know if she can overcome his resistance to being fully in love.

Ben was hurt badly by the woman he had fallen for in college. While he thought everything was going well for them, she was also seeing someone else. He swore he would never allow himself to fall that deeply for anyone ever again. His initial attraction to Poppy was purely physical, but he soon was just as attracted to her sense of humor and her whole personality. He isn't about to turn her down the night they go out to dinner, but hopes to convince her to make it more than a one time thing. He is surprised by her pregnancy but not upset about it. He lets her know that he plans to be very involved and that they should get to know each other better even before the baby comes. He's not thrilled with moving into her apartment since it's so much smaller than his house, but he's willing to do what it takes. When moving to his house makes more sense for her safety their relationship takes another step. I loved seeing Ben experiencing new things because of being part of a couple. He's starting to feel more for Poppy but still trying convince himself that he can hold part of himself back. I loved the way he finally realized the truth and then what he did to show Poppy just how much he cared.

This book, number 7 in the Jackson Hole series, is the story of Poppy Westover and Ben Campbell. Poppy is a social worker, returned from New York after divorcing her philandering husband, and doesn’t trust men in general, and doctors especially (her ex is a doctor). Ben is an orthopedic surgeon and is not looking for a long-term relationship. But when they first meet, sparks fly.

SPOILER ALERT: Ben and Poppy feel an instant attraction and spend the night together. The condom slips during one of their lovemaking events, but Poppy is not worried. She was told in NY that she could not get pregnant. That information was a lie, and she becomes pregnant. Poppy plans to birth and raise the child by herself but feels duty-bound to tell Ben. Ben insists they move in together. Poppy resists but eventually allows Ben to move into her 2 BR apartment, although Ben owns a spacious home. They grow closer as a couple, but their hang-ups drive a wedge between them. Can they both overcome their hesitations, and reach their HEA?

The only problem I had with the story was Poppy’s belief she could not get pregnant. Even after she did become pregnant, she was not suspicious about the diagnosis of her infertility given by a doctor-friend of her husband. It was obvious to me her ex-husband had a vasectomy, as he was cheating on Poppy almost from the first day of their marriage. And even after her ex-husband admitted the vasectomy, no effort was made to contact the NY licensing board to report the lie given by the doctor-friend of her ex. Ben, being a doctor, is certainly aware of the breach of medical ethics and should have reported the lie.

The problem explained in the previous paragraph did not detract from my enjoyment of the book. I loved this Jackson Hole story of two people putting aside their concerns and acknowledging their love for each other. Highly recommended!

Cindy Kirk returns to Jackson Hole, Wyoming for this captivating story of second chances.
The pairing of social worker Poppy Westover and Dr. Benedict Campbell surprised me. Ben is an extremely busy surgeon and has been linked to several woman throughout this series—none of the relationships panned out. Poppy returned to Jackson Hole after a painful divorce and was rebuilding her career and was starting to socialize with her friends. The intense sexual attraction between the couple drew me into the story immediately.
Both Ben and Poppy have trust and commitment issues. Cindy Kirk writes a compelling story for this couple. Ben and Poppy are allowed time to explore their friendship and own their feelings for one and other. Poppy can’t help but compare Ben with her former husband. Both men are charming, confident surgeons who adhere to schedules and are used to getting what they desire. The similarities are too much for Poppy in the beginning of the relationship and haunt her throughout the story. Ben has trust issues and isn’t sure he can fully commit to a relationship.
Cindy Kirk weaves several themes -- families and their expectations, infidelity, infertility and freedom of choice-throughout the novel. She is able to incorporate these themes into Ben and Poppy’s story effortlessly. I could relate to the push-pull of the romance because with each chapter the couple shared more with each other. Their conversations were filled with honestly, anguish and heartbreak… so very relatable.
I adore Cindy Kirk’s voice – her characters are multi-faceted and her well-plotted stories are filled with compelling issues Ben and Poppy’s journey was passionate, emotional and so very rewarding. Am looking forward to the next Jackson Hole story.

What a treat to revisit Jackson Hole for the New Year.

They say the new year is a great time for new beginnings. For Poppy, her new beginning is coming home. Seems counterintuitive, right? She has had some major life changes; some hurtful things has happened to her and she comes home a very different person from when she left. She's also dealing with the fact that she's been gone so long and everything just seems .... different. She cannot seem to find her footing.

On the other hand, we have Dr. Ben. He's been hurt in the past and at this point in his life, is not looking for anything serious. Or permanent. His main concern is caring for his patients and being a good doctor for them.

They meet and there's interest. But Dr. Ben is a doctor and Poppy has sworn off doctors because of her lying and cheating ex. But sometimes, sparks cannot be denied. The story of how these two come together was a wonderful read - the story was very real and dealt with issues that are all tool common these days - infidelity, infertility, trust, love. It is written so well and paced so wonderfully that it's as if no time passed between starting and ending the book for me. I was so happy to have read this story - it made me think, feel and wonder. Cindy writes so fluidly and so realistically and I love that.

All the Right Reasons is Book #7 of Cindy Kirk's Jackson Hole series. It can be read as a continuation of the series or as a standalone novel.
This book takes us back to Jackson Hole where Poppy Westover, a social worker, has returned home to Jackson Hole from New York after divorcing her lying, cheating ex-husband who happened to be a doctor. Poppy has decided that she is done with romance & just wants to concentrate on her social work.
Introduce Dr Benedict Campbell. Ben has been mentioned in previous books but this is where her is a main character alongside Poppy. Dr Campbell is an orthopaedic surgeon & despite an attraction to Ben, Poppy has sworn off all doctors due to the previous experience with her ex-husband.
Throughout the course of the book, Ms Kirk gives the characters a chance to build their friendship & possible romance as both have trust & commitment issues. There is one problem that draws them closer together quicker than they wanted but, over the course of the book, this is overcome & both are given their happily ever after.
I really enjoyed this book & found it a great start to the New Year - a nice, easy read. Ms Kirk is definitely on a winning formula & if you choose to read this book, you won't be disappointed!

This book has the least spontaneous "spontaneous" one night stand I have ever read. It takes 20% of the book just to get there and before anything happens Poppy is laying down the law, all whilst telling herself to cut loose and just go with things.

I didn't really have a problem with Poppy or Ben as characters, he wasn't an alpha-jerk and she wasn't a doormat, but at the same time I didn't really feel they had any chemistry between them. Sure we kept getting told they were hot for each other, but there just seemed to be something lacking.

The pacing in this book was also a bit odd. The first 50% or so is so detailed it was at points tedious, then at the story progressed entire weeks and months went missing as if the author couldn't be bothered to go in to it (though I suspect it had more to do with keeping the word count down since Mills & Boon seem to frown upon anything longer and more "taxing" than 200 pages). The epilogue was also insanely rushed and seemed to be tacked on just so that we could say "yes, they did in fact have a baby".

Overall this was very "meh". I didn't hate any one part of it, but at the same time nothing much really happened or caught my attention either.

I received an Advanced Reader Copy from the publisher and am voluntarily reviewing it. Welcome back to Jackson Hole. Poppy Westover lived and Jackson Hole when she was younger and just moved back. She is currently working as a social worker and trying to find her footing in a town that is new to her again. Dr. Benedict Campbell is an orthopedic surgeon and has lived in Jackson Hole all his life.

These two collide after a steamy Torch performance on Valentine’s Day. There is definite chemistry but both have reasons never to want to take the step towards building a relationship. Poppy, after going through infertility treatments during a previous marriage, is surprised when she finds out she is pregnant. Always wanting a child, Poppy is ready to go about her life as a single parent. Ben would never abandon his child and decided that the two needed to get to know each other quickly.

This is a heartwarming love story that readers expect from this author. She delivers wholeheartedly. Seeing this wonderful neighborhood rally round this unwilling couple will make readers love this town even more. Readers will get updates on the other characters lives and will be thoroughly immersed in the Jackson Hole life and absolutely love every minute of it.

If you are looking for a good read, check out All the Right Reasons by Cindy Kirk. This is Book 7 in the Jackson Hole series; however, it can also be enjoyed as a standalone novel. All the Right Reasons is a story about forgiveness, healing, and love.
Poppy Westover was married to a successful doctor who almost destroyed her when she realized that he had cheated on her throughout their entire marriage. Poppy returned to Jackson Hole to heal her broken heart and begin again, vowing never to fall in love with another doctor.
Dr. Ben Campbell is an orthopedic surgeon who has also had his heart broken in the past. While in medical school, Ben became engaged. He thought everything was perfect until his fiancé left him for another man. Ben devoted his life to caring for his patients and vowed never to love like that again.
When Poppy and Ben meet, there is an immediate attraction. The two had a one night stand; however, decided to never speak of it or think of it again. Unfortunately, this one night stand did a plus one. With a baby on the way, will the two be able to forgive, heal, and learn to love again?

All the Right Reasons is the seventh in the Jackson Hole series but can be read as a stand alone story. This is a story of overcoming the past to embrace the future. Poppy is still dealing with the fallout of learning that her ex cheated and lied throughout their marriage. She has vowed to never fall for the charm and charisma of another doctor, that is until she meets Ben. The sparks fly with every interaction and she gives in to a one-night stand. In medical school, Ben was engaged and gave his whole heart to his fiancee only to have her leave him for another. He vows to never love that strongly again but he can't deny the attraction that he has for Poppy. When Poppy learns she is pregnant, they agree to move in together to learn more about each other. Both are reluctant to open their hearts but the more time they spend together, the more they learn to let go of the past. You can't judge someone based on the actions of another. This story is filled with heart, emotions and a sweet love story that leads to happily ever after.

I received an advanced reader copy from the publisher but all thoughts and feelings are my own.

Another great book in the Jackson Hole series. Most of the same folks are here, so it is fun to catch up. Poppy and Ben are attracted to each other, but she is not attracted to him being a good looking confident doctor that practically drives the same model Mercedes as her cheating doctor ex husband. There are a lot of sparks and she ends up giving in to a very hot night. Well, Poppy, who can’t get pregnant does! The rest of the book is them getting to know each other so they can decide what is best for their child. There are a lot of scenes where they each prove to be sane people. When Ben’s dad wants to grill her, Ben tells his dad to back off, since Poppy was hesitant to meet the parents. But she just said that it was all right, that he just cares about his son. How many books have I read that the girl would have run out of the room?

I really enjoyed this book, as I have all Cindy’s books. This one had sex more than once, but not a smut book. I strongly recommend this book.

Trust and Love are equal!!!

Trust and Love are equal! This is about Poppy and Dr. Ben. Poppy is attracted to him but the fact that he is a surgeon and her ex is one too, she cannot move forward with this. Dr. Ben was burned once before too and promised to never give his whole heart away, but the moment he saw the woman in a beehive hairdo, he could not tell his heart what to do. Now on Valentine’s Day, he sees her again and asks her to dinner and nightcaps in which leaves her with a little something special months later. She never thought she could have children as she and her ex couldn’t conceive but after one night with Dr. Ben, she is going to be a single parent and happy about it. Love Dr. Ben in this story, a true man all the way!

The story is about trust and being open to love after being hurt in the worst way and these two felt it very much as her ex made her believe things that were not true for so many years. Love that the next book is about Dr. Sanchez as she also deserves happiness and luckily, it is not with the one she dated in this book.

A lovely ease from desire-at-first-sight into a forever love. One knows what he wants. One holds back, reluctant and unsure of believing in her feelings, given her marital history.

Against all her self-protective instincts, Poppy falls for the confidant, good looking doctor that every woman in town seems to want. Is he too good to be true, or is he just like her ex-husband?

Kirk takes the couple from acting on a hot-burn meeting, to easing into an unsure relationship by both vowing to take it slow and truly get to know each other. Complications speed up the timeline. Although both claim to be okay with friendship, true love and respect has a way of changing minds.

I loved this “sweet” story of falling for each other in immediate attraction, and then slowly building trust to truly fall in love.

I received an advanced copy of this book and have given a fair and unbiased review.

We've met Poppy before so it was lovely to read her story. Poppy was deeply hurt by her cheating ex-husband and doesn't believe she will ever trust any man again. Ben doesn't believe he will ever give a woman his whole heart again. Needless to say there is an instant attraction between Poppy and Ben and a surprise pregnancy has them both wondering if they can even become friends, let alone more.

Ms Kirk writes such a believable story, you sympathise with both characters, whilst also wanting to shake them to make them see what they have is special! Ben works hard to break down Poppy's walls and soon realises that this woman has his whole heart already.

I loved the pace of the story and was completely captivated. It is a gentle romance and I loved it! A great start to 20221

I enjoyed the book. It was a relaxing, easy read without too much angst.

Poppy seemed kind of cold to me at the start of the book, but I gradually warmed up to her character. Both she and Ben had some issues that they had to work through. Knowing where their hesitancy came from regarding relationships made their actions understandable.

I did think it was interesting that although Ben felt the way he did, I did not sense any reluctance on his part in his pursuit of Poppy. He didn't make the same kind of assumptions Poppy made by continually comparing Ben to her ex.

I also enjoy revisiting Jackson Hole and catching up with previous characters. A sweet, romantic, no stress read. I am looking forward to the next book in the series.

Cindy Kirk has done it again, smashed it out of the park with this beautifully written novel. Number 7 of the Jackson Hole series, but can also be read as a stand alone. This novel concentrates primarily on the lives on Ben & Poppy, as well as the other characters of Jackson Hole. A story about new beginnings & how everything happens for a reason. Get lost in the lives of the characters of Jackson Hole. I won’t go into too much detail as I don’t want to spoil it for you, just know that one moment in time can change the trajectory of your life. Everything in our lives is planned out for us, what is meant to be will be. Thank you Cindy for another beautiful novel & another amazing series (my favourite type of novel to read). I’ve already downloaded the next book in this series & cannot wait to start reading it. Nothing beats time to yourself with a fabulous book. Enjoy!!!

All the Right Reasons brings us back to Jackson Hole as part of Cindy Kirk's Jackson Hole Series. This story focuses on Poppy Westover and Ben Campbell, two 30 somethings that have been burnt by love before. Poppy is a divorcee, whose husband cheated on her numerous times and we learn lied to her about his ability to have children. Ben is an orthopedic surgeon who, while in med school, almost married someone else. Poppy and Ben hook up and she becomes pregnant, even though she thought she couldn't conceive. Both are excited about the pregnancy, and Ben is willing to do whatever it takes to also win Poppy's heart.

A great romance with a wonderful happy ending.

I received an ARC for honest feedback.

Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me.
Poppy finds herself unsure of trusting her heart. On paper Dr. Ben Campbell is exactly like her ex-husband, the same ex that broke her heart and her trust.
Having moved back to Jackson Hole after her divorced, Poppy finds herself reconnecting with childhood friends, starting a new job, and forging new friendships.
Can her connection with Ben be real? Or is her going to disappoint Poppy too?
Ben has his work cut off for him to break through Poppy’s walls…can he prove to Poppy he isn’t a man she thinks he is? Can her show he has been drawn to her for months?

This is another wonderful story in Jackson Hole!

Poppy moved back to Jackson Hole after her life imploded. She’s been hurt and has decided to never love or marry again to protect herself from the hurt she has suffered. Ben has also been hurt by love and has sworn to never be fully in with another woman, also to protect his heart. But love always finds a way. And a one night stand has forever implications. I really enjoyed reading Poppy and Ben both get over their trust issues and fall in love like they were meant to. Cindy really brought tilo life all the feelings and emotions that Poppy and Ben were feeling during their courtship. And it was great catching up with the rest of the Jackson Hole gang. Poppy and Ben have both been burned by their exes. They meet and have tremendous chemistry, but because Poppy thinks that Ben is too much like her surgeon ex, she only agrees to one night together. Of course, that one night leads to an unexpected pregnancy. Since they barely know each other, they decide to live together to get to know each other better. Both Poppy and Ben are likable characters, and the build from lovers to friends works. This was previously released as “One Night with the Doctor.” I received an advanced reader copy of this book from the author and publisher for my honest opinion.
