Just as she thinks she’s got it all under control, the ugly truth pays her a surprise visit.

He loves her sexual appetite and willingness to please and be pleased, but he wants so much more, he wants all of her, the good, the bad, and the ugly. Can he set aside his fear and jealous tendencies long enough to receive them from her, and when he’s faced with the ugly, will he be able to handle the heartbreaking truth, or will it be more than he bargained for?
Desiree Wilder is a small town girl from South Dakota who daydreams a lot and writes it all down at the end of the day. A nudge and one step in the right direction was all it took for her to discover that she could pull characters out of her head and make them say and do whatever she wanted them to on paper. Her first series, Losing Control, published under Limitless Publishing, was the beginning of Desiree’s newfound creative outlet. She started safe and slow, unsure of what she wanted to share with the world for fear of being rejected or misunderstood, but by the time she finished the third book, Total Control, she’d found the confidence to write it exactly as she saw it. It was powerful and convinced her to write a spin-off, Sean, in which she pushed her limits even further. As she delves into the unknown world of self-publishing for her second series, the Phoenix Four, she welcomes the opportunity to personally make her vision come to life. Book one, Emilee, promises to be a sexy, funny, yet emotional look into the lives of four women who met in college, and became sisters for life. Unquestionably her best work to date, Desiree is extremely proud of it. When Desiree isn’t writing, she loves to shop, cook, camp, and sit on the tailgate with people who make her laugh. Music inspires her and is a big part of her everyday life. Her very close family is her strength and her biggest supporters.
This was the best of the three "books" but it was still wasn't one I would recommend. The dialogue was unbelievable as was the instantaneous love that occurred between the heroine/hero and every person of the opposite sex that they encountered.
This book made me cry so much! I got mad at Gia when she had kissed Zane but then how Ethan acted made me hate him. I've fell in love with Ethan all over again when he talked to Gia the first day she was able to in treatment. Everything he did for Gia was amazing and thoughtful. What a great and happy ending!
I totally loved the ending of this story. It was a pretty emotional read. Hearing all the Gia had gone through with Lex. It broke my heart. I have a strong hate for that man. I absolutely loved Sean. What a sweetie!!!! Gia and Ethan are definitely meant to be together. Their bond was very strong and I was happy to see that Gia got the help she needed so she could move forward with the life she was destined to lead.
I loved this story from book one. gia was a tortured soul and Ethan was her light. he loved her from afar as a stranger and once he met her he loved her the good and the bad. in the end they both found what they were looking for.
This was a great ending to Ethan and Gia' s story. I thought this was a lighthearted trilogy but it had several heartwrenching topics. I loved this book the best
