From the remove of 2019 this is awful, reading like the lame cash-in it is. Copious quotes from other journos' work, pretentious and repetitive commentary about musical genres and Butch's previous collaborations, and the whole thing has a rushed-out feel. In jumping on the bandwagon that was Garbage even before they had recorded the second album, it just fails to give a full picture of the band that went through Volume 2.0 to Bond to losing much of their grip on the limelight. This might have been on-message as far as fans went when it first came out, but now it's just too naff.
