I like that friends gather to help make a pumpkin pie. There's a bear, cat and little sis. They happily sing songs while mixing, stirring and pouring. It's a sweet little story for the little children who love to help in the kitchen baking cookies, except this time it's yummy pumpkin pie!
Bright colored pictures with rhymes. It's a fun way to teach kids rhymes and about baking. It even includes a recipe you could use to make a pumkin pie.

It is a simple recipe that is perfect for first-time bakers of any age. The recipe is given in “adult” form at the end of the book. My partner and I made it with organic canned pumpkin and a natural (chemical- and shortening-free) premade crust. It was quite yummy!

How fun was this book? It even includes a recipe for together time for you and the special child/ren in your life. My grand is still a bit too young but I can't wait...as I was reading it, I kept thinking this sounds like a real recipe, not let's pretend, lol! I wonder if it will work for sweet potato pie though?
