A short book full of snarky humor, stereotypes, and as with most of these types of books typos. Some viable content, though some is so far out in right field as to make me question where it came from. Location references all appear to be in the UK; I would have liked to see some references for the states and other countries but doesn't detract from the book at all. There were a few lines that made me chuckle and reminisce. Glad I borrowed it from the library instead of purchasing it. I prefer and would continue to recommend the book "What Is Goth" by Voltaire before this one.

Actually, a very funny book... and the author even seems to be genuinely interested in his subject. He does spell "Souxsie" (instead of "Siouxsie") and mentiones Marylin Manson and satanism for my tastes, but overall seems a knowledgeable outsider. Some interesting tips into goth-spotting, though Voltaire is funnier (but, then, Voltaire's got the advantage of being an insider to the scene).

I really enjoyed the humour of his book. And of course, his right in some points :).

A chuck-away book that was given to me long after I'd stopped being a 'Goth'.

Nevertheless, it is quite a fun little read.
