While expecting my first child (more years back than I care to count), I read my very first romance novel, and I've been in love with them ever since. I grew up in the ranch country of western Nebraska, and it was inevitable I’d eventually write lots of books about cowboys. I still live in Nebraska with my husband (who is not a cowboy), four married daughters and a whole slew of perfect grandchildren.
I'm a long-time member of RWA and RAH, my local chapter. I'm also one of the founders of Petticoats & Pistols, a popular blogsite for western romance. I love to cook, hang out at my lake cabin, and decorate birthday cakes for anyone who will let me.
I enjoyed each selection!! The stories covered a whole range of topics with unusual romances thrown in the mix. The storylines cover the late 1800's and the history in the region's at that time. All the stories were great and rated high. Couldn't pick a favorite because they were all that good . Looking forward to more from this author. 😂
This box set of 4 stores were amazing. Not only for the great price but the great stories. Each one brings the reader to want the love to bloom. If I had to pick a favorite of the 4 stories it would have to be WYOMING WILDFLOWER. Lance is happy when Sonni comes back to the Ranch. Her father has all girls but always wanted a son. He always made her feel left out. Once she is back Lance does his best to win her over and does after a long battle. All the stories are great and you feel like you are in each story with the vivid details from all the authors. I am glad I picked this book up and now I want to check out some of the authors other books.
Since I save my four and five starred ratings for nooks that id read over and over again, I have no issue rating this a solid three. I love the box set. A great value for what I'd call Old Fashioned Westerns. If thats what you prefer to read, this set is definitely for you.
