I found it to be a tedious read but then it really was not my cup of tea. It really lost me when it talked about the 8 months of winter in Toronto. Do some research people!

Story pulled me in from the start. There were two times when I was reading that I had a “I didn’t see that coming.” I would recommend this book.

This book was so good. I was surprised by how good it was. The story lines were nicely woven. I cared about the characters and was very interested to see how the stories would unfold. I came to care about the characters. I loved that the characters had meaningful interaction with the major events that occurred throughout the decades covered by the book. Really great read.
