My only two problems with the book: the author's excessive use of (tiring) sarcasm, and the lack of sufficient proofreading. Otherwise, this is an enlightening and crucial book that exposes many of the lies being told daily. READ THIS BOOK.

I loathe conspiracy theories. Reading this book was like visiting ZeroHedge and only reading posts by George Washington. When I do visit ZH, I eschew G Washington's posts. Keep that in mind. I'm still giving the book 3 stars.

The reason it's worth 3 stars is because the media, on the whole, is a surrogate for critical thinking in the USA. This heuristic is problematic because those delivering news and current events have an agenda OTHER than reporting and educating. Their agenda is to make money. That's it. Nothing more, nothing less. On air personalities need to concern themselves with image and likability, not roughing feathers, asking difficult questions, and venturing into deeper waters.

I've seen the lack of thought first hand in reporting on a subject that I happen to be expert (say, top 10 in the world) about. You cannot trust typical methods of truth dispersion in the USA; you may as well read the Pravda daily. People are stupid, including the people responsible for keeping you informed - always keep that in mind. They are subject to biases and mental error even when they're not so stupid.

With this caveat in mind, the author takes this adversarial stance on several issues and argues against the mainstream beliefs. He does not present the information in a balanced manner such as here are the reason I conclude X but here are some potential areas where my argument is weak. In that sense, the book cannot stand alone and cannot be taken seriously.

However, the author has done a lot of research and does provide additional resources (that only support his conclusions) in each chapter. The odds that he's incorrect about everything in the book? Infinitesimal. The odds that the author's beliefs expressed in the book are completely correct? At least equally infinitesimal, but I happen to know for fact that it's zero. One or more of his beliefs are totally incorrect.

I'd recommend using the book as a starting point for several issues and research the interesting topics on your own. For me, the more interesting topics would be health care related (ie, cancer, war on cancer) financial (the fed) and the likes. I will continue my journey into these topics of choice and I recommend you do the same.

Conspiracy theorists, unite! This book has it all, or at least many of the popular theories as of 2013. The book is now out of print; the cheapest I found it on Amazon was $54 and change. Ty Bollinger is the author, really a compiler of information and lots of quotes from others with his own commentary and sarcasm thrown it. The title is Monumental Myths of the Modern Medical Mafia and Mainstream Media and the Multitude of Lying Liars that Manufactured Them. The title is revelatory of the contents and direction of the book.

I am in general agreement with many of the items he discusses. Ruby Ridge always smelled bad to me. So did the Oklahoma City bombing as well as JFK’s assassination and 9/11. My personal experience with major news media presenting a biased view came back in the mid-60’s when KGO news reported on an incident I had witnessed earlier in the day. What they put up was very one sided; that was an eye-opener for me. I also have in my possession two different issues of Life Magazine with the same exact same picture and two totally different captions, but both portrayed police brutality. A close examination of the pictures shows mannequins being used instead of real people. Omission of the truth is distortion of the truth.

Bollinger writes in a readable fashion. His sarcasm wears thin after a while, but at least the reader knows where his sympathies lie. His take on Fukushima has proven to be less sensational over time. His position on marijuana is oversimplified although he gets the history on it right. Those were two chapters where I think he lost some credibility. However, many of the other chapters had information not normally known, and he does use lots of documentation. I did not check to see if many of the youtube sources are still up now that censorship has become the norm on that platform. His goal in writing the book appears to be to get people to think for themselves and not just swallow what they are told by the government and the national news media. I am sure he would have a field day with the current vaccine situation. My best advice is to read the book if you can find it, and make up your own mind.

This is a book of myth busting. Ty takes common ideas that people assume to be true, such as "vaccines are safe and effective" and instead presents the reality of such ideas, (e.g. chemo therapy always ruins the body). He gives you the real story behind famous events such as the Ruby Ridge and Waco showdowns with the 'Law'. This is a book I recommend for everyone. The reason I say that is because we have been lied to so much about so many things that you just be forced to rethink things you thought were true. If you are a truth seeker then you will love this book. I can also see others getting very angry if they read this book because it conflicts with what they tenaciously embrace. Keep in mind: Ty Bollinger has never been proven wrong by his critics. Which is why Ty Bollinger's critics resort to cheap shots, character assassination, and censorship. Also keep in mind that Bollinger's critics are guarding their 'cash cows' rather than give you truth.

We know our government has lied to us -- a lot of people have lied to the public -- a lot of people have persuaded US citizens to believe their lies. This book gives some examples--from pasteurization to fluorides, from 9/11 to wars on you-name-it.
The author lays out the facts and the anomalies; he doesn't speculate on "what really happened". He gives his sources, he gives numbers and dates. And, as you might expect with a book like this, he freely adds sarcasm--which i found a bit distracting; i wanted to add my own sarcasm.
It was written in 2013, so if you read it you may want to search for any updates on the events presented, such as the Fukushima reactors.

It's about time we uncovered the truth to all this corruption. This book will give you an idea of the deception and the players who have worked to pull the wool over the public's eyes for years. It's interesting to learn what lengths' people will go to sell their souls. Profit, Power, and Control - that is the name of this game.

This book piles on evidence to show that *many* things pushed by the mainstream media, the government, and the medical industry are outrageous scams.

I'm not 100% certain of 100% of what's in this book but I certainly do think it contains good introductions to plenty of conspiracy theories that need to be investigated further. One of the things it covers is the controversy over the effects of vaccines. My opinion is that vaccines have saved untold millions of lives but that does not rule out the possibility of the bad news about them in this book being true also. I wonder if the concept of a vaccine itself is not the problem but the mercury, formaldehyde, and other things being put in them do not belong in our bodies and that could be the source of a lot of trouble. Other health info presented here is very interesting. We definitely do have a huge problem with the FDA (an agency created for very well-intentioned reasons) being used as an instrument for the pharmaceutical industry to keep it's competition off the market like the AMA does. Other political conspiracies and cover ups aren't covered in great detail here because there isn't enough space in one book but it is a good introduction to several of them.
