I love guides from Eyewitness travel. After 14 visits to Mallorca, I am well-acquainted with the island and what it has to offer. I felt that this guide lacked the in-depth information that I wanted, as it only covered most areas very briefly. The book is very thin considering it includes Mallorca, Menorca as well as Ibiza - so much important and interesting information is missing.

Ensaimadas, siurells and Modernista architecture, oh my! What we know as mayonnaise was "salsa mahonesa" from the provincial town of Mao on island of Menorca.
