Dr. Mona Holmlund is an Assistant Professor of Art History at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada, in the faculty of History. Her work focuses on visual and popular culture and is heavily reliant on the vagaries of archival collections. She is the co-editor, with Cheryl Avery, of Better Off Forgetting?: Essays on Archives, Public Policy and Collective Memory (UTP, 2010). Her other publications include Women Together (Running Press, 1999) and Inspiring Women (coteau Books, 2003).
