Unleashed Under the Mistletoe is the first standalone novella in the Pleasure Grove Hot Romance series with a happily-ever-after ending and no cliffhanger.
The pretty girls never say yes to a guy like Leo.
But when he overhears the ladies in the office laughing at him behind his back, he does the unthinkable: he accepts a mysterious invitation to a holiday party at The Grove.
Thinking he's at an exclusive business party, Leo is shocked when leather clad beauties order the guests to strip!
The moment Evie lays eyes on Leo, she's drawn by his dark, exotic good looks. Once she gets his clothes off and sees him for the shy but sexy guy he is, she's tempted to shed her Domina persona.
Can an office geek wake up and see that this free-spirited woman might want more than to tie him up and make him beg?
Enjoy Isabel Winsor's sexy novella!

Growing up, Isabel was always told not to show off for boys because they only wanted one thing. Secretly, she wanted that one thing too! She grew up thinking she was bad because of her bedtime fantasies of what Sleeping Beauty did after she was kissed by Prince Phillip. But then she discovered Delta of Venus by Anais Nin and the lurid, luscious stories awoke Isabel’s imagination and made her first boyfriend a very happy young lad! Isabel now writes about powerful women who stoke the inner fire of the men who enter their lair. And in her mind, Prince Phillip was never the same after Sleeping Beauty licked her lips and left him in her bed.
Now for the real bio: Isabel Winsor is the superhero identity of a multi-published author who began life writing romantic comedies and chick lit. When she was told to tone down the sex, she wondered what it would be like to really let loose! One year shy of turning 40, and tired of being a chicken, Isabel wrote her first erotic romance. There’s no stopping her now!
I receive this book for my honest review:) I have to say that this was different. I mean all this books that i've read about controlling, i never expect the woman to have the control. First pages wore ok, you know, get used with it, but i have to say that i like more when the men it is in control.
Woman, across the globe, are everyday in control. They have to do everything. I think that in bed, they want to loosen up that control and give that to the men. Or maybe i've read to many books when men are in control that i can enjoy one book that women takes it.
I have to say that it is the first time, in many years, when the men from the book is shy and so insecure. I have to say that i don't like this type of guy. I thing everyone likes men who are strong and secure of themselves.
This book was about the guy not the girl. It shows to you that a women can change a men in good. I like that i see this thing in the end of the book. Also it was i love story. Truly love story.
So, it is cool to reach new territories, like this book. It is something different, but the same time you will like it. :)
Leo Mehta is an insecure office nerd who is socially awkward. Most times, he is the bunt of a joke from some malicious girls in the office. One day, Leo receives a mysterious black invitation on his desk. He thinks it is another joke so he throws it in the trash. When he receives the same invitation at his home. He is intrigued. He goes to the event and meets Evelina Ortega. Evie is a female dom. Evie brings Leo out of his comfort zone. It is very endearing and searing to watch them to work out their relationship. Especially when Leo comes from strict traditional custom oriented background, their both worlds collide. I really enjoyed his book. I had to get a glass of chilled wine to cool down. I love it. I received this complimentary book by the author in exchange for an honest review.
Oh hot damn...Unleashed under the Mistletoe might only be pages but it is full of a mix of heat and sweetness.
Leo on the outside might seem like a geek but when he is invited to a mysterious club and meets the eyes of the most beautiful woman he has ever seen, his wild side wants to come out. He didn't know what he walking into and once he did, he was about to walk out but intrigue of this sexy club and woman has him in awe.
One wild night with a stranger changes both of their lives. Leo had no idea this side of him was going to unleash and surprised that it was even there. He wanted to be dominated by this woman. And Evie might be a dominatrix and had other relationships but she felt different with Leo, she could even let go of the control with him. She even felt loved.
Leo and Evie had no idea how much they would care about one another. They even have sweet dates outside of the club but can they really be a couple? Could he let her into his life freely? His family was conservative but should he care about what they think if he had true feelings for her? And can she be in a real relationship and leave the other part of her behind?
I really enjoyed this story. Leo and Evie bring things out in each other that was beautiful. Like I said before, it was a novella but didn't feel that way. There was a lot of story packed in. It was both sexy as hell and sweet as sugar. A great mix!
**She doesn't sleep with other people from the club. Just sayin' since I know that could be an issue with readers.**
Quotes:
"It is a pleasure to have you here, Leo. I hope your experience is everything you dreamed of," Boyd said and then walked off.
"You have a rebellious streak, Leo," she said. Her left eyebrow cocked up. "It's going to be a long night."
"Eyes on me. I want to see what this does to you. I want to see you come to the edge of losing control. I want to see how far you can go."
Leo, a thirty-year old former geek, has made some changes in his life. He frequented a gym, let his hair grow, and bought a motorcycle. Now, he’s ready to get on with his life, and has plans for the future. The future is Regina, a co-worker. He’s working up the courage to ask her out. Soon, he promises himself. Those hopes die when he overhears a conversation between Regina, and a coworker, Diana. In his office mail is a black envelope, an invitation to a secret group. At first, he rejects the idea. Then, with the Regina non-situation, he decides he’ll go after all. There, he encounters people he doesn’t know doing things he’s only heard about. He’s shocked, and curious. Suddenly, a beautiful woman enters the room. She notices him too. Leo and Evie know they have something special. Unlike most couples, their love is at two separate levels. On one level, they play at domination with each other. On the other level, they love each other more than words can say. Are they able to sort it out, or does their double life spell trouble? Will their relationship change them? What surprises change things between Leo and Regina? The first book of her ‘Pleasure Grove’ series, Ms. Winsor’s Unleashed Under the Mistletoe is a well-written, short Erotic Romance. If you remove the erotica, there’s still a viable story, which is what I look for in this kind of book. I was upset with Regina for the bullying of the eminently likable Leo, but later, got over it. You’ll see. I’d read this book again, and recommend it to readers who enjoy erotica.
I give this book 5-Stars. Dayna Leigh Cheser, author of The TIME Series
Somehow, Unleashed Under the Mistletoe manages to pull of being both sweet and smexy at the same time. You can't help but feel for Leo's character--he's definitely the nice, geeky guy who never, ever gets the girl, and at least two of his coworkers are unbelievably nasty to him. We're talking should have left it behind in high school, if not junior high nasty--their behavior definitely increases Leo's likability by about a thousandfold.
Evie's character becomes even more sympathetic because of her ability to see beyond Leo's exterior to the great guy he is underneath. Their relationship is both sexy and sweet, and readers are definitely pulling for them both from the very beginning.
There isn't a whole lot of "mistletoe" in the book--really, the holidays are far in the background for much of the narrative. The focus instead is on Leo and Evie's relationship--both in and out of the club. There are a few odd details--Leo magically manages to get himself out of handcuffs that suddenly disappear, for example--but overall this was a fast and fun read with highly likable main characters. (And a sneaky, behind-the-scenes busybody: I know I'm anxious to see who he--or she--will "help" next!)
B- rating.
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
I received this novella in a giveaway. I had this story on my TBR after reading the intriguing Closer Look when I first heard of this book. It was a well written novella about an insecure guy and a beautiful girl who sees him as something special. There are some BDSM elements (and not a true representation of the lifestyle), but that's not really the focus of the story, which I found humorous, sexy and warm. Give this one a try, I enjoyed it.
I usually don't read and review erotic romances but this one was special. It took a timeworn romance trope of the alpha man seducing the virginal heroine and turned it inside out with a nice guy who never gets laid and the domina who helps him evolve in the man he's meant to be. This was a fun, seriously hot novella that didn't over stay its welcome! Can't wait for more.
