Rate this book
[Siren LoveXtreme Forever: Erotic Cowboy Ménage Romance, M/F/M/M/M/M, light spanking, HEA]

Millie Donovan is thinking of coming back to Pearl for a visit as her newest relationship destructs and her past comes back to haunt her, or rather kill her. Frank, the man who nearly killed her two years ago, is released from prison on good behavior after seducing his therapist. He wants his Millie, and he will stop at nothing, not even murdering innocent people, to get to her.

Millie is no damsel in distress. She's determined to not let Frank or her past mistakes destroy her new dream of starting over in Pearl. She's learned that she deserves to be treated with respect, and damn it, she's done with men altogether. Her new life doesn't have the room for one. She's been burnt twice before, and the third time is not going to happen.

The Lewis brothers, Dalton, Hank, Marco, Jeremy, and Anthony, disagree. She's the spark that lights their fires, and she's about to realize that they want to be part of Millie's Second Chance.

Note: There is no sexual relationship or touching for titillation between or among siblings.

People seem to be more interested in my name than where I get my ideas for my stories from. So I might as well share the story behind my name with all my readers.

My momma was born and raised in New Orleans. At the age of twenty, she met and fell in love with an Irishman named Patrick Riley Dwyer. Needless to say, the family was a bit taken aback by this as they hoped she would marry a family friend. It was a modern day arranged marriage kind of thing and my momma downright refused.

Being that my momma’s families were descendents of the original English speaking southerners, they wanted the family blood line to stay pure. They were wealthy and my father’s family was poor.

Despite attempts by my grandpapa to make Patrick leave and destroy the love between them, my parents married. They recently celebrated their sixtieth wedding anniversary.

I am one of six children born to Patrick and Lynn Dwyer. I am a combination of both Irish and a true southern belle. With a name like Dixie Lynn Dwyer it’s no wonder why people are curious about my name.

Just as my parents had a love story of their own, I grew up intrigued by the lifestyles of others. My imagination as well as my need to stray from the straight and narrow made me into the woman I am today.

I am a HUGE fan of Dixie Lynn Dwyer. I have read all of her books and she is a definite auto buy for me. Her books continue to be rereads for me and Millie's Second Chance is no exception. A great addition to this series that I hope continues.

Usually in her books I have a favorite out of the guys but I can honestly say that I loved all the guys in this story and I have never wanted to replace a female character more than I wanted to replace Millie!!! LOL ;p Marco, Anthony, Dalton, Hank and Jeremy *sigh* I also really liked Millie's character and I loved seeing my favorite characters from the previous books.

A great story with great characters and HOT sex with a HEA. Everything that I have come to expect and love about a Dixie Lynn Dwyer book. Can't wait for the next book. This is definitely going into my keeper pile along with the rest and will definitely be reread!! 5 out of 5 rating.

Millie is back in the town of Pearl after another disastrous relationship gone bad. As she reconnects with her friends, someone from her past is making his way back to cause problems that this time around can be detrimental to her. She is becoming close to the Lewis brothers, but will they be able to guard Millie from the problems on the rise coming her way?

Millie Donovan left the town of Pearl years ago, but her fond memories never wavered sending her best friends Anna and Stacey to find true love and away from the negative lifestyles they were surrounded with. Millie should have taken her own advise, but she met a man who she thought she was in love with only to have him brutally abuse her and leave her within a thread of life. When she finds out he got early parole she is worried, when she receives a phone call from him she panics and heads to Pearl. The one thing Millie vows is never again let a man in her life.

The Lewis brothers are looking to find a relationship similar to the menage lifestyles the town accepts, but they have not found a woman they can all agree on. The biggest hurdle right now for them is Dalton, he has been hurt and that he wears battle scars has him questioning every women in their path. When he meets Millie he is attracted to her, but quickly decides she is the same as the rest of the women who fawn over the Lewis brothers. Hank, Jeremy, Anthony, and Marco see it differently and little by little Millie gets under all of their skins. Dalton is the first to act though and once her tender kiss hits his lips there is no going back, he plans to protect her no matter what. Millie is used to be independent and has had so many bad experiences she is not quite willing to hand over the reigns quite yet, wondering if it is possible to find true love. The Lewis brothers intend to prove there is.

I liked this one, but probably my least favorite. I was slightly confused because there is a back story that really was not referred to in Anna and Stacey's stories which is huge. I liked Millie, but was more interested in the male characters particularly Marco who is a deputy and really controls the tone of the story when he is in it. Dalton is a quick runner up though.

I have read quite a few DLD books and all of this series.

I was just re-reading the Cyberevolution series by Kaitlyn O'Connor, and just on the heels of that I noticed how similar the writing styles are. If you are a Kaitlyn (and all of her many pen names) fan like I am, you might like Dixie Lynn Dwyer's books as well.

I liked this book, Millie, and the guys - but 5 are just too many to get to know any of them well enough. I think this series needs to start including more quirky townspeople from Pearl (ala Bliss, CO or Divine, TX) or it will get stale quickly. I know the women's shelter gives plenty of opportunities for angsty on-the-run women to pair up with multiple men, but I don't know that I want to read more than one book like that.

The realism about TX life is pretty good... most people can't make all of their living off their property anymore, and have other jobs in addition.

When Millie's violent ex-boyfriend gets out of prison early, thanks to his seduction of his therapist and her current boyfriend dumps because he is a first class jerk she does the only thing she can do. She runs to Pearl and her friends, Anna and Stacy, but trouble isn't far behind and never minding the five Lewis brothers who are determined to make her theirs.

There are a lot of things that I like about Dixie Lynn Dwyer's books and two of those are the strong females characters that even though they may be feeling week at the moment, they manage to keep fighting back. The second thing I like is that she can seriously create one hell of a bad guy, the sadistic nature of Frank was off the chart, and you could almost feel the evil coming out of the book when his scenes came up.

I liked the premise of the story. Five hot alpha gorgeous men. One very lucky woman. I would love that to be me. She happens to be runnuing to save her life. They are experienced in pleasuring women. She is basically not experienced sexually. Or a virgin. Same storyline. But in this one that attraction between them seemed to be rushed. Logically. A woman that's been through what she's been through should not have had those reactions to any man. No matter how hot or even if say a Brad Pitt type was there. I mean come on go from a scared shitless female to kissing the hot as sin males. Which ok I say you only live once and carpe diem and all that shit. But mentally come on. No one and I mean no one would rush in like that. I wouldn't.

Millie starts off being a strong young kid on streets with Anna and Stacy, after two bad physical/emotional relationship Millie has no self confidence and degrades herself all time till she finds herself back in pearl with friends that love her and Lewis brothers who want to love her. The story was good but a lot of it I sometimes thought it had too many character competing for attention of Millie, all brothers started to bleed into one big huge orgy pile, Five men might be too much lol. After everything that happens when she recovering in hosp they still had to do her on hosp bed, which when I read It I though that was a bit selfish of them but ended well.

My all time favourite in this series was For the Love of Anna (The Town of Pearl, #1) by Dixie Lynn Dwyer .

Millie's story was ok, but I want this series to get better with each book. Perhaps what I loved about Anna's story is that she was shy, any way this is a great read and addition to the series.

Fantastic

I actually don't think there is enough good things I could say about this story. I really enjoyed reading the first two, and expected the same from this one; however, Millie's story far exceeded my expectations. I don't think there was a single aspect I did not like, even Millie's lack of backbone where men were concerned in the beginning. She definitely broke that mold later. I am looking forward to reading the next one tremendously.

This was a really great story. Stacey, Anna and Lena are all strong in their own ways, but Millie seems to be able to overcome her fears and insecurities easier than her girlfriends, while the Lewis bros want to protect her but at the same time admire that she wants to be stronger not just emotionally but physically as well. Will def be reading this again.

This was different. Millie survived a horrific ordeal and has horrible taste in the men she choose because of her elected taste. Now after meeting the Lewis Brother things begin to unravel at a fast pace. All those that thought they could nail down Frank were decieved. I was sorry to see the other major dickhead removed but then again he did deserve it as well as the good doctor.

Millie confused me, from nearly being killed to a verbal abusive relationship, but still happy to be involved with 5 controlling brothers??? Didn't get it
