Surprised how good this was. Very brief overview of trusting God in uncertainty, but there was no invalidation and acknowledged that sin isn't always the cause of anxiety. Also provided practical tips along with Biblical passages of encouragement. Definitely recommend.
A short, convicting and encouraging book for those of us who struggle with anxiety and panic attacks. Filled with great reminders to get our minds off of ourselves and onto God, and challenges how we are thinking about God in our moments of anxiety - are we predicting future events where He is not sovereign and good or trusting in His true character and faithfulness?
Short but powerful! Really enjoyed reading through it and taking notes. I think it’s so important for us to learn that God is trustworthy! We may not be sure what the future holds or understand how to deal with certain circumstances, but we can be sure that we always have God’s presence and help.
“Next time you are fearful or worried, go outside and look at the stars. Remember that the God who created the stars and knows their names, cares for you.”
A very short yet precise book offering comfort to the anxious and also allows for reflection and the need for changes to be less anxious and more trusting in Him.
