When I entered to win this book, I had my great-niece, age 8, in mind. I was so thrilled to win a copy! It arrived on the same day as she did to spend a week at my cottage with me. She LOVED the book! Perfect reading length for her current reading level and she loved the story. She was VERY impressed that the author, Helen Perelman, took the time to autograph her copy and she said that she was being extra-careful as it was a special book to keep. Thanks Ms. Perelman for offering your book and just know that you made a little girl very happy with an awesome summer vacation book to read!

Me & my seven year old daughter read these books together and she just loves them! We typically read 3 chapters a day.

Personally, I didn't like this book, but my daughter loved both reading and listening to it. Since she is in the designated age group, her opinion should probably matter more than mine, so I won't offer my critiques.
