This was an enjoyable read. Gage is a movie star and he tends to attract scandals. Megan is in charge of keeping him out of trouble. Of course by the end they fall in love. Unfortunately due to her ex things were complicated. However, everything worked out well for them in the end.

What a great book (series) to read! Was on fall break this week so I saved mistaken gifts and secret gifts for this week to read on our way to California. So hard to put down even to go Into Disneyland! Can't wait for the next one thanks!

Good installment in the Castle Mountain Lodge series. It didn't wrap up the Lisa issue - she should have been fired and we got no resolution. I hope she'll be gone from the resort in the next story. I know it's just a story but it's bad enough that she got involved with a guest that she was warned away from by resort management once but then she went to the media and brought unwelcome publicity. She should have been fired immediately.

He fell into stardom, and it went to his head. Off course the press had a field day, at his expense.
She was brought in to curtail any further fallout, but she may also may have been the cause of further mayhem.

Love all the books even this one. I am stuck in bed because of the stomach flu and if it wasn't for her books I wouldn't know what to do.

Another great story in this series. It seems that everyone finds love at Castle Mountain Lodge even if they aren't looking for it.

Lame characters who had drama after drama then seemed to rush its way to a too nicely resolved story.

I enjoyed the romance and drama of this collection. If Castle Mountain Lodge actually existed I think I'd like to take a vacation there and get lost in it's magic.

The narrator did a great job with the characters and kept me involved. The characters are perfect and really keeps you on your toes. The torment hurt my heart. And the reveal really surprised me.

One of my hot buttons: a plot that depends on highly unlikely coincidences. Unfortunately a common trope.

Gage is quite the movie star but has his career threatened but his wild party ways. He has been told that if he gets into any more trouble before his next show is set to appear he will be killed off and it will be over for him.

Morgan is a PR rep and her only job is to be a "babysitter" for Gage. They are both set to stay at the Castle Mountain Lodge and against what they both want, they are booked in the same room.

Gage likes to have fun and party it up, Morgan has different ideas and is determined to tame him. With not much to do but stay under the radar and away from prying eyes like the press, Morgan and Gage find themselves tangled up with one another.

This is an awesome story and one that will hold your attention so much that you wont be able to put it down until the story is over. And like the rest of the series, you get to catch up with everyone else from the lodge that we have all fallen in love with.

I read "Unexpected Gifts" and loved it so much that I decided to check out the other books in Elena Aitken's "Castle Mountain Lodge" series. The blurbs all sounded really interesting, so I took my pick by buying the novel whose cover I liked most. I ended up with "Secret Gifts" and liked it a lot. Somehow, I would have loved to story to be a little longer and more complex and emotional. As it is, I really liked the dark past that is haunting the hero as much as his present with all the glam and fame he doesn't seem to want.
This was fun to read and I am planning on checking out more of Aitken's books, maybe outside the series, although the Lodge and its surroundings make for a fantastic backdrop.

Another good book in the series

Another couple has found love at the magical Castle Mountain Lodge. Megan and Gage's story is one of making the best of a situation and finding love along the way. As with all of Elena Aitken's books, it is well written and so descriptive I can imagine the lodge and the beautiful scenery. I love hearing a little more on previous couples and characters from the other books. This book can be read as a standalone, but it's much better read on order of the series.

Where does a party boy go to relax and be on his best behavior, no where else but the Castle Mountain Lodge. We are introduced to Gabe and Megan and discover their love story in this fourth installment of the Castle Mountain Lodge series. Each time I read about this place I fall more and more in love with it and can imagine myself there reading a good book beside a crackling fire in the front area of the lodge and watching it snow on the mountain.

If party boy Gage doesn’t shape up, he’ll lose the role of a lifetime. A role he desperately needs. It’s Megan Powers job to make sure he stays out of trouble, but when the focus turns from staying out of trouble, to getting into it—together. They both stand to lose everything. Megan has an ex out to ruin her and Gage is battling his reputation and a blonde. They get close very fast, but this is the steamy version of this story.

A spoiled young actor with a reputation for being a party boy and a pr agent hired to act as his babysitter and keep him in line while at castle lodge. An attraction between the two and a family reconciliation in this book of the castle mountain lodge series.

Another great book by Elena Aitkens. The way Megan helps Gage is totally amazing. You will feel like you are standing on the mountain seeing what the characters are witnessing the way the author describes the scenes. You won't be able to stop reading this book.

Another great read by Elena Aitken. This is Gage & Megans story. Gage is an actor who needs to be shown how to get his partying behind him. Megan is just the person to do that. I do believe that you need to read this series.

Loved it!

I was a little worried about the issue with Ryan and Lois but she totally became my hero! Gage and Megan were amazing! Great couple! Good build up with an even balance between unexpected and predictability. I liked it.
