I learned so much from this book about plants , animals, and insects that I never knew. The book has a daily entry about these living things that a person could observé in the northland area that time of year. Great photos and illustrations too.

This is a perennial favorite that sits on my dining room table. Although the region covered is a bit North of my own (I live in CT), I can flip to the date every day and learn something new, or be reminded of it!
