A prolific author, Mina Carter writes everything in romance. Series and standalones, long and short, contemporary and paranormal...she thrills her many fans with complete stories each time. This shorter book is the perfect quick read with the requisite hot alpha male, sassy heroine, steamy passion, and fast paced action.

This was a fun, sexy book. The hero is a mercenary who kidnaps a scientist--the heroine. It turns out, everything is not as it appeared, so they end up on the run together and fall in love. The action was good, the plot held together well, and the characters were likable. I especially loved the sexy scenes.

I liked it!
Even though I was hoping for more elaborate backgrounds, more details and definitely more drama, overall I enjoyed it. This is my 2nd Mina Carter's book I think and so far I like her style of writing. But again, it's too short!
Look forward to read more from this author!

a hot mercenary who kidnapped a sassy scientist and fell in love with each other. it's a short story that is funny, got a thrill on it and so full of romance

I was almost going to give 4 stars, until I encountered a strange error at the end.
