It's been a bad night for Lea Taylor. First, her snake of a boyfriend surprises her by taking her to a key party. He thinks she’s uptight and repressed. She decides he’s a jerk and dumps him right there at the party. Ready to storm out, she runs into her incredibly sexy boss. She's mortified beyond belief. What will her boss think of her now?
Jack Britton thinks his assistant is one beautiful woman. A woman he wouldn't mind getting to know better. He’s had a few naughty fantasies about the fiery redhead, and he wouldn’t mind living them out. All he needs is a chance.

Although this book was short, it was jammed full of action! Hot and steamy baby! I really enjoyed the story and found the series premise very believable. Looking forward to more!
One night Lea Taylor boyfriend "surprises" her by taking her to a key party. He wants to spice up their sex life. She decides he’s a jerk and dumps him right then and there. As she's leaving, she runs into her sexy boss, Jack Britton. Jack thinks his assistant is beautiful and wouldn't mind getting to know better. All he needs is a chance.
Can these two get together after "meeting" at a key party?
This was a cute, enjoyable. but SHORT, diversion. I really liked Lea and Jack and would have like to have seen the story expanded to a novella so we could get more of their story. I'd love for her ex-jerk get a comeuppance, for example. I'd like to know more about the characters, etc. I'd also like to know that this -- hopefully monogamous from now on -- relationship has a HEA. It sounds like it does, but...
Oh... I had to laugh that ex-jerk Gary brought Lea to the key party (supposedly) to spice up their sex life yet he dropped HIS key in the "vanilla" bowl.
The only negative I have... Lea describes Jack's car as a "completely restored candy apple red 1963 Mustang convertible." There were no 1963 Mustangs. The first Mustang was a 1964 and a half. Maybe it was a typo, but for me, it's a huge one. (I love Mustangs!)
This short story pretty much does what it says on the tin. This nearly had 4 stars from me, however some of the dialogue was just cheesy and had me cringing. Also
All in all not a bad read, and it moves at an appropriate pace for a short story.
I agree with one of the other reviewers that I'd like to know more and see what happens next.
The story details a shy woman's journey into the world erotic love. The story is witty and fast paced. There is a nice ending making the reader want to read the sequel to find out what happens next to the characters.
