Rainbow Rowell (Fangirl)got me into reading a Harry Potter fanfic.Im glad I could leave a review for this author here on goodreads( I literally log every book read ever here).

I literally left Fangirl midway to search for the best Harry Potter fanfic and lo behold I got to read Delicate. This book was written in 2008 and yet she predicted a lot of things Rowling wrote about the next generation in "Cursed Child". Although padfoor4ever's style is different from Rowlings, it was fun reading about the generation after Harry Potter.

Im definitely going to read Still Delicate after I finish Fangirl.

I am not even embarrassed tbh, this was such a fun, relaxing read after my last book. The author did a great job of building off of the existing HP World and making sure it was accurate as well. They developed characters so well and I really found myself wishing I could have such a large family like Rose. The humor was honestly exactly what I expected of British humor and I don’t even think the author is British, so hats off to them. I legitimately got emotionally attached to characters that only existed in the epilogue of the Deathly Hallows. If you want Harry Potter nostalgia, highly recommend, I promise the premise isn’t as insane as it appears at first glance 😭

I absolutely love it, and wish it were still available to read. If the author is still checking their good reads page in 2021, I do sincerely hope that they will repost both this one and the sequel on another website such as Ao3 or Fanfiction.net. So many people have tried to replicate it on these sites, but of course the complete books are hard to find! Please, I hope you could make this possible soon! Thanks!

I used to read so much fanfic as a teenager, and Delicate is the only one that I remember vividly all these years later. Such an amazing story that really felt like it was part of the HP world.

PSA for anyone who also remembers the story and wishes they could read it again since the HP fan fic website shut down - you can access the entire archive of the story here: https://web.archive.org/web/201804230...

Funny, clever, gripping to the end without becoming a soap opera. I loved it. It was a search online to find it. Hoping to be as lucky to get a pdf or sm from the sequel as well. Dear author, Id love for you to repost this amazing story on ao3 or wherever;) it was a joy to read, very well written. Thank you!

It was surprisingly good! I was just looking through goodreads list of harry potter fanfiction to find out if my favourite was on the list when I found this. The biggest surprise that came from this work was its ability to arouse emotion. I honestly didn't think I would be so affected that I would cry but I did in a certain part I think this was the fanfiction that encouraged me to explore Rose/Scorpio fanfiction after reading so many Jily or James/Lily fanfiction.

The main character is three dimensional, humor and pathos are well balanced, and the resolution is emotionally realistic. Yeah, there's immaturity and stupidity, but these are teenagers. The gloriously loving, chaotic Weasley family is a big plus as well. Fun read.
