Doesn't make much sense.
How did a Space Marine survive for 3 years aboard a bioship still full of 'nids eating everything? The answer is...he doesn't remember. It was nice seeing Hwygir again after Slaughter at the Giants Coffin, he didn't do much but I liked seeing him.
The main character was pretty forgettable and generic so nothing worth talking about there. The ending was also pretty predictable. Action was dull and boring. All in all I don't recommend this at all.
If you're going to read this just keep in mind two names need changing when reading this for it to line up with the other Scythes of the Emperor stories.
First, the Heart of Sotha is actually the Heart of Cronus from the other stories.
Second, the character of Thrasius is meant to be called Thracian.

I strongly believe that this one is one of the best stories about Scythes of the Emperor Space Marines. I was 'on one wave' with the protagonist. I was moved by this story. Intense, colourful and emotional.
