Lots of high reviews but I dropped it at 43% I did like the first story about the Holocaust fathers.

This is a highly engaging and unique book that proved to be a real page turner and very gripping. It is extremely well written and was captivating from beginning to end. It really illustrates the tales of Adam and others and their courage and survival.
Very emotionally driven from sad to inspiring, I have already highly recommended this book to family and friends.

An Absolutely Riveting Read
Many books written by Holocaust survivors are avoided by readers as being depressing, “My Father’s Secret” is not in this category. Dr. Samson Stern has a amazing ability to overcome circumstances and offer the best of humankind.
The drawings in the middle of each chapter by Doron Rosenblatt are a perfect accompaniment. I’ve already recommended it to other readers!

I’m a little undecided about this book. I bought it after being curious about the author’s father. The story was I interesting but shorter than I expected. The “other” stories almost seemed like the author wanted to brag about his friends and their experiences. I feel the stories while a bit interesting, didn’t belong in the same book as his father’s story.
