When I first picked up this book I did not realize that it was a follow up to India's Summer but that did not take away from my reading experience whatsoever. This was a quick, fun read that will take you to New York, Paris, London on one women's journey of self-discovery. It will also make you want to book a first flight to Paris. All I could think about while reading it were Parisian cafes, baguette sandwiches and the magical romantic vibe of the city.

Grateful to NetGalley and The Story Plant for gifting me a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

From Los Angeles to Paris, Thérèse takes India to a new scene with new sights, adventures and travel. Having a fresh look on India having not known her character in India's Summer, I grew to see her character within the first few chapters as highly like-able (I can see why Thérèse's novels are so popular with celebrities alike) and balanced person in life. I loved that as I was reading, I was aware that I didn't have to read the first novel in the series to understand India and grew to know her characters quirks and ways; her humour and poise especially.
As Letter From Paris delves into the story, we learn some secrets from India's Summer and get straight into India's growth as a person. Suddenly, we're whisked away to Paris on streets I've never heard of but want to go to and descriptions of adventures I could only dream of. Not only does India's life burst full of love and light, but romance and drama as the story progresses into personal and business relationships of conflict and mystery - above all, India trying to stay true to who she is and what she truly wants out of life.

Letter from Paris by Therese
Love that this story follows India from the previous book I read.
Starts in Las Vegas, NV
Story starts out with Natalie and she just met Adam, the famous movie star.
He takes her to see the Bellagio waterfalls, the ofuntain is amazing and the sounds that come with it, have experienced this myself.
She's a publicist and her client is arriving the next day.
Then India sees a woman wearing Adams coat and calls him so he can clarify the shot the rags got of them...
India is heading to Paris by herself for a few days. Her and Annie had
Story also follows others who are corroborating their expertise for the show.
Misunderstandings and truths come out. Love the aspects of the materials used, so unique and they don't use fossil fuels..
Love hearing of the fashion, design, travel is so precise,
So cool how it all turns out, lot of compromises and forgiveness.
Received this review copy from The Story Plant and this is my honest opinion.

I read Letter From Paris cover to cover on a flight from New York to London a couple of years ago. I couldn't put it down, it was brilliant.

Book Review:

Letter from Paris a novel

by Therese

A sequel to stand on its own, Therese continues India Butler’s journey of life taking her from Los Angeles of India’s Summer to a new adventure in Letter from Paris. The world of fashion, publishing and public relations comes to life within these pages in a new way as the reader is transported between Paris, New York and London via Therese’s imagination. It is brilliantly described to vicariously follow India as she steps out in a new journey onto these city streets.

This story not only encompasses all the romance and mystique of Paris but adds in the spices of drama of several story threads. As a result, India navigates through a mine field of relationships both professional and personal. Through the processes of her new job and the dramas of those around her she is forced to look within and find her authentic self.

This wonderful story is more than a fling in Paris it is a transformative venture where India learns who she really is and what really matters to her. The twists and turns that are thrown her way from a cast of true-to-life characters adds such nuance to make the reader want to shake a few of them into seeing what is really happening; yet in dichotomy also for the reader to want to be one of these very characters.

Add in the humor as India wants to be everything French and tries to follow rules of Ines de la Fressange, a French model, fashion designer and aristocrat but realizes being true to herself is always more suitable.

Therese has written a tension filled story making the reader want to turn page after page just to find out the solution of India’s situational hi-jinx. Take an afternoon to follow India from Paris to London to New York and witness when the fashion world meets the literary world in a cross-promotional venture, truly an entertaining read!

Thank you to Netgalley and The Story Plant for an advanced copy.

I loved how this story had several different relationships going on at the same time - India and Adam, India and Henry, Luella and Peter and so on and so forth. So many great topics were touched upon between romance, a new job, friendships and life as we know it that is ever changing whether or not we want it to.

India's life has now taken a new turn - new job, the single life and new friendships formed. A trip to Paris could change everything for her...It's exciting to watch her life unfold before our very eyes!

I loved all the cultural attractions, foods, and language that were used throughout the piece. I really felt connected to France in this piece and I would love to go one day soon.

This is a great read, I would recommend it to everyone!

Though a sequel, can be read as a standalone. We follow India from Paris to London to New York and it is an entertaining read. The author has brought the feel of being in France.
